Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful service. The older, short woman with glasses displayed a complete lack of professionalism and customer service skills. She was openly disrespectful to multiple customers, yelling across the store and aggressively forcing everyone to leave at 9:58 PM, prior to the stated closing time. Additionally, her behavior toward employees was equally concerning, as she spoke to them in a rude and demeaning manner in front of customers. This type of conduct reflects poorly on store management and creates an uncomfortable environment for both customers and staff. I strongly recommend that upper management review this situation, as this level of disrespect and unprofessional behavior should not be acceptable in a customer-facing leadership role. read more

For instance, if the total is $5.22, and the change amounts to 78 cents, the cashier should, if there are no pennies in the till, hand the customer three quarters and a nickel (80 cents), not just three quarters (75 cents); it is the customer's money, not the store's . By far one of the nicest dollar tree locations I have been to. First, I don't have to cross over any homeless people to get to the store like I did for the Anaheim locations I have been to. Given I have to come to the dollar store for craft supplies for work, I prefer coming to a clean, organized and well lit store and this location is it. The associates are always friendly and helpful and they have things other locations do not. It's super convenient for me on my way to and from work so love that too! I came here for shower caps after seeing a TikTok about using them to cover the bottom of your shoes for travel. There's additional parking north of the store if you can't find spots out front. This store is every clean and organized. I went back to find cupcake liners, found those and found the cake mix I needed as well as a tall can of Cherry Coke which is a rare find. read more

First time at this location but I love almost all dollar trees. This location is kind of sketchy and does not appear to be in a good area. Parking is very compact in a busy plaza. The store front is dirty in appearance and the organization of the store is lacking. Store employees don't seem overly eager to help. There is however a good amount of new Knick knacks ever since they increased their prices. Neat finds. As always, I go in for one item and end up $40 bucks in the negative after a 20mins visit. I live on campus at CSUF and I love coming here for supplies that are friendly on my student-wallet. Especially for snacks and drinks or even decor for a reasonable price; now that our favorite store "99 cents store," is no longer with us. I don't believe every dollar tree carries the same items since this location has always carried items I wouldn't imagine should be only a dollar!! Located inside a shopping center with Smart N final and Office Depot. Private lot but can get busy with the small eateries near by. When it comes to school supplies/craft items I shop mainly at this location. I have found items I both love and items that I probably wouldn't get again. Anything I see in a YouTube video about the dollar tree haul is found on the end caps of the aisles near the register. I have purchased all my cleaning supplies here and party supplies. The kitchen wear has lasted me for 2yrs and still working like brand new. The floral section is always fully stocked with a variety of different flowers. Only thing I don't like here is there's always a long line with only 1 register open. read more

I had a very unfortunate experience at the Dollar tree in Fullerton California on State college and Chapman this afternoon. I was standing in line and the male employee opened up a register and asked us to come over to his line. After getting in that line and getting my products onto the counter the closed sign was still on there and he didn't say he was just helping one person he just blurted out I guess some people don't know how to read. He should have just said I'm just going to help one customer and you guys stand in the other line and that would have been fine, but he wanted to be a smart alec and he blurted out that ridiculous little statement he made about some people not knowing how to read. After having words with that idiot he threatened to fight me in the parking lot and he said he will go ahead and punch out of his register so he can come out and fight. I told him the only thing that will get punched out is him. I will never go back to a place that threatens customers!! He's a danger to the public and should be fired immediately!! I know good help it's hard to find but damn they can do better than that!! read more

I have a serious obsession with Dollar Tree stores. I love them! I had a little extra time to kill yesterday - so I came here. I was looking for a specific small pink container, and the one in Mission Viejo did not have any. This location did, so I was super happy. They had really cute things for gardens, that I got for my patio... lots of butterfly things, and just super cute items. This store was REALLY clean, and really big compared to the one I usually shop at. I am in this area usually every two weeks and it will probably become part of my routine while up there, woo hoo! read more

