Drove in to buy a sympathy card the other night from Rosamond. I arrived at 9:50pm knowing very well the hours on the door are 8am-10pm daily. Doors were locked and I could not buy the card I needed. I had a terrible experience with a cashier named Evelyn at Target. When we first got to checkout, only one register light was on, meaning that was the only one open. Then, about 30 seconds later, Evelyn opened the next register and called for the next customers in line. Naturally, we moved over to be part of that line. After waiting a few minutes while she helped the customers in front of us, Evelyn suddenly turned off her register light, ignored us completely, and walked away to customer service to start a completely different task. She acted like she didn't even see us, even though we were standing right there, clearly next in line. It was blatantly rude and disrespectful. We had to tell another cashier what happened, and they kept apologizing, but this situation shouldn't have happened in the first place. If you're scheduled to work, at least do your job instead of making customers feel ignored and unwelcome. Extremely disappointing experience! read more

For a Target, this store is rather disappointing and unreliable. The parking lot is super dark at night, there is always panhandling happening near the entrance, every cart I have used is noisy and needs some sort of fixing, many areas of the store are low on stock or empty, and the entire place renders my iphone useless-- no reception at all, not even to text/call from iPhone to iPhone. I am not from this area, and I've only been here at night a couple times so I don't really know what the neighborhood looks like, but this location gives me a sad feeling, like this store has been neglected. read more

Rude staff, walked to customer service and was completely ignored by everyone who was laughing and giggling with each other. The "manager" or whatever she was supposed to be yells to another member "you have another pick up" without even acknowledging me STILL and ignores me continuously he scans my code that I already had pulled up (mind you no interaction at all still) and gets my order brings it to me and doesn't say a word. They gave me a defective Stanley cup with big scratches and dents all over had to walk back in and return it. Shitty service and they all act like children. Don't waste your time. Huge disappointment. I've been coming here for the past couple of years after moving to the area. Every time I go I've just been getting more and more fed up. 1. This store has NEVER recovered from COVID. Shelves are ALWAYS empty. It's like the red-headed step child of Targets. I've recently shopped at one of the Santa Clarita locations because I was in the area.. their shelves are literally busting at the seams. Super over stocked. Why should Lancaster location be any different?? Huge inconvenience and not appreciated. 2. Within a past few weeks they've installed cases for literally almost every toiletry. I'm not going to stand there and wait 5-10 minutes for someone to show up to open the case.. that is, if they ever do. Also, super weird to call someone over there to open it and stand there and wait while I smell every deodorant and shampoo until I find the one I want. Huge waste of time and very inefficient for target employees. 3. Today I was in the store and asked why the self checkout lanes were closed. The employee replied, "they're getting removed at the beginning of the month". WHAT?! I'm sorry but it was a huge convenience and went so much faster when I checked my own things out. Not to mention, after COVID I don't want anybody touching my things. This will no longer be possible. Now I'll have cashiers touching my stuff with their hands that have touched everyone else's stuff prior to mine. NO THANKS!! Target has almost lost me as a customer forever. Never had any issues with this Target in Palmdale, up until yesterday. I needed to return a pair of jeans. I did not get her name, but the black lady that worked at customer service was beyond rude. She asked if I would like the return to be back on my target card, for some reason I mistakenly thought she said "target gift card" and the way she said "yeah that would be the target card" came off sooooo rude. I knew soon as i went to her she had no personality, didn't smile this was not going to be pleasant experience. I've worked customer service and this is not it. This is the worst target I've ever been to. Everything is locked up but have no workers there to open them and don't even bother with the call buttons they have on some items it doesn't call anyone. Was in electronics for 20 mins and not a single worker in sight. Did the call button a million times and still nothing. Had to go all the way to their back doors and ask someone for help. Even when they were radioing the tech person they wouldn't answer the radio. And loiters harass you in the parking lot. This target is just awful better to just drive to Palmdale. read more

