Had 1st class customer service experience at the TJMax on 9579 S University Blvd. when purchasing counter stools. Mauricio went above and beyond to move around the floor different stools until we decided on one model. He spent a good 15 minutes and loaded the 3 we chose onto a flat bed, assisted us at the cash register, and loaded into our car. His attitude was exceptionally professional and friendly. Will not hesitate to purchase other large items knowing that we will receive this kind of customer service. We were expecting to have to do all of the carting and loading ourselves. I like TJ Maxx. Some stores are definitely better than others...I found an Armani black label jacket in a Manhattan store for $99 on the clearance rack once...but if you're willing to hunt a bit, there can be some real bargains in designer clothing, such as $400 dresses for $80 or less. It's a good spot for workout clothes. They have good brands, such as Under Armour and Calvin Klein, for about half of retail. Sometimes you can find Hudson, Paige, or AG jeans for $40-$50. Sweater selection is mostly acrylic, but sometimes they have cashmere or wool. The shoe selection is usually less than stellar, although once I found two pairs of Jack Rogers sandals for about $40 each, which was amazing. I do have very high standards for shoes, though. I only wear all leather, or at the very least, leather uppers. TJ Maxx seems to carry mostly PU shoes. Lots of sneakers, PU boots, and just plain ugly shoes. I do have huge feet, so I like shoes that don't make my feet look like as if I should be towed behind a speedboat. TJ Maxx is GREAT for shampoo, conditioner, and hair tools. I buy Joico, Rusk, and other shampoos etc at about half of what they would cost at Ulta or a salon. They have Chi tools at a discount, sometimes. They also carry a lot of bath and skincare items. The cosmetic selection can be hit or miss. The Home section often has luxury sheets, blankets, towels, pillows, and home decor/kitchen ware at great prices, although they may not have the number of plates or glasses that you want, so you may have to hunt at other stores, too. The purse selection has been leaning very heavily towards PU the last few years, sadly. Very few real leather purses. Great for vegans! They also seem to have a much smaller stock. Generally a good selection of luggage, though. I've bought quite a few suitcases over the years. Once in a rare while they'll have Hartmann or Tumi. Not cheap, but much less than full retail. The men's clothing section isn't bad, although finding pants with a 34" inseam can be tough. It's good for shirts, jackets, socks, and underwear. They have more tee shirts than polo shirts these days, though. Service is friendly and helpful. I bought a pajama and robe set on my last visit, but alas the shorts were missing (and of course it was the only set in any size of that particular pattern), so a nice lady went and looked in the back for me, couldn't find the shorts, and gave me a discount. I do wish they would stop asking if I want to open a credit card every single visit, but I understand that they don't have a choice. They're probably just as tired of asking. read more

This is one of the better TJMs I have been too. Their men's clothing and homeware section is very good. Often times I have visited similar merchants but their items are scratched/dented. Surprising, I have found some excellent bedding and draperies here. I suggest visiting before heading to Khols, BB&B or even Target. read more

In my opinion, all TJ Maxxes, while basically the same, are wildly different in the merchandise they carry based on location. For instance, downtown TJM rocks career wear and home goods. This is the Highlands Ranch TJ Maxx, so you have a lot of families in the area. I think I was the only woman in the store today who wasn't with child or with a child - seriously. That is a-ok, it works when you need home goods, kids stuff or handbags (they have a really nice selection at this one). It is a clean store with friendly associates. You get a suburban relaxed crowd, with lots of little ones running about - so be forewarned :) It has good buys so I will be back. It's a nice place to burn a lunch hour! read more

We have shopped TJMax statewide in Colorado for many years. After todays experience, NEVER AGAIN. If you're okay with MEN being in the WOMENS dressing room, waste your money here in Highlands Ranch Colorado. Here's the experience: While undressing in the Women's dressing room, the stall next to mine had a MAN, (clearly, A MAN read on) in it. His deep baritone voice advising another person on what they were trying on and repeatedly commenting on if it will "look really good." This is mentioned because after hearing the voice, over and over, IT WAS DEFINITELY A MAN. Upon leaving quickly, I asked the check in attendant, "why men are allowed in the Women's dressing room?" The reply, " Oh, yes, ummm, I didn't know a men got in." Hard to believe when I was adamantly checked in on how many items I had before allowed in to try on the garments. A store Manager overheard this and stopped me upon leaving saying, "I am so sorry this happened, it never should have." To which I relied, why did it then? Not everyone agrees to this and I was offended." Manger replied, " I don't agree either, you're right, I am so sorry it happened." Will NEVER give my money to this place or any like it again. I was very upset at the complete lack of customer service I received until the very end of my visit. I arrived 5 mins before they opened at 9:30. They didn't open the door until 9:33. The employees watched me stand outside in the heat waiting to get in. Like I was an annoyance that I was waiting at the door. No one asked my if I needed anything as I browsed the store and up on cashing out, there were at least 5 people up front standing around, a customer being cashed out with several items and someone behind me waiting also. A few minutes went by and It wasn't until I asked for another cashier to come to the front for some help that I was serviced. The lady called up someone with the most monotone voice like she hated her job. Everyone looked miserable and it was obvious. Another woman came to cash me out. She was so nice. I wished I was treated like that the whole time. What an upsetting experience. I will never go back to this TJ Maxx. I expected more in Highlands Ranch... read more

Great clean store. I usually go there to look for pots for my porch and they have great pots from anywhere from $5 - $15. They are great. They also have great stuff for the house. read more

Woefully understaffed, when brought to mgt attention that 20 people were in line nothing happened.

I walked into the store looking to buy a nice tommy hilfigure shirt. 99% of the staff was increadibly rude and overall terrible to be around. Than while I was anguish storming out of this terrible place the nicest yung lady approached me and asked if everything was ok. I than told her about my awful experience and she apologized for the entire franchise and showed to me to the shirt I was looking for. It was a perfect fit and style for my body figure. It improved my intire vibe. The woman's name was Sarah, she was a tall young woman , and she truly made my experience better. Thank you Sarah. read more

There's definitely a varying merchandise selection at each TJ Maxx. This particular location has a superb handbag and accessory section. I've found items at a steeper discount here than at the location on Orchard and University. Overall, I've scored so many awesome finds here, and my closet is more fashionably, and affordably, stocked because of it! read more
