While most Targets are EVIL (in a good way, for having all kinds of cool stuff), this store takes the cake and is SUPER EVIL! I love it. I think the grocery and extra space has something to do with it. Typically I am an average and reasonable Target spender (think I will spend $50, but spend $75 without really knowing how I did that). The grocery area is Ok, but is lacking in choices -- high on the store brand-Archer Farms label, but low on healthy low-fat and premium name-brand items. The rest of the store is high on other items -- featuring a number of clothing and housewares that wouldn't be featured at regular Target stores. It's clean for now and like every other large store in the world, features a Starbucks, but will probably be trashed next year...lol. read more

My all time favorite store ever!! Perfect for last minute late night runs and great kids toy isle. Amazing party stuff and Halloween stuff Christmas could be better though but other than that it is the best store ever! There clothes are excellent as well they have a pretty big baby isle and kids clothing. I would suggest going there for clothes and toys but not so much groceries the groceries are fine but I would go to a good store. Also really cute home decor and patio stuff. I do think that one thing they could improve on is pet stuff they have litter for cats and a couple of toys for animals but I think they should have more pet supplies. Pros: - One of the few Super Targets in Phoenix. - It's clean Cons: - The parking lot is a death trap. No one stops at the stop signs at the front of the store. When people do, they are highly likely to get rear ended. - The store is constantly being reorganized. Week after week, if you frequent the store you are very likely to not know where something is. - There are two dozen registers, but no more than 1-5 open at any given time. You can't buy some things at self-checkout so they are useless. Overall, it's a good store. read more

I've visited this target several times, but have never shopped the entire store. I've only been to the shoes, women's and junior's section. They always seem to be well stocked. The clearance racks though are horrible. There is no rhyme or reason to any of it. Clothes aren't sized and in a lot of cases the size on the hanger isn't the size of the dress, shirt, pants, sweater, etc. If you don't mind taking your time to go through the racks and comb through you can find some good deals. I've been to a lot of targets in the valley and found that this one has the largest selection and variety of women's shoes which is nice. read more

While I generally remember to check the "sell by" dates for perishable items, I accidentally purchased some carrot cupcakes for $2.99 with a "sell by" date of 08/08. Today is 08/23. That's 15 days ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Earlier, I had to go through all of the cheeses to find a 24-pack that had not already expired. So, it's my fault for not remember to check the cupcakes. I plan to return them later and do not expect any difficulties receiving a refund. It's just so inconvenient to have to make multiple trips to Target because of something so stupid. read more

This may be the only big box chain that I can tolerate going into. Probably because they always have everything I need, and things seem to be more my style here and less crazy than others. Another bonus is that this Target is Super. And close to the light rail. And by close, I mean it is right there. Last time I walked into Target I ended up buying two pillows for my sofa that *finally* matched my awkwardly awesome accent color in my living room. And Mortal Kombat. Where else can you do that? And don't say Wal-Mart. No one has those damn pillows. No one but Target. Sometimes Target is funny too. And not just on April Fools Day. One time I saw an item was out of stock, and there was a label near it listing a replacement item, that was in fact, not a replacement item at all. I love catching things like that. You amuse me Target. So long as you follow the rule to use a basket and not a cart in Target you will walk out with both you and your wallet being happy :) read more

I heart super target! I heart super target! Once a week I have to make a trip down to THIS specific super target to pick up my large gala apples. They have some of the most fresh produce I have seen around. Their meat selection lacks, but produce is ah-maz-ing! All their prices are fairly low too. They have everything you can imagine. My fat free redi whip for $1.99! My Sara Delightful bread for $3 bucks! I can't go to this place without dropping a decent load of money. It's clean, it's awesome :) good stuff. read more

I don't shop much at Target, and never grocery shop here, but I need to pop by sometimes, especially since I NEVER shop at Walmart and CVS can really price gouge you when items aren't on sale. I've purchased some really cool thank you cards and decent gift wrap items from here. Their Starbucks also has excellent service. I have noticed my family has recently become a fan of their Up & Up brand, though Kirkland Signature is still my favorite store brand. It's nice that they carry a varied skincare/cosmetics selection, and their non-perishable grocery items can carry some surprisingly nice brands (Starbucks). I've seen some upscale home brands here too, like OXO, but they were priced accordingly high. Overall it's not the best Target (neighborhood and clientele can be off-putting), but I've been happy with the items I've purchased here, and the lines haven't been soul crushing during the hours I've shopped at. I also have always felt that inside the store was clean and safe, which is more than I can say for the nearby Walmart. read more