Ive been living in the AV area for about 7 months, and the first time I went to the Lancaster target, I was very blown away! At my old city, I had a couple targets that were around me, so I've been to a lot of targets. But this location, I was very disappointed. On my first trip to this target I was this person stealing and walking out like nothing!!!!! And once I went back again to target I would see the same thing, people just stealing. And that's when I notice that a lot of their items are locked up. I gave them a one star because they never have anything, everything is always empty. I hope this makes sense. I would like to compare this target to the one in Manhattan Beach, this would NEVER happen over there!!!! So I don't understand why this target is like this! I know for a fact that in MB the shelves would never be empty. They are always stocked up on everything. Now this store is always a mess, the kids section is always empty, and a mess. This location needs to do better. A lot of people shop here, so it would be nice to stock up, and clean up, and maybe have more security. Also, I went in looking for Krazy Glue and a certain dog food, and there wasn't any. For the glue the shelves were empty! And I checked my app before going, because on the app it said it was available. And they didn't have it. I went to Target for a quick in and out trip ended up filling my cart like all of us do... (who goes to Target for 1 thing?) I ended up finding some new things and when I went to use my digital App and coupons they wouldn't scan. Angelina Ingm (I believe that's her last name) credited me coupons and also helped me work the app a little. She IS THE DEFINITION OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Thank you Angelina for saving my wallet $6. Doesn't seem like a lot but every $ counts! Keep it up! The only down fall to this location is the very few check out windows. Very poor customer service especially this girl named Eileen (or aileen) from return and exchange/ order pick up department. I lined up to pick up my online order in the area that says order pick up (which i think makes sense). i called her attention asking for help and she replied I should line up on the return exchange area so I can see her better (WOW!) I let it pass... then she checked the system and she said the order was canceled because "probably" they are out of stock (without checking the inventory). Ok that's fine. I can find another item. I went to the baby section and I found the item. So I went to the counter again to make sure I get credit for the first item I got that got canceled and I asked for her name and with a nasty attitude and face she did say her name. What a shame to have this kind of employees! Eileen or Aileen Please be reminded .. you won't have a job without your customers. Least you can do is be a little helpful. I did the dreaded last-minute holiday shopping and ended up with a cart so full that I needed both hands to push it. I'm talking gifts, food, and half the store's alcohol. When looking for a checkout line I instantly felt for whoever had to help ring everything up, but my vibe must have been right because I had the kindest cashier ever. She was not only patient with my behemoth amount of stuff, but she even went the extra mile by thoughtfully folding the shirts I had purchased and packing everything neatly and strategically in my reusable bags. At the end she looked me in the eye and wished me a good day. I have never encountered a more awesome cashier (and I've met a lot!) Grateful for such a great shopping experience. read more

My wife and I ordered 2 bottles of dog shampoo online for pickup. That was at 4:30 today. Target said it would be ready at 8:30. I arrived at 8:25 and was told that the order wasn't ready and that it could be another 30 minutes. Since the store closed at 9, I figured it a safe bet that it wouldn't be ready until the next day. So, I went into the store, got what I needed, and went back to customer service. I asked that the order be cancelled since I had what I needed and it was already paid for. The response from both the representative and the manager was that I would have to pay for what I had in my hand then go home and cancel the order online. When I tried to do that, the Target website said that it was too late to cancel online!!! Is it any wonder that I buy most of what I need online retailers who make customer service a priority? read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the crazy amount of loitering by the obvious non-customers outside of this store and in the parking lot. They're almost always found drinking alcohol, smoking, apparently on drugs, etc. just sitting on the floor or wandering around the parking lot (lock your doors). Target charges a $1.00 bag fee ($.10 for 10 bags no exception) for online orders. Even though I only purchased one item online for curbside pickup. The Target apps says they'll refund any unused bag fee at the time of pickup. Customers should be given the option to decide if they want a bag or not, prior to checking out. Had I walked in the store I never would have been charged a bag fee in advance for something that I may or may not have used. This has got to be one of the most ridiculous unethical business practices that I've seen in awhile. (Other states don't even have a bag fee at all). Target please make it make sense because I'm clearly missing the logic. How about being more consumer friendly and less corporate convenient. Just saying read more

I have always really enjoyed going to target, but they renovated and upgraded and it's an even better experience now. The employees are so nice and check on you every now and then. The place looks cleaner and has more of a department store vibe on the clothing side of it. The shoe department (which has been a complaint for many in the past) has made HUGE improvements. I think they have employees check to make sure it's not a mess pretty regularly now. The food department is still kind of lacking. But everything else is really nice. Target has really distanced themselves from Walmart now. read more

I Plan to make this short and respectful. The service for my NaNa (My Grandmother) and I wasn't good at all. When we spoke to the pharmacist he never tended to our needs. He literally just pointed and said "Oh... you can try that aisle..." and when I said "Well I didn't see the product in that aisle... is there something else you can recommend close to the cream she needs?" He responded, "She can just take advil or Tylenol..." My NaNa is 85 years old... if she could JUST take those pills (on top of everything else) she would & it was a cream I was asking about! I just walked away as he just stared at me with the "so... yeah..." expression. Then, in the makeup department (My NaNa must be in those electronic scooters to get around), an employee there kept squeezing products onto the shelf INSTEAD of kindly saying, "Excuse me". My NaNa was right next to the shelf, so the employee literally slid the items in the SMALL nook/space/crevice/WHATEVER and would balance the products on the shelf. I just so happened to look up and witnessed this as my NaNa SWEETLY says, "Oh... I'm sorry. I'm in your way." (She felt the woman's hand squeeze between her & the shelf). And the girl never said ANYTHING. Not "Oh no! It's my fault. I didn't want to disturb you or make you move. You're fine." No. She just stared at my NaNa reconfigure herself & never said a word. This place legit has Walmart service, but with better products (it's still a Target after all). I NEVER leave reviews, but this was a must. And I will say that everyone (that I came across) in the Electronic's section was great! They were lovely, eager & quick to help us out which was completely a "night & day" type of experience. They all even cracked some jokes and we had some laughs. So it's not everyone, obviously, but... still a 1 star for me. Anyone would have deserved better. I am very disappointed in the lack of items that are just the basics and how ever time I go to that store the shelves are almost bare as if someone bought stuff in bulk and as someone who works in a market if my supervisor came in and saw the state of the store my supervisor would give the manager an earful because of the lack of products and the state of this store is going down hill it's dirty, rude managers, lack of items.
