Will in Tech was amazing. I was going to purchase a pair of Sony's high end noise-canceling headphones at Best Buy. I came into Target and decided to check out the product in the Electronics area. Will was super knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and provided a good comparison of Sony's product versus the competition. When I told Will that I was going to make my purchase at Best Buy because their price was slightly lower, he told me that Target has the ability to price match. Solely based upon Will's customer service, I decided to spend $160 on headphones at Target instead of Best Buy. What is going on with this particular Target? For more than a year now, various issues have plagued the building and store: massive water leaks, busted escalators that aren't fixed for days or weeks at a time, busted doors also not repaired for days or weeks. This is overall a great Target! It is massive and has a 2-story parking deck. They even have a cart escalator! I also enjoy their food court and Starbucks. They have everything you will need, with a full grocery section. They also have lots of good deals for back-to-school. They even have furniture. I must say, what I really like about this Target... is the parking deck. I mean why park in the sun or rain when there's a parking deck that leads right inside the store. The next thing I like about this target is the clearance section. It's kinda like thrift shopping because they're picked over items no one wanted, and there are usually some great finds, and other times meh not so much. Next is the toy section... I always look to see what they have new and/or on sale. I also like to play the WiiU demo games when there's no one around. Going later at night is when you can avoid screaming kids running around the store.... usually... I've been unlucky and had the displeasure of listening to children throw tantrums in the toy section and all you can do is walk the hell away.... Next section... candy. Target carries some of my favorite candy and before heading to the movies I definitely try to stop by and pick up some snacks. I also like the grocery section, because if I'm low on something at home, it's great being able to pick it up on the way out... If you get into the Target zone where you pick up this and pick up that...next thing you know you'll end up spending way more than you wanted to. That's why you run in and run out, trying to avoid all the cute Hello Kitty items...but I fail at that... Other than that, I find this location to be okay. It doesn't have the worse customer service, but it's not the greatest either. Also their selection on the shelves can be rather slim leaving you with nothing to choose from. When they didn't have an item I was looking for... I left and unfortunately went to Walmart. But all in all... it's a Target... it's not too hot and it's not too cold.... it's just right. read more

Bought a $100 target gift card for Christmas from this location. I picked it off of their gift card wall and had an associate load it for me. The recipient went to use it and the cashier said it had no funds on it. Apparently, scammers at this location stole physical gift cards, took down the card numbers, super glued the cards back on to the carton and placed them back onto the rack. Once they saw the card had funds on it, used it to buy more gift cards. Be aware!! read more

I agree with reviewer Dee G. that Target Johnson Ferry cashier/return specialist Marilyn is the bomb--not only personable and fun, but does everything within her power to be helpful and is a joy to see. We have also had great chats with cashier Frank when not too busy (don't want him to get in trouble). Store is invariably clean and well-stocked and staff is friendly. The attached underground garage, and the Pizza Hut and Starbucks are welcome conveniences. Target is not the cheapest but they price-match Was Mart and Amazon. one of my favorite targets in atlanta! the aisles are always clean, organized, and well stocked. there are never any toys, kitchenware, makeup, or anything on the floors. the floors are nice and clean. I never have to worry about slipping on someone's spilled drink or food crumbs *cough* walmart. the aisles are are organized with labeled categories hanging from the celling and with labels on the front of the aisles to help narrow down your search. I always see employees restocking stuff on the shelves, so there's never that "aww.. one item left" type of situation. floor staff are friendly and knowledgeable about where particular products are located at in the store. the cashiers can be a hit and miss, but that's doesn't bother me too much since I only have to deal with them for a minute or two. lastly, I love that this target offers floor level (outdoor) parking and underground garage parking. you never have to worry about finding a parking spot with the vast spaces. for crappy weather, you can always take the side entrance (next to autozone and across from whole foods) and park in the garage. also, keep in mind that this is just a standard target (not a super target). groceries are limited. there is a "cold" section for lunch meat, juices, and ice cream. you will not be able to find vegetables or meat here. read more

