This store Is poorly designed it doesn't make sense will have you walking around confused. Not to mention every time i go there they are out of stock and never have things in inventory. Gardeners out there, do you need a hoe? As a long time organic gardener, I go through lots of them. And here, they are cheap right now. As I write this, the Garden Department is closing, at ALL Targets and most items are about 30 per cent off. They also have Ergonomic, shovels with handles, hoses, hose storage cabinets, hand garden tools, and decorative fountains. The live plants are excluded for the moment, and I don't know if they're getting rid of those, too because they're NOT 30 per cent off. I'm hoping they'll start expanding their food line and have fresh produce, meats, and dairy with the closing of the gardening section. As much as I like Wal Mart prices, maybe Target can be their competitor. It'll be like Fed Mart all over again - the all in one store that many Targets replaced. Employees here are as friendly as most Targets. It's usually easy tracking down an employee for help. This Target, has some colorful employees. The one guy in the garden dept. wears 3 inch hollow earrings and lip piercings. A co worker had black hair streaked with red, and purple. They add color, like the flowers in their garden shop.. This Target store has been around forever and could probably use a face lift. There are newer and larger Targets nearby. But this is right off the 57 freeway and it's easy in and out. There are usually several cash registers available so there's usually not too long of a wait to get through the registers. But if you or your kid needs to use the bathroom, they have to travel all the way to the back of the store. This is not as big as other Targets, so they may not have the selection as they do in the larger stores. I was looking for some polo shirts and a poly wool blazer, and they didn't have my size. So, if something is on sale, go right away because if you wait, you're SOL (ship out of luck). I always end a shopping trip here with the popcorn and drink special...or a hot dog or pretzel to eat with a self serve drink. I remember back in the day when Target was the shiz. Like, if you were able to buy something from Target, you were one of the cool kids. But, with Kmart and Mervyn's gone, Target has had to up their ante a little bit, such as this location having a marketplace, complete with fruit, frozen goods, vegetables, breads, and other perishables. And, sometimes, the stuff ain't so bad. Other times, a little questionable, but people do shop here for the food, so Target must be doing something right. My anti-social self does like the self-checkout lines, though there is at least one store staffmember available if you run into an issue. I don't think you can purchase gift cards or alcohol in these self-checkout lines, though! Their furniture stuff isn't the best quality, and it is quite pricey for what it is. There seems to be a few deals once in awhile, but it still isn't as good of a price (or quality) as IKEA. Decorations (such as for Halloween or Christmas) are pretty cute, but they're more meant for a one-time use. This place was pretty rundown a few years ago, but I think they had a remodel and cleaned up a bit so that they do look better. The parking lot is still pretty bad, though, with tons of cracks and potholes. And there are sometimes a few suspicious wandering people around at night :/ read more

With my busy schedule a drive up cart pick up saves me each time! Unfortunately this time I was given the wrong product. It was a coffee appliance so it was a pricier pick up. I had to drive to this location which is farther away from me but it was the only one that had what I wanted in stock. I didn't notice till I got home that I was given the wrong one. I drove to a different target closer to my house but they couldn't help me and advised me to go back to the original one I made my purchase from. When I came back I was treated as an inconvenience and was given a lot of attitude when target was the one that gave me the wrong product to begin with. I was told the only thing they could do is refund me and I had to repurchase online myself since it was now out of stock in store. If you buy something online for "2 hour pickup" don't stop by 5 hours later expecting it to be ready. Then, when you do pick it up MAKE SURE to check the items you purchase. I love Target in general and live by three so I have my pick of the bunch. This location is just awful because they allow soliciting. While I was shopping a sales rep started following me around the store trying to get me to sign up for cell phone service with her company. When I finally got away from her just a few minutes later another rep was badgering me it this time for cable service. This is really not okay since I'm at Target and not shopping around for cable and internet service. It's unacceptable for this to be happening as I saw several other annoyed customers that were also getting the sales pitches. Let people shop in peace. Today my daughter and I stopped by this Target around 4pm to use a Target gift card my daughter won at a Christmas party to our disbelief the gift card had $0 balance. I went to customer service to see if they could help us since we had never used the card. The 3 young workers were not helpful what so ever. One young man kept saying over and over whoever gave me the gift card used it before they gave it to us. ‍ It was my sister who gave me us the gift card and she did not use it. She even text me her receipt for me to show him and I told him I believed it was fraud and he would not take responsibility and kept blaming my sister saying she used the card. This young man really needs to be trained in customer service because he had no clue how to handle the situation. I have been in customer service for over 20 years so I always respect anyone in that position but he was escalating the situation. My sister ended up calling corporate and is getting a new gift card sent to her. Moral of the story please look into better training for that young man I wished I would have seen his name. read more

