The decor is warm and comfortable, the staff speaks mostly Spanish and most of the customers are Hispanic too. The dishes on the menu are more than the cheese-and-beans remixes most PNW Mexican restaurants offer - this is the kind of food someone's abuela might cook for you on a warm day in Mesa. And while the portions are healthy, you'll want to eat every bite and savor all the flavor. I tried the Milanesa de Res and cleaned my plate - the flour tortillas that came with it were obviously homemade and the perfect accompaniment.
