I've only been to this Target a few times, but today was my first time going to the Starbucks inside. I was greeted and everything went as usual .. until I stood there waiting for my drink. As the cashier and another worker began making my drink, I overheard the cashier saying how she hates customers and how "she must need rent money so badly" to have to deal with people all day and why she ever agreed to take this shift. I have worked many years in customer service and I understand all too well the frustration that comes with the job title, believe me. We've all had experiences with many different kinds of people and if you "hate" people so much, go further your education and find another job instead of pouting about it loud enough to where customers can hear. Smile and move on. In other news, the guy cashier (I didn't get his name) at the actual Target was awesome. That Starbucks cashier should take lessons from him. read more

They have horrible customer service here I had called and asked if they had a product I was looking for gave them the DPCI number they transferred me to electronics the person I spoke to said their system was showing they had 13 available but that he thinks they ran out since it had gone on clearance I asked if he would be able to check to see if there were any left he took 2 secs and said yeah I checked we have nothing I told him so you checked and it took you 2 seconds that was fast I went to the store since I didn't believe him and there they were they had 8 I spoke to a manager about the incident she mention that employees are not supposed to see if clearance items are available at the store she mention that it's the customers responsibility and not the employees smfh worst customer service read more

Personally, I prefer shopping at Walmarts. Once in a while, it is nice to avoid the crowds and shop at Target instead. We decided to come here because we had a few Target gift cards. This branch is not as clean and neat as all the other Target stores that we have gone to. Another negative is that they only had 3 registers open. We waited in line for almost 20 minutes! I will still go to Target once in a while, but probably not this branch again. read more

Target is always my go to store when buying stuff for the house or for my kids. I mean who doesn't love Target. This Norwalk locations is my favorite. I love that it is always clean and I always find what I am looking for and they always stock up on their sale items so you can be sure that of you see something on their weekly ads, you will definitely find it here. The employees here are super friendly and willing to help you out, unlike other locations or store that employees feel bothered when you ask for help. Every time i come to this Target and believe me with 5 kids I am a frequent visitor, they always have multiple registers open so you can grab your items, head to a check stand and be on your merry way. read more

First time app user, I saw many 20%off deals for those who have the app. I've notice i did have some items that applied to the discount in my shopping cart . Not knowing how it's worked I ask the first person that assisted and the cashier he stated just to add my phone number and it should pop it . I did so and nothing, before leaving i kept wondering why. So I kindly ask for assistance again to the cashier in reg 3 named Edgar. I am 6 months pregnant. After shopping at Target, we went to Starbucks. While I was waiting for my drink I believe my blood pressure dropped due to the mask I was wearing/heat. I started to feel week and started fainting. Karla(Target employee) quickly helped my husband get me up and got me a chair and cold water from Starbucks employees . It was a very scary moment but they were very quick at responding to my help me. I felt better within a few minutes and was able to walk out. I truly appreciate their quick response in helping. This Target is pretty convenient for me only if I needed to get something that won't sit in the car too long since it's near my work and I have a commute back home. It's conveniently located on Imperial near the 5 freeway so if you needed to go to Target to get something if you're driving on the 5, this would be the ideal Target to go to. I've only been here once but it's clean and one of the better Target locations I've been to. However, the customer service here could be a lot better. Some of the staff here wouldn't crack a smile or greet you like other locations I've been to. Place needs to work on hiring happier people to work here. read more

