I got assistance from 2 employees here. Needed help opening a locked item on a shelf and taking off the security tag off my razors. I spoke to both, thanked them and neither of them said a word to me. Neither of them. They didn't look me in the eyes, nothing, not a "you're welcome" a smile, NOTHING. What on earth?! I've never been treated like that before at a store. 2 separate employees?! Do they have a no talking to customers rule I'm so bewildered. They acted as though I was bothering them. One star solely for the security here. Earlier this evening there was a zombie looking chick, no shoes, beer bottle in hand trying to start a car a few parking spots away from me.. she was outside on the passenger side leaning over trying to start it while the alarm had been going off for a solid chunk of time. She started staring me down, I got very uncomfortable and called the cops as it clearly looked like she was breaking into it and not in any sort of sobriety or state of mind... went inside the store after and noticed she walked in after me. Again, I felt real uncomfortable now so I thought maybe a good idea to mention to the security guy who LITERALLY LAUGHED IN MY FACE. Shame on you Target, so unacceptable and disappointing. This store definitely does not invite browsing. It also has a bigger cosmetic department but lacks other stuff. They stock a lot of higher end detergent but not the more budget Tide, for example. Same for off brand pain meds etc, they prefer stocking full price name brand. The fresh produce is horrendous, the bread not fresh. Keep going to Trader Joe's. The check out is mostly self check out which can be annoying if you are buying alcohol or have razors that needs unlocking. Overall a good addition to the neighborhood, just does not invite browsing and a lot more name brands. read more

This Target recently opened so I wanted to stop in and see what they offered since it's a pretty small location. They seemed to have a small selection of everything any "normal" sized target would have. I was impressed with the functionality and ability to achieve a well-rounded store with a smaller space. I wasn't sure to expect any groceries or perhaps lack of clothing or cosmetics (thinking they would do one or the other) but they nailed it. Lots of self checkout that keeps the payment line moving and the staff was friendly too. I've already been twice; I'll be back. I definitely recommend! read more

I was shook when I saw their shiny red logo from Beach Blvd. This location is about 1/4th the size of your typical Target and carries all the basics. You'll find a minimized clothing section, grocery area, skin-care/health and wellness, home items and electronics. Pretty much all the essentials you'll need for the perfect beach day! For the caffeine addicts, there's also a on-site friendly neighborhood Starbucks for your next fix. Overall this is a great addition to Beach Blvd and the perfect one-stop-shop before hitting the sand. read more

This is a new mini-Target. There are lot's of Mini-Targets in Los Angeles City because there is no land space to build a large Target or it's too expensive. This Target has all the essentials and more. They try to figure out what people buy the most and stock it here. It saves time shopping in this Mini-Target because you don't have to walk 10 miles in the large Target to get toilet paper. It's also not close to any major highway like the 405 so the Riff-Raff won't find it. It's hidden in a small shopping center next to a CVS. It's a very pleasant shopping experience here. Check it out but don't come here and complain there is no patio or automotive section! It's a Mini-Target dam it! read more

I recently visited the smaller format "neighborhood" Target store at 19041 Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach. That retail space used to be occupied by Stein Mart. The decision to place a Target here surprised me. After all, there's a traditional, full-sized Target an eight-minute drive away (also on Beach Boulevard--although technically in Westminster). I like the smaller format store. It's easier to get in and out of the store (parking). The smaller square footage is easier to navigate; and it requires that the store stock the basics, and seasonal items that turn over quickly. I like the layout of this store in particular. This location has three traditional checkout "lines" with human cashiers, and three times as many self-checkout stations. All in all, it's a nice addition option to have. read more

For a snack, I liked the chewy Chips Ahoy cookies made with Reese's peanut butter cups. I went here to use a $5 coupon I got in the mail. If you're shopping for a family and using over four bags , I don't think this is a good store for weekly groceries (limited selection, I couldn't find bay leaves). If you want to buy alcohol, you might have to purchase the item individually at the customer service/exchanges register. Otherwise it's all self-checkout which is an overwhelming experience if you spend over $200 on food. read more

