The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. Once we reached the counter, the staff greeted us warmly and had our order ready in no time. The drink station was also clean and well-stocked, and we quickly found a seat to enjoy our meal. Everything was presented nicely and looked absolutely delicious. The ribs were the standout for me--tender, juicy, and nearly falling off the bone. They were so flavorful that I didn't even need BBQ sauce. My wife really enjoyed the moist brisket, and we both loved the mac and cheese. The half chicken was well-seasoned and stayed juicy, while the sausage had great flavor and a satisfying snap. The only reason for four stars instead of five was a couple of the side dishes. We tried the jalapeño cream corn, which used pickled jalapeños. The flavor was a little unusual for our taste, though it may simply be a style we aren't accustomed to. The potato salad was also more tart than we expected.