A Target is not a Target. I've worked at Target and can tell a good one from a bad one. This is a great Target, my favorite one to go to! I really like that this Target has a parking deck and that you can park on the bottom and escape the weather and traffic from the top. The best parking is on the bottom. Another great thing about this Target is that the people here are knowledgeable, they will know where things are in the store and the electronics people will actually know about the electronics. My favorite part of this store is the huge blu-ray selection they have. They have the biggest I've seen at any Target store, they even have a full shelf of TV series on blu-ray. The electronics section in this store in general is very big an set up very intuitively. This store is newer and always very clean. Whoa! I died and went to target heaven! As an out of towner I was so confused when I found this location. First of all, there's an underground parking lot just for target parking. This was super nice because it kept the car out of the summer heat. It was a nice touch. And then they had escalators that took me up to the store! And elevators! It felt like a trippy world of oz experience. I've never been to a target like this! I was still about to utilize target cartwheel for deals, and found everything that I needed to make my stay great! I cannot give any large store like this 5 stars, so my four star will have to be like a 5 star! It is not Wal-mart. I love that. However it is still like a preppy cousin of Wal-Mart. I prefer Target on Johnson Ferry over any Wal-Mart because it is clean, in a good location, and has similar pricing, but usually better quality goods. Not the place to buy food, as they have expanded their grocery selection. You go to Whole Foods/Local farmers market/Life Grocery or you grow it!! You don't feel intimidated to bring the family here as it is easy to get in and out of. On Monday December 19th before noon. I was accused of not scanning an item after that was the first thing that I scanned when I arrived at self checkout and after another sales associate adjusted the price for another item and verified that I had scanned all of the items that were bagged and in my shopping cart. I have never been to a Target and headed out the door where an employee ask to see my receipt. I informed Ro that I was NOT going to provide her with my receipt. I was so taken aback that I requested to speak with a supervisor. The male supervisor did not say a word because after I explained what happened he knew that Ro was completely out of line and that I did absolutely nothing wrong. I made sure to make the Grinch who Stole Christmas (Ro) apologize to me before I left that store. I had just left the dentist office minding my business enjoy my day and heading out the store before her rude ass try to accuse me of stealing. Everyone is not a thief. People want to receive 5 star customer service and a great shopping experience where they are spending their money. I was delayed an extra 30 minutes explaining the situation. Ro needs to be disciplined for her actions and I have yet to hear from Justin the store manager who was supposed to contact me yesterday. Please if you ever have less than 5 star customer service and an awful shopping experience. Please post a negative review with the employees names and contact corporate. This is a pretty nice Target. They always have what I need, but I'm truly only reviewing for one reason: the customer service provided by one of the workers, Marilyn, during my last visit. She was such an absolute joy, and she put the biggest smile on my face that day. I visit this target regularly to get my basics. They are always well staffed and their shelves neat and organized. Overall I enjoy the experience there. Unlike other people here they have never done any hardcore sales of the target card. Only complaints are no self checkout and market pantry lemonade. But I don't think that is the biggest deal, since they usually have a good amount of cashiers to take care of the lines. That market pantry lemonade is just nasty. Bought it because it looked like a good deal and thought....what can go wrong with lemonade? I learned that day....But worth the 1.99 to learn not to go with their store brand again. read more

Two examples of "customer service." First, Target: I returned a pair of flashlights, received at Christmas, because one of them did not function properly. I explained this to the Guest Service person, and within 30 seconds I walked out of the store with a new pair of flashlights. Second, Learning Express on Johnson Ferry: we gave our granddaughter a myPhone, which she loved, but after about 25 minutes, it shorted out, we were all concerned about even a small electrical shock. The clerk at Learning Express insisted it worked as it should, and refused to take it back, saying in essence either she did not believe us or we were not being truthful. I applied in store for a Target red card and the employee who handled my application sent the card to the wrong address. The address the card was sent to was entirely different from my home address. When I contacted customer service to inquire as to why I had not received the new card, the Representative blamed me that I had provided the wrong address. If I had provided the wrong address, why would it be entirely different from my current or former addresses? She then told me that they would charge a fee to send out a new card and it would be billed to my account. It looks like I'll be making my future purchases on Amazon. read more
