Fajitas Y Salsa has become our favorite Mexican food place in southwest Chester County. We've been 5 or 6 times and have taken out of town guests there twice. All of the food is made on site at this family-owned place. The food is outstanding! I've had too many great tasting dishes to try to pick out my favorite. I am always satisfied with my choices. We've never had to wait for a table and the servers are quick, attentive and efficient. The atmosphere is never noisy, even when the restaurant is full. This place changed hands about a month ago and tonight I randomly decided to try it out. It's a BYOB so there's that. I tried the small cheese dip and I was excited to see Birria Tacos on the menu. In my opinion the food could have benefited from a lot more spice and it wasn't very warm. I was only customer here when I sat down. The onion in the Birria tacos overpowered them in my opinion. I'm always down for Mexican food, so when I heard fajitas y salsas was good, I knew I had to come try for myself. I ordered the Burrito Veracruz and my mom ordered two chicken chimichangas. They both tasted very similar. They were good, but their was hardly any distinction. Also their guacamole is not the best. Maybe because it was warm since we got take out so it was sitting in the container on the hot burrito for a while. I will say the food is delicious, but it's more like Tex Mex food. My girlfriend and I dined here on 12/13. During di nner, my girlfriend bit down on a 1" piece of hard plastic. We spoke with our server and requested that it should be taken off our bill. The bill came and was not removed. We asked to speak to the manager to rectify our bill. The manager came over to our table and requested why we didn't speak with her directly. We spoke to our server, who we expected to speak with her. This is normal protocol when dining. The server was a sweet girl who We came to understand had difficulties with English. The manager was a bully to her and her customer...us. The owner of this establishment should consider the manager and her role in this position, or they will lose customers. Great staff! Very attentive and the owner even came to our table. Always fresh food. I usually get the tortilla soup, which is so fresh and tasty, to start. I just wanted "Corn" tortilla al pastor. They gave me three little "Flour" tortillas with their Pastor filling.The Manager Insisted ,along with the servers that it was corn .Each Tues.