This is the WORST Target store ever. This store customer service is less than ZERO. I came into the store on 04/13/19 to purchase a few items including a $100 Kristin Ess blow dryer and when I got up the the cash register after waiting in line for 20 minutes. Target's card reader would not work even after multiple attempts. The cashier says, store policy says we can hold your items for up to 24 hours at returns/customer service desk and you can pick them up tomorrow before the store closes. I left the store at 8:50 pm. I came back the following evening at 8:50 pm evening and asked for my hold items thinking this should be quick. WRONG. At the returns/customer service, I told Yaresly my situation and she asked for my name and went to look for my hold items. She came back and said they had already been put back. When I asked, "Why, the store isn't closed yet?", she now claimed Target never holds customers items for 24 hours and I was misinformed by the Cashier (then why did she go look for them?). She then told me that the I had two minutes to get my stuff before the store closed. As I rushed to get the items as Elisia walked by my son and said, "The store is closing you must leave" and he asked for a Manager. She told him she was a store Manager. I told her what happened last night and tonight and she wanted to know if I could point out the cashier. I said, "Yes, I am so pissed right now for being lied to last night I would gladly do that." She then called Crystal over and I explained why I was upset. Crystal a supposed Manager told my son and I that we needed to leave because this is a Family store and we were being too loud. Of course I am being loud, I was lied to last night and now I'm asked to leave because I am being inconvenient for them tonight. Elisia told me, "You walk in at 8:59 pm (not true) and expect to be helped but you came in when were closed. (If your closed how could I get in?) You need to leave because the store is closed. You cursed at me so you need to leave. We do not need to help you and I am calling someone from Lost Prevention to escort you out the store." I responded, "I asked repeatedly for the corporate contact information which Crystal after all her searching cannot give me. When you produce the corporate telephone number, the store manager name and telephone number I will leave. Not once has any of you "managers" apologized to me for being misinformed last night or allowed me to get the items I shopped for the night before. Your response is we do not have a 24 hold for customers so LEAVE OUR STORE. Just then, Yaresly picks up the store mic and announces "Customers please bring all your purchases to front of the store because the store is now closing." My son responds, "So this whole time my mom could have just gotten her items and went to the cash register but instead she got caught in this "Target Manager Nightmare"." Assistant Manager Barbie says to me, "I wished you had come to me sooner I would have helped you but now I can't. You have to leave the store." She then hands me the corporate number and names of the people I've dealt with tonight on the two pieces of paper. I ask her if her name is on the paper. She says "NO." I asked her to add it to the list and she says, "NO, but you can add it". It was their paper and their pen but she won't add her name to the list? I am a business major and this has been a "Comedy of Errors" from the beginning to end. Store manager Isabel Cortez just what are you training your managers in customer service relations? I have never been so badly treated at a Target store. I recorded my experience at this store so it is not just me making up a story I have proof that the "Managers" at this store need serious retraining in customer relationship management. My advise is to avoid this store at all costs. There are better Target stores where the customer is not "always right" but valuable commodity to the health of a prosperous store. To name a few, Target in the Cerritos Promenade and Target in the Lakewood Mall where customer service is not a forgotten art. read more

Ok service and products. I give this location 2 stars because the location and general population of customers are lame. To have to post a sign on the main entrance that alcohol consumption is not allowed in the store says it all. I made the mistake of coming by around 4th of July and man did I regret it. Hordes of families were parked in the Target lot with lawn chairs to watch the fireworks show at City Hall. Many were drinking alcohol and blocking the lanes. One would think Norwalk police would handle this situation, but of course they didn't just as they neglect all other issues going on with the city. Steer clear if you prefer to shop where people will not cut you in line or block entire aisles then give attitude when asked to move their cart over. read more

Target seems to have real bad customer service not the first time experiencing horrible customer service.. I come to this target always I know I spend hundreds a month here for every day needs .. trying to understand how you guys make your wrongs right for the customers.. my issue was I saw some organic ground beef for sale. tag said buy one get one free and I shop at this location always.so I know the item was in the right place a customer didn't just bump it there because they didn't want it .. so the cashier I had was very hopefully .he said it's I different price I showed him the proof where it go's and the tag he said yeah that's where I the item gos. so I took a picture of the tag just in case employee had a issue with it and wouldn't be accused of lying.. he tried to change the price to make it right with the customer(me) but the system did not allow him to do it .he need approval ..so he called another employee over I noticed his name tag his name was Jesse in customer service checkstands same place you return or if you have a few items they check you out .. so Jesse came over to cashier that was helping me out he explained He said I showed him the proof and then Jesse after I already showed it to the employee wanted to see the picture also kind of felt like he was accusing me of lying .. so I showed and explained with out him really looking at the pictures when I showed him .first thing he did jump to say was that's not the item.. I atleast come to this store twice a week or more I know where your items are stocked .. but the sad part about it that really bothered me was he said it with an negative attitude like the customer is always wrong.. I show them the proof I showed the the tag I showed him where the the item was stock .. and this kid Jesse still had the nerve to tell me that's not the item .. after I showed him so mush proof he still try to say I'm wrong and that's not the item.. if you guys didn't change the tag or didn't take the tag down when price changed that's your felt and management for not over seeing employees work .. I supervised a retail supermarket store for 17 years I know it's against the law for Wrongful pricing and your really going to make $5 dollars a big deal after I I literally Spand at $300-400 a month there that's just crazy that how you treat a loyal customer.. This is not the first time I deal with bad customer service at target not at the same store starting to wonder if that's how you train your employees .. They have the best of the best items and Price Match guarantee which means that if you see a price cheaper at a different store they will match it. I love how clean and organized the store is and also how the carts are so clean and smooth to drive. I love shopping there for my sons clothes. I get all his diapers, wipes, and other needs at this location. Great customer service and you never wait in line more that 3 minutes. read more

