I've always had great service at the Fairfield Target, but tonight I really want to acknowledge their exceptional employees. I lost my keys and wallet somewhere in the store and ended up sitting in the Starbucks area, stressed and unsure what to do next, especially with my phone at only 5%. An employee named Wyatt noticed I was upset and came over to ask if he could help. He was incredibly kind, he took my phone to their break room to charge it and searched through the carts while my daughter and I checked the aisles. He stopped by several times just to check on us. The woman working at Starbucks also came over after overhearing what happened and offered us a pastry to make the moment a little easier. I was genuinely touched by how willing complete strangers were to help us and brighten our experience in any way they could. Thankfully, a customer who overheard us found my keys and brought them over. To the customer who returned my keys, the Starbucks employee, and Wyatt, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Is Target is stealing from their customers? Has anyone else had this issue? I purchased 2 items from the Target website, but only 1 item of the 2 was in the box. I reached out to Target and filed a claim. They "investigated" the claim and denied it. Their take was they sent the package and they have a photo to prove it. I agreed that I received the package, but stated 1 of the 2 items was missing. It's only $30 but it's the principle of the matter. They just gave me the runaround for a bit, and then leaned into the package was delivered. They said I needed to file a police report and another claims with UPS so they can provide the actual weight of the package. It would be ridiculous to file a police report because I actually received an intact package. It was only 1 item that was missing, so I thought checking with UPS would be a good idea because if they actually check the weight of the packages, it would be underweight, proving an item was missing. But guess what, when I tried filing a claim with UPS, I received a message from UPS stating, "Unfortunately we cannot process your claim. The sender has restricted claims for this package. Please reach out to them directly for assistance." Talk about covering all your bases. This is clearly seems like THEFT BY TARGET. No wonder their stock has been going up lately. I stopped shopping here after the Dei thing, but my son doesn't understand and wanted to go so we went. So glad I stopped! It was messy like Ross and the customer was a joke! Wanted to treat my son to a video game, but no one was in the department. My mom had to flag someone down in the food section and she said she would get someone. No one came. I had to go to two different machines to alert someone. Then I ask the lady about their AirPods and she looked annoyed and said yea probably in the back and just ringing out of my stuff. I've never shopped on store at this Target location. I've only used drive up to pick up orders. The employees are always pleasant and quick with bringing out my order. I came in to pick up specific household cleaning supplies during my lunch break. I had a coupon on the app (can only use in store) and some Target circle earnings I forgot I had to save some dollas!! From what I can tell in the aisles I shopped in, the store is clean and well stocked. A good bit of the aisles have locked up items that you have to push a button for an employee. Luckily, none of my items I needed assistance to grab off a shelf. It wasnt very busy. I didn't wait long in self checkout to pay for my goods and head out into the blistering heat. I understand this location is usually targeted for theft. But locking up everything when you don't have the staffing to respond when someone needs help is ridiculous. I had to wait over 5 minutes both times I needed something out of the big boxes yesterday. It seems like the employees don't care that someone is waiting. I understand being busy but they're rude and have attitude when it was time to come open the boxes. It's not my fault yall locked up the stuff I need: deodorant of all things and a $8 phone charger. I love this target location. Very close to our house and staff are mostly approachable and helpful. Choices of products are not bad and availability as well is decent. Their pick up option is always on time and you dont wait for so long. Always well staffed and clean and well maintained inside. Glad to have a target nearby. She was friendly with all the people in front of her, and as soon as I got to her register she was extremely cold, and her attitude completely switched. This review is solely for my guys and girls working the drive up. I've never had to wait for more than ten minutes to pick up an order. The drive up is always seamless; whether it is in supreme cold weather or on a super hot day. The drive up team is always smiling, greets you and thanks you. Thanks drive up team for being A+. One cautious tip: Be careful to keep an eye out while waiting to make sure you don't mistakenly open your car for any crazies. This area of Fairfield is sadly a downhill battle. Anything to the right of the freeway is highly populated of drug users, with some having really erratic behaviors. Others can be suspiciously getting into criminal activity. Now when I go into a target I just go in there and get exactly what I need and walk out if I grab a big basket I'm spending too much money lol. Pretty nice location here except for the panhandling that takes place right outside the front door. I was able to come into this location and find exactly what I need was looking to pay for my purchase of an electronic item in the electronics department and then the young guy proceeded to tell me that he did not have his register key someone else did. So I still had to walk up to the front and check out up there. This location also offers curbside, parking lot pick up. Associates that I had to deal with were friendly and nice. This location is also back to charging for plastic bags. read more

My Son purchased visa gift card 100.00 for Mother's Day. I activated it but did not use it till yesterday balance 0.00. Transactions 100.00 at TARGET. It's a inside rip off. I ordered online and did a pick up at the closest store, it was a breeze! As you enter, the store is clean and organized. The lady at the counter was friendly and did her best searching for my order. I even got yo pay there for the other items I wanted from in store. Aside form my online order, I was able to buy other Christmas stocking suffers at a reasonable price. Zara in "Guest Services" (or lack thereof) is the most unprofessional, sarcastic, sorry excuse for a guest service clerk. she also made accusations that I was trying to commit return fraud. You have never seen someone return a pair of pants before? Didn't even ask for the card I paid for them with or offer any other kind of assistance. So on April 1st 2019 I went to Target and came home with product with mold on it. I expressed my frustration on Twitter in which their customer service messaged me with a gift card, not much of an apology but I said "I don't even want a gift card- I want change". This wasn't the first time I came home with expired product or found refrigerated product on dry food shelves and so forth, I've come across moldy Uncle Ben's Rice & bagels, luckily I caught it at the register before taking it home. But this time pushed me over the edge. But again, I told the rep I just want them to email the store and do something about it- change. I finally decided to shop there again for food. Upon turning down the chip aisle, passing an employee in the process, I came across some spinach IN THE CHIP AISLE. Come on people?! Negligent treatment of food- what people put in their BODY- is so bad. So so bad. If you can't take care of it, don't sell it. This Target NEEDS TO CHANGE. read more

Someone unpacked his suitcase at the hotel and realized that he'd brought five pairs of socks (for a three day trip?) and no shirts. Oops. I solved the problem with a quick run to this Target on the way out to dinner. This is a perfectly ordinary Target with the men's wear department at the usual size and with winter wear already marked down and on clearance. I like how right when I walk in Im already tempted to spend more than I intended because of their dollar deals. They have $1 snacks, agendas, planners, lotion, calendars, and hello kitty nicknacks. I luuurv how they expanded to a liteweight super target and added a grocery section. Almost everytime I come here my two faves are on sale: laughing cow cheese and Simply Raspberry lemonade..YuuUmm.