Small store but very clean, organized, stocked. Not a chaotic parking lot and not chaotic inside. The employees are always helpful and kind. Great customer service each time. Very relaxed and smooth process even during the holidays. They also have drive up/curbside pick up so if you don't want to go inside they can bring your items to you. read more

this target employee , wanna-be loss prevention lady proceeded to come flying out the back room to scream " YOU GUYS ARE NOT SCANNING EVERYTHING & YOUR DOG PISSED ON OUR FLOOR " mind you guys , we had one autistic toddler , a handicap woman in a wheel chair ( my mother in law ) & 3 other children with us , we were concerned about our dog peeing on the floor & kept asking the employees if they needed us to help clean up our dog's pee and we were nowhere close to being done with scanning everything . she printed out the slip and proceeded to ask us what was scanned and what was not , like mam , you came flying out the security room with your accusations so you check. she checked and looked dumb as shit when it was one pair of 7.99$ earrings that was not scanned but again , WE WERE NOWHERE NEAR SCANNING everything like we told her then she told us to shut up and then said she was sorry and ran back inside her room and came back out to say we were verbally trespassing now she's HBPD too apparently . TARGET ; do better with your hiring because yall hiring people with NO customer service skills & people like miss cecelia here who's confused about what role she plays ... top flight security , HBPD , loss prevention , regular cash register works . sad sad sad ! read more

I usually love this Target. We shop here very often. My experience tonight was enough to make me not want to shop there again. I placed a small pickup order at 3:35pm. I placed a second order for one case of water at 4:50pm since the app says if I forgot something order now and they'll deliver them at the same time. When I picked up my first order at 5:00pm, the associate said she sees my order for the water and that someone was shopping for it now and it shouldn't be long. I thanked her and said I was trying to avoid taking my toddler in the store. I assumed she would relay that I was waiting in the parking lot to the shopper, especially since the order was so small and she knew I had a young child with me. This obviously did not happen because, 40 minutes later, my order still wasn't ready. I asked another drive up associate about an approximate time and she said I could go inside and pick it up. My toddler was screaming at this point and I finally gave up and left. I didn't expect my second order to be ready right when I picked up my first one but 40 minutes when they knew I was in the parking lot and waiting on a one item order was ridiculous. If they aren't going to deliver the orders at the same time, (or much closer together than this) that shouldn't be what they advertise on the app. I could understand the delay if the pickup service was extremely busy but in the time that I was sitting in the parking lot, there were 3 other orders picked up. Not even enough to fill all the spaces. This was totally unacceptable customer service and definitely sub-par for what I had come to expect of Target. read more

Stopped here to get three sweatshirts and use the restroom. They had very few clothes to pick from at all and have eliminated most of their public restrooms. In fact when we went to use the restroom a grumpy employee told me they were closed for the rest of the night. It was only 5 pm. There remodel seems to leave the store with limited room to put inventory on the floor. What a waste of a trip. read more

I was so excited when I learned that a Target store was going to open right down the street! Then I was so disappointed when I actually visited for the first time. The store is so small, they don't carry anything but the very basics, and I can't find some of the items I generally purchase at the larger Target stores. Even though this store is in walking distance, I still choose to drive 2 or 3 miles to the next nearest Target because this one is so limited. They only have self check out, so, if you pick up any form of alcohol, you have to stand in line at the return counter to get a real person to check out your purchase. Then, they have to find someone who is not a minor, to actually make the sale. Unfortunately, it's way too frustrating to shop at this little dinky store. Part of the fun of visiting a Target store is checking out the aisles for new and fun seasonal stuff, etc. Nothing like that at this little tiny store. Good idea, but terrible execution. read more

Beware of this store!!!! Do not purchase gift cards!! I never write reviews but customers should know.I purchased two $100 gift cards at this store on 6/1/22 for my sick mother to use.She went to use them a week later and found out ot was a zero balance.I went to the store to talk to the General Manager (Sarah) about what could have happened.She was very nice and helpful. She said to check on the gift card site and gave me a number to call. I called the number and the person told me that it was used 6/2/22 at another Target store."What"!! I said..I went back to talk to her and said it must be an inside job. How is it possible that the only people who had the card number was me and that store? She basically said call the corporate number. I called and got transferred everywhere. When I finally got ahold of an operator, she didn't seem concerned and told me to fill out paperwork which the process takes 60 days ot so. .... Long story short, it seems that Target could care less about something like this happening in their own store. I live down the street and will never return.This Target just opened a few weeks ago.Just shocked that this didn't even faze anyone on either end. read more