Clean target, i came here in the morning. As i entered an employee was there to greet me which was perfect because i was in a rush and needed to know where the water section was. He guided me in the right direction! I always get (Market Pantry) brand since it always had 5% off on cartwheel app. The aisles were fully shelved and clean. Pros: * clean * friendly/helpful/patient/kind employees * easy to navigate * cartwheel MOST of the time has it 5% off! (I try to save as much as i can) * modernized lighting (feels better walking in, for me at least lol) * stocked/organized shelves, usually when i go to Walmart or so the chip aisle look like a hurricane has passed through Cons: * bathroom was meh, i went in and back out lol (it had a stench, like a unfortunate person using it) not to be mean but they need to restrict them and enforce customer only to avoid that.) * Didn't see too many employees as i was walking around (they need MORE!!) Wow! I actually decided to drive out to a different Target store with the recommendation from my mother. Our local Target usually doesn't have what I need or not much in stock. From the moment we walked in, every single associate we passed by greeted us and asked us if we needed any assistance. They definitely got the 10-5 rule down! I have been here once it the past and after the remodeling, it looks great. I love how everything is laid out through the store. They had so much stuff in stock and I wanted to buy so much clothes but didn't want my whole check to go to my favorite store. Went here for a quick item on my way home. Huge parking lot, so no problem there. Also arriving 30-minutes​ before closing doesn't usually pose a problem. Just needed some mouth wash and it was easy to find. Signage in the store made it easy to figure out which way to go. You'd think that all the Targets would have the same floor plan. I guess not. Found the mouth wash, looked at the wide variety they had, and scanned almost everyone with the Cartwheel App. You gotta look for the deals, right? Found a $2 coupon and went with that one. I normally love this target, however I have been frustrated the last couple times that I have went. I received a merchandise (store credit) card that I have been trying to use every time I come here, however every time I come to the register to check out, I let the cashier know that I have this card that I would like to use to apply to my total, and every single time the cashier either forgets or just tells me to use it next time? The cashier I just had was a young boy and I told him ahead of time to scan the card before he scans my app, and he did not listen and just told me to use it next time, so you can understand how frustrating this is, considering that I have been trying to use this store credit card for the third time now. This Target has gone down hill. Walked in today to do some shopping and only at checkout does someone tell the customers that the credit debit card system is down. No one could say when the system would be up. In addition, the store is a mess. Empty shelves, staff who are clueless if you ask for assistance. There were no registers open so I went through self checkout. There was ONE employee there and she decided to watch me scan everything. When I was about to pay she asked me why I had the shopping cart (I had three pillows and some bedding). When I started to put my card in, she accused me of not scanning everything. I showed her everything in my cart and she insisted on voiding the transaction and making me do it again. At this point there was a line. After she watched AGAIN, she said something was missing and insisted on voiding the order again to ring it up at the register. I told her I was embarrassed and it was going to be the same amount so why is she doing that and her response was "guess we will see". At that point I just left everything there and walked out. It's a 3 because it hardly offers much variety. The staff doesn't really care much. For instance, I was carrying milk, a gift card, a birthday card, and my fussy sleepy 1 year old. Did self- checkout and my gift card slipped out the bday card i bought (no i didn't buy a bag- i know, dummy move). So i go back in, inform customer service and the manager goes to the back to review the tapes. After awhile, she comes back and tells me, "Okay I reviewed and good thing is you did not lose it. It shows it fell. Bad news is the person behind you took it. So, yeah...... sorry ....." furthermore, after going back and forth awhile, she said I had no other option but to buy a new one. Luckily for me, I knew Target had to have better remedies than telling someone they're SOL. I had looked at three back of the new gift card andre saw a phone #, called it once i got home, explained the problem, they asked fir my receipt # of the one that was stolen, deactivated it and rushed me a new gift card that arrived about 7 days later to my home address. THIS is why it deserves a 3 because their customer service is pretty much like this. Can't even price match at self checkout like all the other targets. I live across from this Target and I'll still drive my ass to the one in Brea. Why? Customer Service and their in stock variety. The ONLY time I shop here, is when I need my Rizos Curly hair products or other hair brand options. This is your place for that. read more

Not my first location choice to go shopping, but since I was across the parking lot at Honda-Ya Japanese restaurant, it was more of a convenience, than preference. This Target is located about a half mile from Cal State University, Fullerton, so there's a lot of young 20 something's shopping here. It's also not the biggest Target, so the variety isn't the best, especially the grocery section. Their bread and snack aisles have a decent variety, but clearly missing brands you would find at other locations. I do notice that this place has a lot of stuff on clearance. For example, about a quarter of the wine inventory was on the shelf with the red "clearance" tags. Same with the sportswear and casual wear for men and women. I guess since this location caters to mostly coed's, they try to make their dollar stretch more? Friendly cashiers but they seem to get side tracked when they start chatting with the customers. K, I wasn't gonna review this Target because I was giving them the benefit of the doubt...it's the Sunday before Christmas...that's why they're out of stock on a lot of items and everything in every aisle is tossed all over the place. But since we went to another Target 24 hours later and everything was pretty tidy considering it was Christmas Eve, I was very unimpressed with this Target. Come on people, get it together! For now I'm lowering my review. Recently it seems like a lack of care is going into this location. The carts are almost empty all the time, the ones that are still available are cracked, full of trash or just downright dirty. We mentioned this to an employee and he just shrugged it off said he was on break and so is the cart guy so nothing he could do. Nice, great service. Also though there stock on food has been spotty and lots of dented cans, broken product once you get it. Just seems like management is letting this place go. read more

To begin, Target is my favorite store to shop at. I have never had a bad experience here. However, after visiting the Yorba linda location, that statement is no longer true. If I had the option to rate this Target "0" stars, I would! This is BY FAR the worst target I have ever gone to. It is the most messiest, unorganized, and unappealing store EVER. Before I decided to write this review, I wanted to see if I was the only one that felt this way...as expected, I was not the only one. Turns out that people have been complaining about the uncleanliness since 2016!!! How could corporate ever allow such thing? I could understand if one department was messy because of short staff maybe, but the WHOLE store was messy (except electronics). Awful experience. Once again this target is the worst target and continues to prove itself. This evening I walked in at 7:50 did as I always do headed to Starbucks but Starbucks was closed. Online it says they're open till 9, but they decided to close at 8 starting from about 6 months ago, but they didn't tell their patrons. Also and this is my favorite part the employee told me "they closed early cause sometimes they feel like it. " I swear on all I hold dear this is true. WOW. Amendment: as I was leaving I said shoot I forgot to get ice and the lines were long, a young woman named jade offered to ring me up real quick and really made me feel like a welcome customer.