Last time I went, the cashier was very nice, I believe his name was Joey? He is a taller, skinnier, gentleman that seems very happy and serious with his job. The manager here is so rude. I was told one thing from a employee there. I told her she needs to let all the employees know the rules there she proceeded to cut me off. I asked her to let me finish talking and she was disgusting rude to me. I told her I don't know the persons name I spoke with but that she needs to let everyone know the rules. I predict this store will soon be on the regular shopping list of every CSUF student before too long. Heck for poor CSUF students in love, this might even be a cheap date night. And bargain hunters, even working non students like me, this is a good find. This store just opened the day before CSUF had its first day of school. And yup, everything is a dollar or less. It should be a great competition for the 99 cents only store and Big Lots across the street. This store is so new that you can whiff the aroma of formaldehye outgassing from the brand new carpets. Yes, it can make you sick, but if the employees aren't minding it, it should be okay for the rest of us. The floors are in great shape, and aisles are well stocked. It'll look like he!! during busy times, but they really do a nice job of housekeeping in all their stores. The only negative for me is that it's in a very crowded shopping center just a block from the school. It's in the same complex as highly traversed Panera Bread, Office Max, Smart and Final, and some fast food joints like Burger Kink (er King) and KFC. Lunchtime is "I will kill for a packing space" time around here. Thanfully, I got here at 11:15 before the lunch crowd, and it was no problem then. I bought the following: - 2 pot holders, similar to the one I got from Target ar $10 each though not as thick and heat resistant - Generic after shower powder which has cooling menthol; the name brand equivalent as $6.00. - Quart of epsom salts, great for tired aching feet, about $4 at Alberson's - Generic heartburn relief ranitidine, active ingredient in Zantac, 10 tables, about $8 at drug stores - Some push pins, about $2.00 at Staples - An 8 pack of retractable pens. The way I lose pens, if they write for a few days, I still come out OK. They also have some frozen foods, cookies, sodas, etc. They don't have fresh produce or perishables like mild and eggs, like at 99 cents only stores, though. Hope they stay around, and hope to be back. A lot of people tell me this is their favorite discount store. read more

I came here after eating at Pieology. This has got to be one of the cleanest, most organized Dollar Trees I've been to. OK, I'm not an expert at Dollar Tree, but I do love to browse through them, and get stuff like stationary, party supplies, gift bags and such. The place is very open, and they have a lot of carts. The few that I've been to have 2 or 3 carts, its cramp, and cluttered, like the one at the Orangefair Shopping plaza in Anaheim/ Fullerton off the 91 and Lemon. I found some hangers for my skirts and picked up 2. Pretty much I just came to check it out, and found it a pleasant experience. read more

LITERALLY THE B E S T DOLLAR TREE EVER! I live on the west side of Fullerton. Anytime I need something crafty, I head over to Dollar Tree because I can usually find it there rather than Michaels for a lot less. I happened to stumble upon this while picking up some printed invitations at the Office Max right next door. I was in need of some fish bowls for center pieces in an upcoming birthday party for my little one. I walk in & instantly fell in love. Everything is SO organized! Usually, the one on Harbor & Orangethorpe is oozing chaos & is super messy. The one on La Palma near the Buena Park Mall is a tad bit better than the Fullerton one but it's still so messy & that location is relatively small. This one blew me with it's organization & inventory compared to the others on the vicinity. Lynette I believe was her name, was super sweet & super attentive! Dollar Trees need more employees like her. At other locations, I literally can feel their dislike for their job. I will definitely go out of my way for this location. read more

Assistant manager Jacqueline created a very awkward, customer unfriendly situation then made it way worse by being dismissive and condescending when a customer tried to point it out to her. We come here all the time and were disappointed to have an experience so off putting. Jacqueline had ample opportunity to correct the situation but was like "buh bye" I don't want to hear it. It's a Dollar Tree. It is pretty big and has a wider selection of their dollar items than the branch in Mission Viejo. There were not enough cashiers, so we ended up waiting in the line for a really long time. There seemed to be another cashier open but their light wasn't on so going there was rather ambiguous. The cashier that checked us out was nice to us, though. But it just took a lot of time to complete. read more

According to them upper management only schedules 2-3 employees at a time no matter how busy it gets. Either way they need to get it together! I feel like such a bonehead for buying "cute" and more than expensive wrapping paper, tissue paper and that kind of crap from other stores. There have been times where I have sunk a pretty penny into make the wrapping of the gift exceptional only not to be noticed, needless to say that is just my fault for wasting money on that stuff. I will go here from now one to pick up my gift wrap, tissue paper needs and they even have $1 Mylar bday balloons. I could kick myself for wasting so much money but hey that is all in the past. 2nd time in a row that I have been disappointed. 11/29 they had a line of over 6 people and when back up was called for no one came. Then their employees are not approved to accept $100 bills and a manager needs to approve them. So because their lines are not bad enough they stop everything just to approve money. Today 11/30 the cashier had the customer in front of me go do her own price check! Are we customers or employees??? Once again the whole line was stopped. Are these really your procedures? There were other employees on the floor, why were they not called for a price check? Why when the manager came to approve the money and saw the line did she not open a register? I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the nicest Dollar Tree I have ever been to... ever. :P PROS 1. Clean, neat, and organized - Right when you walk in, you can see signs above the aisles telling you where to find things - No cluttered bins or crazy stacks of things, just ridiculously organized shelves - You won't likely see things on the floor. It's that tidy. - One corner has a very organized basket dispenser/stack 2. Big store, large selection - Awesome for school supplies or arts & crafts (the good stuff too, like plastic sheet protectors) - You can even grab groceries here! CONS - Dude, it's SO QUIET. No music, just silence. It was weird to me at first but it's not really a big deal haha - Groceries are limited (compared to the 99 Cents Only store across the street) VERDICT This Dollar Tree is awesomesauce. Clean & organized with a huge selection of stuff. It seriously feels more like a department store than a typical dollar store. I highly recommend checking it out! :] read more
