This is one of the worst Targets! Messy, dirty, and limited checkouts. Went to buy several school supply items that were clearly marked 90% off in the back school supply section. Got to the checkout and only one of the items was in the computer. The other two items were coming up regular price. They were obviously school supplies and were not put in that section in error since there were bins of them. Both the checkout person and the manager tried to tell me they didn't belong there. Then the manager said they were 50% off and not 90%. The manager clearly did not know her store. Next time I'm taking pictures of the signs and the bins. Avoid this Target like the plague. If you coupon at all do not come here. This store has made they own policy to not accept manufacturer coupons if you get a gift card after purchasing it. If Target doesnt like the idea of coupons then they shouldn't have a million ways to coupon here! From target coupon, to cartwheel app to their 5% red card! I feel bad for the poor cashiers that have to enforce this ridiculous rule of using manufacturer coupons only or receive giftcards. I came on this past Sunday and another girl was making a purchase with coupons and she was so kind to go return her items back to the shelf when they told her she couldn't use manufacturer coupons and get gift cards back. Pizza hut inside of this place is so dirty. Stuff on the floors, tables, flies all over. Just yuk. Employees are playing with each other rather than cleaning . I ordered two pizzas and two drinks, the cashier asked if I wanted one of them to be a meal and I could get breadsticks. I said ok sure. She then gave me two pizzas, breadsticks and one drink. . Grew up in Fairfield going to this target since I was a little kid, can't say it changed much from then to now, still hard to find anyone that is knowledgeable about products or someone to help you. Store is decent in size but the bigger Target's are better and seem to staff more helpful people. read more

I prefer the Vacaville store over this one, but both have exactly the same products. This location however does not have a starbucks inside. Employees are usually very helpful and I think target employees are typically happier than Walmart employees so keep it up Target! read more

This was the worst Target by far!! Worst Customer service. The bathroom was soooooo freakin disgusting. I've been to truck stop bathrooms way cleaner than this Target bathroom. There was like 5 or 6 stalls all of them and I mean ALL of them were disgusting. A couple even had Crap all over. I walked to the right to check and see if there was a clean stall and I stepped into a big puddle of water or pee idk wtf it was but soooooo disgusting. Ughhhh. I was always under the impression that target was a "nicer" store compared to others. I don't come here often because it's on the other end of town but I did recently and was disappointed. The carpet at the entrance where the carts are located was filthy! So dirty. Seemed a bit disorganized. I paid at the self checkout and literally mine got stuck trying to process the cartwheel discounts. It was hilarious that all checkouts on my side got stuck too for different reasons but the worker had to come to all and fix them. If I could put 0 stars I would. This used to be my go to store for all my needs. Only 5 minutes away from my home. Now I am taking a 20 minute drive to go out of town to another target. Recently I started couponing. I'm just a beginner but little savings is better then no savings. Eat time I went back I learned a little more. One day "Nina" guessing is the store manager decided to tell me I can't combine my manufacturer coupons with $5 gift card deals they had going on. I asked to ask as many questions as I could to understand why, but she kept cutting me off and letting me know target was no longer combining "sales". I tried to explain to her that a manufacturer coupon is not a sale because they get reimbursed and the $5 deal is when you buy multiples, who wants the same 4 items if they're not saving money on it? She continued to tell me they were running out of items to sell. Um ok? Is that not the point of a store? To sell items? Why have a giftcard deal if you're not expecting much to sale out?? Anyway that same day I shopped at another target and paid close attention to my transaction. I paid almost $250 after coupons, $73 is what I saved in manufacturer coupons, $9 in cartwheel app and $4 in a target coupon. I only got $45 back in gift cards. So I called corporate. Who doesn't love target?! You can get anything and everything there. However, its sad how a lot of items have to be locked up and its annoying how you have to find an employee to get the item out, but it's all because stupid people can't afford items that are not even expensive. I like going to this location better than the one in Daly City, mainly because it isn't as crowded and you don't pay as high a tax on items. I can't stand large crowds or crowded and clogged isles, especially when I'm in a hurry to buy a few measly items. Overall though, I love Target and the deals you can sometimes get here, but stay away from the ones near major cities is my advice! read more

