This place is horrible! Cashiers are dumb, simple coupons doesn't know how to do it, always have to ask the manager, but even the manager doesn't know, she doesn't even read it and just say No. Really people... C'mon just because u work there doesn't mean u don't need to use ur brain. It's not like target is loosing money from coupons. Then, Starbucks... 1 employee only.. Taking order and making the drink... Really!? Even tho this place is closer to me.. I would never go there again. And their price are higher than other target. The lines at this target are always very long. There aren't enough registers open. I have gone at different times any day of the week and it's always the same. Long lines. But my biggest compliant are the cashiers! They are extremely slow and the majority of them do not know how to bag food correctly. I find myself bagging my own stuff just to help them out. I hope they re train their cashiers so that the lines can move faster. read more

As a shopper, this is your usual Target store. As an employee, one of the worst places to work. I worked at this Target years ago, but this is more of a testimony of how much a poor work environment is maintained by this corporation. As long as the "numbers" are there, they will forget the well being of their workers. So I cannot go into much details, but try to explain this the best way I can. So in my case, the manager directly above me and a lower end manager created a hostile work environment against me and a few others. One of these managers broke confidentiality when I reported a situation a co-worker was attempting to sabotage a manager from completing a task, and influence others to act in a similar manner during work. As far as I know, this associate and the lower manager were in on this. They constantly attempted to influence on this managers production and humiliate him. Also, multiple associates told me that the lower manager intimidated them and they were afraid to speak against her. She threaten them. As I reported this to their "self-monitored" hotline, (to my knowledge) nothing was done to correct these maladaptive actions. Actually, I received attitude from the lady at the 800 number and as far as I know nothing was done during my situation. I ended up quitting for something better, and want to advise anyone working in these environments to done be afraid to document in great detail, to talk to people who agree with you position or stance, to unionize, and to get a lawyer if necessary. I know that these companies discourage unions at the start of employment there, but if you cannot find a person the defend and protect your working rights, then getting a lawyer, suing, or forming a union are great ways to ensure you enforce your working right. These companies only look to ways to cut wages and make as much in profits. Cheap labor and profits over the well of their workers should not be at odds. Please look at why people unionized in the first place before automatically accepting their rhetoric that unions only take your money. In many cases, unions help people have a living wage. But these companies try to "self-regulate" and hope that you don't follow through with a possible lawsuit. read more

I would have given them zero star if there was such option. I went during lunch time and spent a good 10 minutes waiting in line at the checkout counter. For a second I thought I was in a dollar tree store or Walmart. The store associate was very slow (probably new) and didn't know what he was doing. When you are on your lunch break, you just want to be able to crab something and leave. It is just impossible with this particular location, let alone that you need to fight with their associates (or their carts) who re-stock their merchandise during regular store hours. read more

I love this target I live in Maywood and do not like the target they have out in South Gate always packed very ghetto, this target is always clean very helpful employees great customer service and the pharmacy wait times are perfect the most I ever waited for a medicine I would say was about 30 mins other than that 15 minutes they are ready thank you for your great customer service and having customers out in a timely manner read more

Never have been treated so rudely. The customer service clerk CHARLES was rude right when I walked up to exchange an item, said I had to go to the store I purchased it from never heard that. I even had a receipt, he called his Rude ass manager out Joann who I guess let manager go to her head was just as rude & said I have to return it where I bought it from. Called corporate the rep said that is not part of targets policy but stated to just go where I bought it. It was such an inconvenience to me. If you can't be polite & handle customer service find a new job. Never will I go to this target again the managers don't even know the rules. I called the next day to ask the am manager if that is correct what they said he had no idea he said he would have to ask. Obviously no one has proper training there. I went to the target on Firestone wonderful service from their manager who couldn't believe this target did this & acted that way. read more

WORSE COSTUMER SERVICE WITH MANAGER. I always shop at this location but today it was terrible. I want to do a transaction and the employee who help me did not want becasue "a policy" that other Targets did not have or is not written. I asked where can I find the policy and did not answer. I placed a online order to pick up. Just in case you have never ordered online and picked up in the store the process is fairly easy. You place your order and you receive a confirmation when it is ready. And that is exactly what occurred. So off I go after work mind you it is 830pm. I arrive show the associate the email and off he goes to pager my item. Ten minutes into him searching he calls another associates and they are searching. Fifteen minutes in and nothing they reviewed my email three times. They call over another associate who flat out tells me they don't know what happened they can't locate the product but don't worry they will go check the sales floor. Thirty minutes later and guess what they can't find the item they checked the floor and the back and they don't have any in stock. So why the heck would you send me an email and waste my time? So unprofessional at no point did they offer to fix the problem give the shopper the option of ordering it online for them and offer free shipping. Nothing so disappointed won't be back shame on you Target if I could give you zero stars I would. read more

I went to this store because I was trying to buy Nutribullet Pro 900 online to get a deal for Cyber Monday but every time I add to cart, it does let me do that. So I went to this store (because Santa Fe Springs store will match the deal online but they do not have this item in stock) and asked someone on the floor if they can match the deal on line because I cannot add this item in my cart online and she said yes. So when I was at the counter ready to pay (with all the ingredients to be used for item) the cashier said they cannot match online price but was kind enough to check with customer service. Customer service said NO they cannot match it because it's Cyber Monday. So now, how am i supposed to get this item when I cannot purchase this online because there's a glitch in their system? They also advised me to call customer service online to purchase this item. I called and I was waiting on the phone for almost 45 minutes with no answer from a representative. I am very very disappointed with this store and will never shop here again. read more
