I also told him that my biggest insecurity was my smile but unsure why. He asks me if it is because my teeth tilt inward and I have a gummy smile. Yes! That's it, I hadn't been able to put my finger on it but gummy smile, hated it. Dr. Cefalo insures me that Invisalign is something that could correct my overbite. Not camouflage. Not help. He convinced me for two years and 3 refinement trays that Invisalign would CORRECT my overbite. I asked many questions, upon asking for my client files none of which were documented. Only that "dr answered all of pts questions". Questions that were along the lines of, would brackets be faster? Is this working? Will my molars come outward as well? (Constant mention of front 4-6 teeth being stuck on bone and they're just being stubborn). Constant ear pain finally led me to a primary care doc, which led me to an ENT. Where I found out Invisalign was never, and could never correct an overbite. When I told dr Cefalo my new treatment plan (pallet expander and two years of brackets) he acted shocked and surprised, saying he didn't imagine it would be so invasive. I also asked him if he could tell I had been grinding my teeth, said yes but nothing concerning. (Shocker, teeth grinding caused my ear pain). Dr. Davis did give me a refund when I brought my concerns to the office, which had me conflicted on what to do next. But ultimately, what Dr Cefalo did was incredibly evil and I think people should know about it. My next question I wanted to be on record Dr, are you dumb? Didn't see a jaw discrepancy and/or thought plastic could fix it? Or are you poor? You needed to scam someone who CLEARLY doesn't come from luck or money (ie hadn't been to the dentist in 10 years)?

The waiting area is clean, and comfortable, the Ladies at front desk are friendly and efficient. Danielle, my hygienist is simply the best! Dr. Dulgarian is a very nice gentleman, and runs the office in an efficient and friendly manner. If you enjoy going to the Dentist, you might be deranged, but everyone should go, and this is a great place to be taken care of!

One of my appointments Dr. G was running a few late past my appointment and was very apologetic and gave me a Starbucks gift card. I didn't enjoy the drive, but I really liked him, so my eye never wandered... until one day a fancy mailer caught my eye. I recall seeing the phrase "paraffin wax", and baby, that's all she wrote. After walking into the unassuming office, which faces Alma School (you'll park on the opposite side of the building), I excitedly anticipated which part of my anatomy would be waxed. The office is adjacent to a colon hydro-therapy business, so I really didn't know what to expect. Mesha greeted me, and suggested I take a seat. After blurting out something about spa treatments, she summoned Dawnie, who I immediately took a shine to. She was utterly charming, referring to moi as "sugar" and "honey". Where's the tip jar, cuz daddy's ready to slap it down! After being ushered to one of their "relaxation rooms", and seeing an ultra-modern massage chair, I shifted focus to Dawnie and let out an "Oh Mama!". She coaxed my shoes off, and had me dip my paws into a crock pot of translucent wonder. First the palms, then the backsides. Each hand was bagged and summarily placed into a soft mitten. I was led to the chair, which had foot massage apparatus, which I have never seen before. Asking for a photo, I realized my camera was tucked into my front pocket. Dawnie, realizing I was about to try and stuff my baker-sized oven mitt in my jeans, offered to take the photo and text it to me. The massage chair was activated, and I spent the next 15 minutes in Pamper-ville. Tessa, my hygienist, came to fetch me. She even carried my clod hoppers to the cleaning room. Total sweetheart. After completing the cleaning, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Caryn Lee. The whole experience was one pretty woman after another. I love ya Dr Madder, but these breezies got me on lock. ps. They have the ability to mold your crown in-house, same day, so NO TEMPORARIES!!! YAY!

Long story short; best dental experience I have had and thats even with them extracting a tooth…read more The entire staff was SUPER professional and kind to me 100% recommend, stop putting your dental work off and go see them. You will feel so much better. Long story: I had to go here for an emergency tooth extraction. I had a pretty bad infection and my tooth was basically a shell of a tooth and was ridiculously nervous. I was scared to go so I let my tooth issue go on way longer than I should have due to prior dental visits elsewhere. On the form checked the box that I was having anxiety about my appointment and I feel like they actually read that and applied it to the appointment. The front desk girls were both so nice to me and helpful getting me in, the dental hygienists were super gentle with me and explained everything they were doing and what was going on in my mouth. Dr Ray was very patient with me and apologized for the discomfort I would have to feel to get numbed up but made sure I was numb and good to go before starting everything. He explained everything that I may hear or feel through the procedure and what to expect and we again very gentle considering he was pulling a tooth from my skull. Stephanie (I believe was her name. I have terrible name memory) was the dental hygienist that cleaned everything up and packed my tooth for me was super nice and thorough with explaining as well. Everyone made me feel so much more comfortable and less nervous about the whole situation. I seriously can not tell you how much I recommend going there over anywhere else I have been. I still have SO much work that needs to be done to my teeth from not taking care of them over the years but am actually looking forward to it all because I know that I am finally in good hands with Dr Ray and his team