If you coupon, do not go to this store! Actually don't go there ever! The place is super dirty and all the workers are rude! Went there tonight and was trying to do a toothbrush deal that gave u $5 gift card after a purchase of 4. When I was handing the cashier the coupons, she told me that they have a new policy for coupons - you can either use the coupons or get the $5 gift card. But you can't do both. What in the world! Checked Targets coupon policy and it says nothing about that. Called another Target store and they said they don't know anything about that. So this is thee place I get my clothes, and add to my large collection of DVDs. The workers their are always helpful, no matter what. First off, I guess I should start off by saying that I LOVE TARGET! I usually visit this Target location whenever I'm back in town. The store is not as big as some of the other Targets I've been to in SoCal and the South/Midwest but it still offers a good variety of items to browse & choose from. Like most Targets nowadays, it has a grocery section with some fresh product as well as frozen goods. I must say that its still cheaper to buy certain grocery items at regular grocery stores but if you want a one stop shop then be my guest. I absolutely love how Target carries some of the hair & beauty brands that were traditionally only sold in specialty stores and of course they sell these items for cheaper. The video game section offers a lot more selection for the PS3 games than the local Walmart, which is always a plus for gamers like myself. And if you're anything like me, you'll end up staying in here for at least 1 hour and end up buying things that you didn't have listed on your shopping list. Their pharmacy's great. Used to have better purse and accessory selection, more clothing sizes, etc., but I've noticed since the econoslump they offer less of it; deleted a star. Only been bothered by one or two beggars who came up to the car but that was a year ago. It seems no problem now. It's Target...nothing special. Parking lot is usually full but not too full...the store itself is clean and pleasant.....the lines seem to take awhile...Most of the time it's fully stocked. I make it a point to visit every tuesday to see what new DVDs have come out. They usually have pretty good deals on different items from week to week so you should check out the sunday ads to see what's on sale for that week. read more

After two previous attempts to return an item at this Target, I suggested we stop by and return the item. There was no one in line. My wife stood in line which is at the front of the store. Another lady making regular purchases stood just behind my wife. The cashier proceeded to say I could help the next person, which the lady behind proceeded to push the cart to the counter. No acknowledgement that my wife was there first. My wife voiced her displeasure. I offered to return the item. During the interaction with the line cutting customer, the cashier proceeded to pitch a Target card, then replied, "I need to make my quota tonight." The other customer needed to wait for something, so the cashier reluctantly said she could take me. She kept scanning the receipt and the item which wouldn't scan. She picked up the item scanned it and slammed the item on the counter. The cashier then pulls out the bills slowly but intentional trying to make a point she is not happy. The whole interaction was very condescending. I have managed customer service teams for many years. This individual forgot the fundamental rule, it is always about the customer and never about yourself. I never thought twice about going to Target, but after this poor display of customer service, I would prefer to pay a premium for better service. Only one name stands out there "BETTY" awesome customer service. Clean store, always helpful so why do I rate them low because of their pharmacy. Once was given someone elses medicine, they have used non pharmacy staff to help out that don't know what they do. The other department is their veggies, always weak and over priced. Wow!!! The Fairfield Target Store needs some customer service training. I called the store at 9:00 a.m. (1-hour after they opened) and went through the normal phone maze for the correct department, only to be placed on hold for over 7 minutes while the manager look for a phone number for tech support for a product I'd purchased there. Recommendation: Post all 3rd party phone numbers at all stations just in case a customer needs it. After calling for a 3rd time in less than 15-minutes, they finally gave me the number and apologized for the delay. Come on people, you can do better than that!
