Went here at lunch time, we were seated and ordered chips and queso. It was probably worst one I've ever had. The other food did redeem it, I got the Mexican burger and fries and it was really good. We've been here 2 times and both times were 10/10. Authentic Mexican food is hard to find but I'm glad we found this place. We were greeted as soon as we entered and felt very welcomed. The food came fast and hot. We ordered a molcajete for 2 & I'm pretty sure it could feed 4 people maybe even more. I was surprised on the amount of meat it had. They also give you a good amount of tortillas to go with it. We had the Ferrero Rocher ice cream for dessert and it was also delicious. It is a little pricey but definitely worth it! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would!! Horrible place!!! They charge for refills and don't even tell you. I just ordered a large platter to go for almost $70 and they didn't give me what I ordered. I ordered beef and chicken fajitas and when I got home they gave me disgusting burnt shrimp and sausage and stuff I didn't even ask for. There are people in my house with a seafood allergy and when I called, they just said, "Oh well. For next time specify that you don't want those items." Seriously!? That's $70 worth of food that I'm having to throw away because of THEIR MISTAKE!!!! I'm done with this place! Never again!!! Stay away! The food is not even good, it's mediocre at best. I'm a taco snob and let me tell yah these barbacoa tacos are delicious! They serve them everyday unlike some places that only offer them on Saturdays. Service was nice and inside seating was clean. Very reasonable prices. They also carry a variety of all the Mexican flavored drinks. The beans were like maya coba beans and the rice was very flavorful and fluffy. Everything was so fresh and tasty!! The salsas had a really good tasty kick to them. The chips were delicious as well. Our order was Togo but the food look so good we ate it right there and then! Just heard about this restaurant on the next-door app and it is so pretty authentic Mexican food. The chips and hot sauce are exceptional, my favorite being the red sauce.The Colorado plate (pork meat and a spicy red sauce) is probably the best I've had outside of Mexico. If you are looking for a quiet restaurant with good food, this is your place. My wife had the flautas which tend to be greasy in most places. The flautas here had next to none and according to her were the best she's had in awhile. I had the taco salad with chicken and while the lettuce was so wet that it made my tortilla bowl extra soggy on the bottom, the salad itself was delicious. The server was very attentive to our needs as well and did not hover, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant. The lone drawback is that they do not have a soft drink fountain which means that if you want a Coke, you'll have to pay $1 per can, and the refills on them are not free. Overall, definitely worth the $25 we spent. read more

My family and I have frequented this establishment pretty often and the food and service is usually pretty good. The last few times, they have gotten the order wrong, but being something we would eat, we ate it any way and just advised the waitress that it was not what we ordered. Last night I decided I would go ahead and give it another try. The chips were SO salty I couldn't eat them and they only brought a few instead of the usual basket. I ordered the ground beef nachos. When they arrived at the table, there was a lot of grease on the plate (like it had not been drained off the meat before hand). The chips were already soggy and burnt. Hesitant at first because I am very picky about the food I eat, but no doubt Taqueria Torres proved me wrong and the street tacos were DELICIOUS! Hands down the best street tacos I've had so far. I order the street taco plate which included 3 tacos of your choice(I got 2 fajita tacos 1 pork taco), rice, beans, salsa & I added a side of grilled jalapeño (I love spicy foods). I called in and ordered my meal to go and only had a wait about 6 minutes! Ordering through the phone was very fast and convenient. When I got there it was a small, family friendly restaurant that I was welcomed into as soon as I walked in the door.
