When the delivery guy called at 10:30am and said he would be there by 11, or 11:05 at the latest, I left work and drove home to meet them. At 11:15 I called to ask if they needed directions. The delivery driver stated that they were 5 minutes away. At 11:35 I called him back to ask for an update and was told that he was 48 seconds away (don't ask me where he got the number, my GPS doesn't give the seconds to destination so, yes, I thought it was a little strange). I was waiting outside for them for another 20 minutes before calling and leaving him a voicemail (he didn't answer this time). I finally got fed up with waiting and called Pottery Barn because I had to get back to work (I had been waiting for delivery for more than an hour at this point) and I had the delivery rescheduled for Sunday. SUMMARY: The delivery driver straight-up lied to me on the phone about when he was going to be there and I ended up waiting for more than an hour after the time he told me before having to cancel. I called customer service and they rescheduled delivery and waived the $100 delivery fee. Everyone I spoke with (aside from the delivery driver) was very helpful and courteous. The late delivery doesn't bother me nearly as much as being lied to by the delivery driver. Because of customer service, I will continue to shop at Pottery Barn but I doubt I will trust the delivery ETA next time.

Additionally, she works with her husband who is equally as wonderful - and willing to pick up/drop off the pieces (although we did not take him up on the offer). I recently purchased three items in this store a few minutes before they were closing (a brand-new ottoman, metal vertical locker, and metal basket). The employee, seemed to be in a hurry, but still kindly offered to load the items in my car. I told him I was concerned about all of the items fitting in my car in one load and he insisted it would be fine. While I was moving items in my backseat to my trunk to make room, he loaded my car. I have attached photos showing how he loaded the items. The fabric underneath the Ottoman was torn and the legs were scratched up. In addition, the tint on my windows was damaged. I called the store the next day and explained the situation to Jan and Jan said that they guarantee the loading of items and that she would either refund me the money or order another brand-new ottoman, but I had to email the photos to the manager, Kim. Kimberly responded and was very rude and unprofessional. She stated that since I cannot prove that the damage was done by the employee loading my car, they weren't going to do anything. All of my photos were time stamped and taken in their parking lot. I could not go back inside the store to talk to them, because they were already closed. I am in honest and fair person and I am so disappointed in the service I received. If you buy anything here, do not let them load your car. Also, they have a final sale policy on everything, but they don't tell you that. It is printed on your receipt AFTER you've already purchased the items. Their rebuttal to my credit card company was simply that I signed the credit card receipt. Legally, that's all they had to do.
