She and the staff of the Target Optical store have served me very well for the last 11 years. And many of the staff are still the same too. Almost like family. read more

Was trying to buy contact lenses, called the office and the person on the other side of the phone yelled "HELLO HELLO HELLO YOU CAN HEAR ME OK GOOD CAN YOU HOLD CAN YOU HOLD" then slammed the phone down and left me in total silence for over a minute straight, at which point I hung up. If you want to be treated like a human being, don't call them. There is no reason to treat your customers like that. The only good things about Target was the optometrist and the slurpee machine but they got rid of the slurpee machine and replaced the good optometrist with whoever is there now. Truly shameful. With the added price jumps recently I have no reason whatsoever to shop at this location in the future. I won't be surprised if it goes out of business in the next few years. read more

Got a call yesterday evening saying that my glasses were ready for pickup and to come in anytime during business hours (9-6 weekdays) to grab them, so I came in this morning at 10:15. The optical center was not open; lights off, no one was there. None of the target employees could tell me why because the hours were posted right there on the door. I was told they probably went to lunch (uh-huh. At 10:15?). I called the number, no answer. Left an annoyed message. Weird that they called me the evening before to come in and then didn't open? I went in to work late today so I could pick them up. Now I'll have to figure out how to get them some other way read more

I've had a better experience the last few times I've been seeing her husband as my Dr. He is great. Ed and Denise are fantastic. Love them. I have no reservations recommending this for your eye care. I was having a hell of a day today, going twice to this Target store's pharmacy due to "issues" in filling my kid's prescription. On my second trip here, I had to activate a coupon I had for a prescription (so as to pay $35 for the meds instead of its full retail price of $652. $652! I kid you not!). While standing to the side of the pharmacy counter, activating this drug manufacturer coupon on my dinky phone, my prescription sunglasses fell to the floor and a lens popped out of the frame. Just perfect. Not being able to pop the lens back in myself, I walked into this optometrist office next door where a lady asked if she could help me. I sheepishly explained what happened, saying I wasn't sure if she could help me, noting I did not buy these glasses here. This lady could not have been any nicer, saying no problem, she'd be happy to help me. She popped in the lens, cleaned the glasses and checked the stems. (I wish I had noted her name), What a nice thing to do! As I left, I noted that this store carries some major name frames like Ray Ban and Coach. Based on this unexpectedly great experience today, I plan on returning here. read more

My experience here was good. The front desk staff members were professional and friendly both times I came in. I watched and listened as I waited and each patient that entered was greeted properly and professionally by the man up front. Dr Tran was friendly and very thorough at explaining and giving eye contact while doing so. They have a nice selection of frames in an array of colors to choose from. This is the worst experience that I have ever had! I tried Target Optical thinking that it would be more convenient. I was wrong! Maybe they have more hours that they are open but that doesn't help because of the poor customer experience. I have to keep chasing them down with where are my glasses? Where is my contact prescription? I have to wait for weeks to get trial lenses . And they don't answer the phone. Do not go here...go find an optometrist who will treat you like a valued patient/client versus. read more

This is a poor excuse for an optical shop. I ordered glasses and sunglasses. Went to pick up the sunglasses and they were blurry. No opportunity to have them evaluated. Was told my eyes would "adjust" when I asked. Nope. I spent well over $500 for both pair and will NEVER return. read more

Denise is a Saint! My prescription glasses needed a minor repair, a tiny little screw needed to be replaced. She repaired my glasses quickly and only charged me a smile. Why can't everyone be that wonderful!? read more

Dr. Tran was very warm and friendly. She was knowledgeable and did a thorough exam. I've worked with Ed, the optician, several times. He is always pleasant, polite, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the time he takes, even when busy, to make sure I get what I'm looking for. read more

I agree with other bad reviews about the place but in my case, Dr. Tran was very nice and polite but the sales person is totally opposite! No courtesy, understanding or kindest whatsoever. And when I mentioned about the store closure (although the sign indicates the hours should be opened), her response was "nope we always open except at 2-3pm". I don't remember her name but she has very loud voice and unkind personality. She also made me rush to make a decision to buy the frames. I didn't get mine done! Go elsewhere people read more

