So I still had a nice hot sandwich of BBQ pork chopped with no slaw, (red slaw is acceptable and preferred as a matter of fact) riding down the highway on the way home. Let me tell you I was impressed, pleased, happy, and converted! I am now a believer in Eastern NC BBQ. Now, I still prefer Lexington, (or sometimes called Western NC style) but I can say as long as that white slaw is left off then I am good to go and up for a sandwich of Eastern style.