Dr. Trang had to repair an all on four. When I went in for the installation, his dental hygienist…read morenoticed a crack. Dr. Trang said he'd warranty the repair for two months - otherwise I'd need to leave the appliance with him and leave the office with no front teeth. I had to find a time that I could be without teeth for four days, and also find those four days to synchronize with his two alternate days per week he was in the office. I contacted his office the sixth of eight weeks he had allotted. I waited a week to hear back - and nothing. I called the following week and was told they would consult with him and get back to me with his availability. I waited another full week. I called to follow up the first day of the ninth week to let them know I still had not heard from them. I was told I was past the warranty period and they would not honor the repair. I was told they called me but my voice mail was full so they could not leave a message. They called only once. Flash back the my inquiry about the needed repair. They returned the call and gave me a price of $360.00. Four days later they called me back again, left a message to contact them. When I returned the call, they told me the price would now $500.00. And then again in a few days raising it to $800.00 for the repair. I gave them the go ahead. They called two more times reminding of the appointment and to double check both times that I would bring the $800.00 with me for the time of the service and that I was aware of the price increase. In total, they contacted me six times about price, re-confirmation of price and to ensure I knew I'd need to pay at the time of the appointment. They deliberately strung out my return call for the warranty repair and then cancelled the warranty on a several day 'past date' technicality that they created. Having made six calls about price, and eight total including appointment confirmation - they made only one call, leaving no message deliberately riding out the warranty period. Bear in mind they have my email address, and could certainly try a second call out on a warranty that was necessary because of Dr. Trang's failed repair. They kept the $800.00 and refused to fix the faulty work of their lab. A failure they should have discovered by checking the quality prior to my appointment. So I asked for my dental records. They never provided them. come to find out after reporting them to the Arizona Board of Dental Examiners - they never created a treatment plan. Dr. Trang intentionally deprived me of a repair for his faulty work - set a timeline for the repair to be initiated, and then strung out communication until they ran me out of an arbitrary warranty period he offered off the cuff at the moment he should have been installing the appliance, but couldn't 't for the faulty workmanship and discovery of a crack their lab produced and overlooked. NEVER go to this facility or this doctor.

The overall quality of customer service here has taken a noticeable dive. What once felt organized now feels careless and the first impression sets the tone for everything else. Because of this, Rain just lost this dentistry a long-time client. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty of dental offices that understand courtesy isn't advanced education...it's the basics. Unfortunately, those basics seem to have been skipped here.

On January 20, 2025, I went to Chandler Modern Dentistry to replace a broken crown they had placed…read moreabout a year earlier. After taking an X-ray, they confirmed the crown was cracked. However, while attempting to remove it--after grinding it down--the dentist suddenly told me the root was also cracked. This came as a complete shock. I had no symptoms prior to my visit--no pain, swelling, or discomfort--and even the X-ray taken that day showed no visible crack. When I asked to see the issue, I was handed a mirror and noticed a bulge in the tooth. What concerned me most was the long pause the dentist took after applying significant pressure, which I believe may have caused the root to crack in the first place. The procedure lasted seven hours and left me in excruciating pain for two weeks. I developed blisters and sores around the injection sites, could barely eat solid food, and lost 10 pounds. I missed work and had many sleepless nights. Even worse, I had to return and call the office multiple times due to a foul smell, bloody drainage, and ongoing pain that continued for over a month. I canceled my follow-up appointment and decided not to return. Unfortunately, despite not completing the procedure, they still charged the full amount through my payment plan. I verbally requested a refund on February 28 and was told it would be processed in 10 business days. When nothing happened, I formally followed up on March 31. The office manager assured me again that the refund would be issued--but here I am, still waiting. This has been one of the worst dental experiences of my life. For anyone considering this office, please be aware: Chandler Modern Dentistry is not BBB-accredited, and based on my experience, they don't seem concerned with patient well-being or accountability.
