The people who work for McKinney's Furniture who delivered the furniture did not wear a mask and we're so brazen enough to say they were not vaccinated that they were strong and healthy and one even bragged that his kids were not vaccinated either for covid! One even went so far to say he doesn't even get the flu shot! I called up the store to find out why this is so especially when dealing with the general public and the manager Rick says he's not going to force his employees to wear mask when dealing with the public! Sorry but if you're not vaccinated for covid and you're dealing with the public even as far as going into their homes to deliver furniture then God damn it you're employees better be masked because you're going into people's homes not vaccinated! So let me say, if something happens to my mother after this incident today and because two employees went into her home not masked and not vaccinated, I don't care if they were not Vaccinated but damn it they should have been wearing a damn mask and if something happens to my mother because of this incident today I will look forward to talking to my attorney and suing this company!!!!!

I live in Allegheny County, which does not have a Boscov's, so this particular location in Beaver County is the closest to me. For at least a few years, I have shopped occasionally in this store. I would describe Boscov's as being between Macy's and JCPenney in quality. Products are often name-brand and designer and are often on sale for low prices. I always shop in multiple departments but focus mostly on the junior's and misses's sections of clothing, which are quite large and take much time to search through. During my most recent visit, I chose a thermal/waffle shirt that was on sale for only $7. I was standing in line at a cash register when an employee told me that I could go to her cash register a short walk away. I appreciated that she did not make me wait to be served. She correctly rang up my purchase and thanked me.

We ordered a king Stearns & Foster. From the beginning we had issues. The store manager /…read moresalesperson lied to us by telling us the streams and foster brand, super expensive box springs were required when buying the mattress or the warranty would be voided. Not being an idiot, it was a red flag. I asked him to verify that and said he would contact his district manager for the paperwork that states that. Dude never got back to me, so I called him...then, magically, "they must have recently changed that policy because it's no longer the case". He at least offered to slightly discount the box springs so I guess that's a positive. Another example was the delivery people told us the mattress wouldn't fit up our stairs despite having another king delivered the week before. Then they unnecessarily made us move furniture out of the way that wasn't required to be moved before. Additionally, they broke our curtain rod trying to get the mattress delivered. The mattress immediately started sagging on the sides and had a high spot in the middle after only about a week. We asked how the return process goes (120 day comfort guarantee) and the store manager was extremely rude and difficult to work with. He demanded photos of the mattress. He then stated he would have to discuss this with his District Manager to get approval and we would be hearing from him when that happened. We called back about a week later, and the same rude manager replied with, "that's not what I said, we aren't waiting on my manager...I was waiting for you to tell me what date you wanted it picked up. So we played his game and gave him a date. He then said it would be a few weeks because he needed to get a "special inspection team" together to go over the mattress to determine if it was returnable. Then proceeded to lecture me on all of the things that would cause it to be rejected in order to "set expectations" for us. We set up a return date for two weeks out. Keep in mind that for our original mattress delivery we never received a phone call or text or any notification of when the delivery was going to take place and had to call to find out. So, with that in mind, I called the evening before around 6:30 PM to see when the pickup for the return would be based on the lack of notification when it was delivered. The sales rep stated he didn't see us on the schedule at all and wasn't sure what had happened. We weren't on the schedule at all, likely because we were never actually scheduled for a return because these guys get paid commission. A $6,000 return would likely affect someone's paycheck, which is likely why it was this difficult at every step. The next day we called again and were told some nonsense excuse like, "what likely happened was the warehouse routes were overbooked, so your return got bumped". What probably happened was the same store manager I had been dealing with just didn't schedule it. Fast forward to yesterday when the mattress was picked up, there was no special team of mattress inspectors...just 2 delivery dudes in a rented box truck like usual. The inspection process consisted of me asking him to take a look at it so we had no issues returning it. He glanced at it and said, "yes...looks fine". Save yourself some trouble and go to the many other good options out there and avoid Mattress Firm.

Disaster. No clerks to help, many items not priced, stuff laying on the floor, same items all the…read moretime, no variety. Good place to stay away from. Prices are not as cheap as they would like you to believe either.
