All I did was asked a valid question as to why I did not get 50% of $149.98, which is what my necklace was listed for. Instead, I got $67.49, which was 50% of $134.98. I would have expected $74.99. I was told by the lady who works there that sometimes the owner gives a special discount to regular customers. I was fine with her answer and that should have been the end of that The next day, I got a call from the owner telling me that he was told that I was upset when I called to ask about the difference. I emphasized to him that I was not upset. I was only wondering about the difference. He explained to me just like what the lady said to me the day before. He also said that that was on him giving that kind of discount to his customer. He then said that they seem to always be doing something wrong by me and that they should return my stuff to me. I felt like I was being punished for having asked a valid question. When I first started the consignment with them, they had lost a couple of my stuff, and they compensated me for them, which was well and good. They even said that they hoped that I was going to continue consigning with them. So, we moved on. Back in July, I noticed that a storage box that I had dropped off for consignment was no where to be seen, this box would have been hard to miss. It was not there but was still showing as available in my 'available' list. I brought it up with them on the day they returned my stuff to me, and the owner said that I dropped it off on 7/10, and it was sold and paid out within a couple of weeks, I think. Anyway, if it was paid out, it was not to me. The pay out must have accidentally gone to someone else. I had also brought up with the owner, when we talked on the phone, that I seemed to have been missing a necklace. I brought 4 necklaces, and only 3 were accounted for. When I got back from my vacation to pick up my stuff, somehow the missing necklace has appeared. I did not bother to ask where it was since they were already returning my stuff. I did not want nor expect to be banned from consigning. All I did was asked a valid question. I didn't think it was fair that they did that to me. I really enjoyed shopping at their store. I think that it should have been up to me to make that decision to discontinue doing business with them if I thought they weren't doing right by me. It is really sad and unfortunate this happened. Now it just really makes me sad to drive by there and not go any more.

Don't buy a lift chair from them unless you can be without it for a week or so before anyone comes…read moreto look at maybe repairing it or have to take more time to order parts and put you back on their repair list to have the work completed. A critical piece of furniture such as a lift chair should be a priority. People don't normally buy a lift chair unless they have a physical need for it.

I was told that 2 weeks ago. I will never buy another piece of furniture from them, did they sell my couches and order more? Poor communication don't tell a customer they shipped when they didn't.

I only came back with bedroom furniture but not a bed frame. So since my sister and I came into Ashley's just looking I saw the bed frame and bought it. Mind you $900.00 for the bed, $200.00 for delivery charge and the rest tax. The bed was purchased in April 2026 and was delivered in May. Upon my inspection of the bed I found a small but noticeable dent in the wall only because I found white particles from the wall puncher on the floor. I photographed the area on the wall and immediately called the person assisting me at the store. This was Terry...he asked me to send him pictures and I did. I waited a week, then two. I called, left messages, went by the store and still couldn't speak to the person in charge and was told to talk to the manager. This approach was proving ineffective. By this time its June. I stopped in to the store on June 26,2026 and was told the computers were down and there was no way to check if there was a message about my account. I was told that someone would be in touch the following week. Monday June 29 I got a call early in the morning asking me to accept an offer. But when I counter offered I was told that they would have to get back to me. I waited, I went by the store again and was told again that the proper information had been provided thru the proper channels. I left a message July 27, 2026 but at today's date August 29, 2026 no one has reached out to me yet. I paid for this bed frame in the store with my credit card after which I am ghosted. I was also looking for a recliner loveseat for my sister (a gift to her for moving to a new apartment). That money will not be spent at Ashley's. This is no where near customer service and I am not satisfied yet. My wall has not been repaired yet. Enjoy your hiding place now but it won't hide you forever.

Within two months it was sagging. I contacted the store as I had been told the mattress had a 8 year warranty. They said they couldn't help me and I should contact the manufacturer. Today, I and my aching back went to Grand's furniture store and bought a quality mattress. I can sleep on it for 30 days and if necessary exchange it for a different one. Now that's customer service.
