Just making sure I went to the correct Target. This one is located in Glen Allen. Right. Not sure why other reviewers had such challenging experiences. Ok. I was here to browse at first, because I love to shop at Target Stores. Being on vacation from Houston Texas, I didn't think of anything. This one is much better than back home. Yeah. Restroom was clean, functional and modern. Long lines on weekends is expected. I saw the self-checkout line diminished quickly as more cashiers became available. Employees I encountered were friendly and knowledgeable. I noticed that summer clothes were on clearance (earlier than in Texas). I bought a pair of clearance shorts that I was waiting for the price to drop. Perfect! read more

Why does anyone go to Target?! I agree customer service beats Walmart hands down but they never have anything. The shelves are bare even when there isn't a pandemic. Seriously, which big name department store runs out of items not needed for every day use? Although, they sometimes have great little hidden sales they aren't consistent. Lord forbid you have a price match, they aren't honored there. Unfortunately, it's the closest CVS to me that accepts my insurance, but they close so early I often have to pick up from another location. I also find that they're poorly organized, and even the employees can't locate some of the items. I do love Targets attempt at being socially conscious and supportive of community. read more

Below average Target. Employees are nice enough. Store seems clean. Stock can run low at times. There's almost never enough registers open, so lines are generally a requirement. The Starbucks is always slow -- usually have to wait for an employee to show up. And then there's the bathrooms... I have emailed the store repeatedly about the dysfunction in the women's bathroom. Missing coat hooks. Non-functioning locks. Melted and discolored (cigarettes?) seats. General cleanliness. The bathrooms can sometimes be so dirty that I just use sanitizer and skip washing my hands. On the plus side, the drive up service has been fairly quick. I very much recommend buying in the app and using drive up to avoid the store. IMHO, it's not my favorite Target, but it's a Target .. and it's still better than big blue. read more

This Target has pros and cons. The lines were fast, the employees were friendly, and the store was pretty tame on a Wednesday evening. So, what are the cons? -Disappointing displays -Inaccurate inventory on the app -Not well stocked Maybe they didn't quite have enough employees working on this particular day because the displays were a hot mess. Stuff was here, there, and everywhere. Their inventory was also extremely picked over. On top of that, I'd look something up on the app and it would say "out of stock", but I'd be staring right at it. We also had some issues at the register with items not ringing up for their sale prices. Despite these issues, it's still Target, so I can't give any less than 3 stars! read more

This is now the closes Target by me. It's decent and has my stuff...if I check ahead of time. But my heart still belongs to the Target on Staples Mill (Sorry!). The selection and size is just a lot larger on Staples Mill. I came here to get some bookshelves for the new house and they didn't have enough. They told me to check online to make sure ahead of time, so from then on out, I'll be checking before going in to get anything big. I will say that this Target has saved my butt when I needed to get some Newborn diapers when we were down to the very last one. Talk about a poopy lifesaver! I do like that there is a Target closer to me and in the VCC center, it does help when I'm venturing out. Everyone knows it's not a true shopping adventure if Target isn't involved! I go here when I visit my friends Elizabeth and Josh, I always forget vital things. I think I do this so I can go to Target. I gave this Target four stars because they invariably have things hidden from me and I have to find someone to help me and that isn't always easy. All Targets are the same, I shouldn't have this issue. When I ask for help it shouldn't be such a burden. I also take my god children here and let them pick out toys (tons and tons of stuff, all the stuff all the time) so I didn't appreciate twice getting judgy comments. However, it's a thoroughly decent Target with an acceptable selection. read more

This Target gets a solid three starts. Nothing wowing about it. I went yesterday to return something and shop with my daughter. They had a long line to return items and only one person working the registers. That was annoying. Finally someone came up to assist to make the line moving. They never have enough cashier lines open. I love the self check out, but when you have a child with you, it's easier to let someone else check you out. The cashier that I used had her light off and was nice enough to take me, but people kept lining up behind me because the three other lines were super backed up also. They had what I needed but need to have more staff working registers. read more

I really like Target. They are consistent, convenient, and usually have a good variety of styles and selections on various items that I like to buy. This particular location has plenty of parking and will definitely meet your expectations of a standard Target. read more

Once upon a time Target was the best at customer service. That was years ago. There was a time when cashiers would be standing waiting to ring up your purchase. Very few long lines and employees on the floor to assist with anything you needed. Now there a few cashiers, long check lines and no one to assist with the different departments. I had a rep in Electronics activate my cell phone. He barely showed interest in doing that. He ended up choosing a 757 number and when I questioned it he said the set up chooses a random number and it couldnt be chosen. Instead of arguing with him I later called Verizon and got a rep there to help me select a number in my area code 804. It is sad to see Target go in the direction of it's competition and disregard the customer and the brand that we all grew to love and respect. I use to shop here weekly and now I go elsewhere. I am sure they won't change back to the old Target that had me as a dedicated customer, but I hope for improvement from it's current self. read more

I'm a fan of this Target, not only for the location, but also for the items available. Contrary to popular belief, not all Targets are created equal, and this one is definitely one of the better ones in my opinion. While that's a great thing in terms of helping me leave with everything I need (and then some), it's a horrible thing for my wallet. The selection of items is always pretty stellar, and the shelves don't seem as picked through as some of the other Targets in town. I've also found the staff to be particularly helpful at this Target; everyone always seems so friendly and happy to answer questions or help customers locate items. It's rare that I make a trip out to this shopping area without hitting up this Targ while I'm there. read more

I love coming to this store to shop. But every time I come in and grab lunch and eat in their cafe area,there are ants everywhere. The past few time I have eaten there there are ants,on the table,in the chairs and on the walls. The employees need to clean the area throughly even if it's a few times a day. read more

so my tv that i purchased 2/17/15 just died but i have warranty yay what a joke and then the store manger no help warranty company wants to take a month so i call call customer service corporate and that was and even bigger joke why by electronics there and extended warranty to only find out u wasted your money i will never shop there again unless to by toilet paper because corporate only offered a gift card worth enough for tp so beware of what u buy there please because at the end of it all no tv but heres a gift card for toilet paper not tv replacement and believe me my six year old really understands it will be a month without her shows and cable bill will still come but does target care NO so i bought a tv and a joke of a warranty from them so beware of target they dont care aslong as they have your money ( one star because i couldnt go negative stars) read more

Customer service. They don't know what that means. If you're handicapped do not come here, they have 3 carts early in the morning. They're all dead, they're not even plugged in, the employees don't give a damn if you want to shop here or not, if handicapped. I went to walmart, I will not come here again.
