We love everything about Alquisiras. If you haven't gone or ordered yet, we highly recommend it…read more We particularly like the green enchiladas, Al Pastor Tacos, their salsas, pico de gallo, street corn, and grilled cactus. We also love the Tres Leches Cake for dessert. We've eaten here twice so far and already have plans to come back a third time. The service was friendly both times and on Sundays they set up a tent outside.

I was tasked with finding a place to eat while we were in the Coatesville area. I didn't know much…read moreabout this area but after reading several reviews I sellected Alquisiras. It was def a great choice and if I'm ever in this area again I will come back. It was a little confusing when we walked in bc the place was empty and no one came to seat us. We waited a while and eventually someone came to help us. We weren't in a rush so it really wasn't a big deal for us to wait. The chips and salsa that we were served while we read the menu were delish! The menu was quite extensive. We ended up ordering guac to start and it was very fresh and delicious. We also ordered the enchiladas. It came with beans, rice, and a fresh salad. You could pick if you wanted 4 or 6 enchiladas and I selected 6 so I would have some leftovers. The menu listed a pork, chicken, and cheese mix and I asked them to leave out the chicken which they accommodated. I would def ordered this again. We also ordered something called parradillas(?) I prob spelled this wrong lol. Anyway there was so much variety on this plate - beans, rice, steak, chicken, chorizo, chili relleno, a diff type of stuffed pepper, roasted veggies and I forget what else. It was spectacular. And as we were eating the 3 men at the table next to us all ordered it too so it must be their best dish. We also had a chicken quesadilla that was huge and delish. Everyone who came in to eat at the restaurant was spanish speaking and we were the only ones who were not - so that is another way to know it was authentic. Def if you are in the area stop here. Leave room for desserts too. Their dessert fridge looked awesome but I just didn't have room in my belly to order any.

5 Stars - Something Truly Special…read more This place is something special. A friend of mine told me about it -- and he is not easy to impress when it comes to restaurants. He's usually the guy who finds something to critique. So when he described this place as "incredible," "authentic," "unbelievable," and "special," I honestly couldn't believe how highly he was praising it. Then I went. I was absolutely blown away. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt warm and welcoming. The service wasn't just good -- it was genuine. The staff treated me like family. They kept bringing out dishes for me to try, excited to share their food. I didn't even pay for some of it -- and I actually insisted on paying because it was just too good not to. (And yes... I wanted more.) The food? Incredible. Authentic Honduran cooking that completely won me over. I'm from New York City, where you're spoiled with diversity and world-class restaurants on every corner. Lancaster has some solid spots, but this? This competes with -- and honestly beats -- many places I've had in NYC. I genuinely couldn't believe it. The atmosphere was festive, vibrant, and full of heart. You can tell this isn't just a business -- it's pride, culture, and passion on a plate. Give this place your money. They deserve every cent. The servers are top-notch, the food is unforgettable, and the experience feels personal. They've earned a loyal customer. I'll be back -- many times.

There was a bright cilantro sauce, a spicy one that was pleasantly mild, and a mayo-ketchup blend that rounded things out nicely. The tacos were delicious and packed with flavor. They were also full tacos-they weren't stingy with the meat! Service was a standout too! Our waiter was warm and attentive throughout. We were excited to try the horchata, but they'd sold out by the time we ordered. I think it would be worth asking about early if you're set on trying it. The space itself is open and inviting, with a mix of bar seating and high-top tables. The food also came out pretty quickly.