For a little while I thought I was at Nordstorms. There was mistake in our order ( missing antiglare), they agreed to replace the lenses (after paying the difference). TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DR. TRAN! I got fitted for contacts by Dr. Ng (+++++) on Monday and paid an $80 fitting fee to learn how to use Contacts. On Wednesday, I was having trouble getting my contact out, so I went to see Dr. Tran who refused to help me unless I paid another $90 fee for her to examine my eyes. I was astonished, and said," Do you mean you won't help me unless you charge me $90?!" She restated the same position two more times and I left with a contact stuck in my eye. BTW, Technicians were in Dr. trans office repairing the equipment so my $90 was to cover her looking into my eye with a flashlight in the area where people select glasses. I will not ever be in this office again! read more

Located at the south end of the Redmond Target store, this optical center has always met my expectations. I haven't had eye exams here but have had several pairs of glasses made. Tonight I stopped in to have the frame of my reading glasses tweaked. Chrissy not only made them fit like new she's also a good listener. I mentioned that I was having trouble with my everyday glasses and she offered to take a look. Five minutes later that pair fit great and the trifocals lenses were all in the right places. She was fast, friendly and super skilled. I've been helped by Gayle before as well, and she was equally skilled and personable. I'm all about customer service. A store may bring me in for a particular product but it's the customer service that brings me back. This optical shop has a decent selection of frames and I've never had an issue with lenses. The ongoing support they offer is above average and makes it well worth giving them a try! read more

They don't even deserve 1 star for service. Got here and THEY cancelled my appt. I called in the morning to give my insurance information and they couldn't take the call because they were too busy and needed to call me right back. They never did call back so I showed up about 10 minutes before my appointment time. I looked on the desk and saw the note stating to call me back. They decided to schedule someone else in my spot since they didn't have my insurance info because THEY didn't call me back - TERRIBLE service, just schedule someone else in my spot and not bother to call to say ANYTHING?!?!? 40 minute drive for nothing except to get my blood boiling!!!! read more

Our new optical benefit with Medicare gave us a choice of several optical places to get new glasses so we chose Target. Both of us received excellent exams with very friendly staff. My husband found very nice frames in their collection and I ended up getting some wonderful prescription sunglasses. The entire experience was very good and the staff made it a pleasure. I think their prices were very comparable to Costco. read more

Dr. Tran started off fine, but she then did a contact fitting without my knowledge that it was an additional 50 dollars. She only told me this after when she charged me. Additionally, she miscorrected my prescription for my contact lenses. After about a month of horrible headaches and blurriness due to the incorrect prescription, I paid to go to another optometrist who corrected my prescription. I had to buy more contact lenses (and throw out the 6 months worth of contact lenses that i paid for at Target through Dr. Tran. I am very disappointed. I felt that she just wanted to change my prescription for the sake of "doing something" other than a regular check up during my appointment (or perhaps for the additional $50 dollars). I have not returned since and I do not recommend this optometrist. read more

Went in two times to try to receive a price comparison---closed both times without notice, just a note within view. Explained this to Sara when I was able to get hold on someone. Her response was a curt "okay"---not a hint of an apology, nor an inkling of concern that I had been inconvenienced. I would not be writing this if I had just received a hint that she cared I had been there on my day off, and then again, after work (exhausted). Just wanted to get it done.She was not able to help me with the info that I needed (not her fault at all, out of her control), but PLEASE---if you're dealing with people, show a little common courtesy. read more

I happened upon Target Optical as I was buying ice cream to soothe my crappy eye exam experience at Sears. I decided to check them out and I am so glad I did. They were able to get me in right away, the exam was less than Sears, and Dr. Tran was thorough. She answered my repeated questions and explained her answers well. The woman who worked in the front was so patient it blew me away. Anyone who can deal with me trying on no less than a thousand frames deserves an award. And I was really surprised to see that they carried Coach frames. I was paying out of pocket and my budget was tight so I was grateful that their lower cost frames weren't junk. I haven't picked up my actual frames yet so barring anything weird with that experience I'm very pleased. read more

We took our glasses to get fixed at place in Bellevue. All it need was a screw and they broke the hinge. We went to Target Optical (425) 885-6005. They tried to fix it repeatedly in front of us but could not. Attitude was great knowing they were doing us a favor though in end could not be fixed. Then we went back later after they had just closed. They reopened and let us back in to find a frame for my 11 yr old that matches the lens size knowing she would not be able to do without her glasses. Who takes the time to do that after a long day on a Saturday when they have their own families to get home to??? She found a pair, replaced the lenses, gave us a good deal... and we went home happy bc of their kindness and time with beautiful smiles on their faces.