So this was probably the best experience at target by far!!! Today is October 6th and I went in at 5 pm I went to try on some slacks one size a 4 the other a 6. I was by myself so I pop outside of the dressing room, and ask the worker (she had green hair) which one looked better we were both indecisive but then when I came out two other girls were there so I asked all three. They were so helpful! I ended up getting the size six for shrinking purposes. And then I believe a manager complimented me on my blouse! So kind of her!! And then I went to the beauty department and I asked a guy with amazing make up skills for help on finding a new moisturizer. He ended up giving me samples of serums he really likes and I didn't know targets did that. He was so nice overall I had a great experience!!! I hope those workers hear about this review (I also told customer service desk worker) but they are all doing a great job !!!! read more

I love it at this target it's not small but it's not a common one to use. So when I have gone it's not busy which I love.

I'd say overall my experience was good. I went in there looking for face wash & looking for a new foundation. I went in about 9pm & the young girl in beauty helped me out. Jasmine (I think) anyway she took time in really helping me find the perfect color & needless to say I'm still using the face wash she recommended. I'd give the store 5 stars because of that experience but I'm giving the 3 because I was getting ignored by another worker. She was rude. Anyway! Thanks beauty girl for all your help! read more

I love to go to this target because its by my house and i like walking around when im bored buying things i dont need. But for christmas of 2013 i wanted to get my boyfriend the movie the lion king 2 because as a kid he loved it and i had already gotten him the 1st one and 1/2, . But because they dont carry it in their stores , i looked for it online and i bought it like maybe 3 months before christmas because as people know sometimes they take almost a month to ship something. So i ordered it and never got anything in MONTHS so i finally called their customer service center they said my order was cancelled but NEVER notified me on my email or anything. and i ordered it in beginning of October and finally called in febuary, and the lady was so rude and said that it was cancelled and thats it didnt do nothing about it . i was so pissed. and because of that i give target a one star. I don't usually leave reviews for big box stores because they are usually the same everywhere, and when you go shopping for cheap, I don't think you should expect anything to be overly stellar, but this target is pissing me off lately so I am going to write about it in general terms that apply to everyone, not just my own personal experience that no one cares about! First of all, parking always sucks. I don't know why...they have 10,000 parking spots. It's just always packed-even when the store isn't that dang busy. Lines at the check stands are ALWAYS long, even when they have 10 check stands open. I like that they recently added self checkout, but even then the paying and getting out of there process isn't that painless. The shelves are not stocked well. I go there specifically for the expensive Starbucks skinny iced coffees and 90% they aren't stocked and once they are sold out more are rarely ordered. If people want to buy good, stock the top selling products...duh! The Starbucks people aren't so nice. I used to have this "fabulous" male barista that was soooo friendly and nice. He left awhile back and now the people suck. They don't even want to give you a cup of ice. Ugh. A rude girl in customer service was telling off a "guest" over a price match. If you don't want to match prices, Target, don't offer the service. But don't brag about your price-matching policy and then hassle and harass your "guests." Bad service! read more

Ew this was probably the worst experience ever at this location & I can definitely say I will not come back to this one & would rather go a farther distance to a Target with professional employees. So I had gotten off of work at 10 at night & had to stop by really quick to get some urgent things before heading back home. Anyway I had gotten one of my things out of the way & was walking towards the area where the other stuff I needed was when this old looking lady was rudely like "what are you doing? We're closed. You have to take your stuff to the front & check out" & so I told her that I needed to get something really quick before checking out & she literally mumbled something like "all of a sudden" & rolled her eyes & went back to what she was doing. Another employee directed me to the area of the things I was looking for which was nice of her. Regardless of the fact, I felt super rushed & couldn't even have time to look through the brands of what I was getting. Like I get it. We're all exhausted from working a long shift but in no way does that make it alright to be rude to customers just cause you're having a crappy day. I like to the Starbucks that's inside this TARGET - the staff is awesome and the drinks are on point but the Target staff is by far the rudest. They are ALWAYS cutting in line, cursing (even while children are present)..
