I am NOT the type to give a bad review, especially for a small, woman-owned business. However, my mom and I had the craziest experience here yesterday and upon reading other 1 star reviews I see we're not alone. We had a reservation to have lunch with some friends at 11:00, and got to Flower Allie around 10:35ish to get them some flowers. A young woman initially helped us and she was AMAZING. If I could give 5 stars just to her, I would. I told her I wasn't sure how this worked (I usually just pick up bouquets from the grocery store) and she was so helpful, explained the pricing, asked how much I wanted to spend, etc. My mom on the other hand just wanted 4 single roses and again this young woman was extremely helpful, giving her all of the color choices, etc. She took both of our payments, then went back to make the bouquets. This whole time we could hear someone else in back being very loud and obnoxious. At one point I heard her say, "This is Allison...", so I assumed she was on the phone and annoyed at a vendor or something. When our gal went back to make our bouquets Allison was EXTREMELY rude and disrespectful to her, we could NOT believe it. She brought her out to where we were standing and said, "We're going to role play right now. You be her [pointing at my mom] and I'll be you." She did not acknowledge us at ALL, for example - sorry, she's in training - or something... it still would have been inappropriate to do in front of us but at least it would be an explanation. The entire time they were making our bouquets Allison was so rude and disrespectful to our gal (I wish I'd gotten her name!), telling her "resist the urge to go to the register!!!", "do it like I'm doing it!", etc - again she NEVER acknowledged us. My mom and I were just looking at each other in shock. We almost said something to Allison but were afraid that would get our gal in even more trouble. We told her how much she'd helped us and how wonderful she was in a loud voice and she somehow kept it together to be polite and just as wonderful to us throughout. I told my mom I would have cried if my boss did that to me in front of customers, it was absolutely uncalled for. My mom has used Flower Allie MANY times in the past and will never go back. I hope the young woman who helped us walked out and gets a new job, she did NOT deserve that. By the way we ended up late to our lunch reservation because this took so long and as I've mentioned - Allison NEVER acknowledged us or cared at all if we had somewhere to be. read more

Unpleasant experience on the phone with Flower Allie. I asked for a quote for photo backdrop, sweetheart backdrop, and ceiling installation (she doesn't do ceiling installations btw) for my wedding. I told her I have a family friend that might do my centerpieces. She said they won't do just the photo backdrop and sweetheart backdrop. I understood, so I asked for a quote to include the centerpieces as well. She immediately shut me down and said that I'm not a good fit for them. I ordered a flower arrangement and it looks absolutely nothing like the picture from their website. I went into the shop to speak with a manager to try to rectify the problem and I was told she was unavailable so I left a message with the young lady there, Jenny, and I sent her a picture of the arrangement I received. She said somebody would be in touch with me soon. Several days went by and nobody had contacted me. I called the shop and spoke to Sam. I was told they wanted a video of the arrangement which I sent. I never heard from anybody. I filed a dispute with my bank and was reimbursed the $96 I paid. If you order from the shop don't expect to receive what you see on their website. All you'll get is a bunch of wilted flowers and ferns stuck in the vase to take up space. Below is a picture of the arrangement advertised on their website and a picture of what was received.