This is my neighborhood target location. It's a super target so I can get my grocery shopping and other necessities done at the same time which is very convenient! I also go to their optical department and everyone there is great too. Even though they can get pretty busy, they keep plenty of registers open so I have never had to wait in a long line. As long as you don't mind the construction constantly going on with the light rail, this is a great target! read more

Put it this way. At one end of Spectrum Mall is Wal-mart SuperCenter. At the other end is Super Target. The distance between the two stores isn't all that far. But the difference between them is vast. Super Target is extremely clean, well lit, and well stocked. It's also usually quiet which is a great plus. Large signage hanging from the ceiling helps you navigate the store with ease. And the prices are quite comparable with Wal-mart pricing. And check out the bakery/deli section. Most of the time there are free samples to be had. Shopping plus snacks. I've been there on weekend days where they have vendors handing out free samples throughout the grocery section. If I am in the Christown/Spectrum Mall area and need to go to a discount department store to pick up groceries and basic needs I know which end of the parking lot I'm headed to. read more

I love this store! I have done a price comparison of the 40 items I use most Target vs. Wal-Mart and it was 50/50. Sometimes Target was cheaper and other times Wal-Mart was cheaper. So there is NO reason to go to Wal-Mart if you think it is cheaper there, it isn't necessarily. Target is cleaner, better organized and have a better class of shopper. I went into the optical center here with my new prescription and was greeted by Laurel. She was THE BEST! She was helpful, pleasant, personable and was quite respectful of my time. I REALLY like this target, but the cashier's seem like someone has told them to be impersonal. Laurel hooked me up and when I left I felt like I got EXACTLY what I wanted. She was patient and today I got a text that said my glasses were back. FAST! I was not looking for that text for another week or so. LOVE the selection of frames, Laurel's explanation of my benefits and my options were spot on. I can't believe it is cheaper to buy a new pair of glasses than replace the prescription, but ok. Other targets dont compare, I remember when this shopping center had no target and an old under ground harkins theatre. Shoutout to Samantha at the Starbucks here. She was awesome the entire time I was there waiting for my drink. The line was super long, as usual, but she greeted everyone with pep. She was even really thoughtful and kind to a disabled customer as she seamlessly walked him through ordering his drink. On top of that, it appeared as though it was time for her to get off work. She stayed, helped her team, and asked if her coworker needed anything - including emotional support. Lol - before she took off. She's a great employee with awesome customer service. SuperTaget LOVE OK so compare uh a frosty PBR to um lets say a 50 year old bottle of Glenfiddich (I'm a whiskey girl!) That is how I would compare walmart to SUPERTARGET. I do go to walmart and I go in proudly, but its just not as super. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS WHEN I GO I WANT TO BUY EVERYTHING!!! It's an illness, I can't help it. Even if I don't find something....which is rare...I usually end up grabbing a bunch of stuff from those darn dollar bins. The home goods and kitchen stuff are aHHmaZiZIng. My apartment is eventually going to look like it could be in a target ad, which is just sad. They have pretty cute clothes too and I love the fact they have big time designers making brands for target. I don't buy to much food there...I usually just get my veggie chips and soy milk and occasionally check out the Fruit and Seafood selection. The store as a whole is impeccable with it's cleanliness and the Customer service is wonderful. read more

This Target store sells expired grocery products! After a recent grocery trip, I discovered three of my cold food items were expired! One expired in March 2017, the other July 2017, and the other November 2017! It's December 2017, so they are selling grocery products over 1 month, 5 months, and 6 months old! Absolutely ridiculous and risky! Clearly this store has poor management and the employees aren't checking food expiration dates on grocery products being sold at the store! Target your pharmacy staff needs some serious help. My healthcare provider wrote a script for a medication that was an injectable, some needles, and a syringe. Nevertheless, when I picked up the medication the syringe was on order and you could not find my order for needles. Then when I go to get my injection, I find out that the pharmacy staff was arguing with my doctors office on the size of needles needed. Who is my health care provider? Ugh, I should have taken this particular script to CVS or someplace that does not have a 4 tech to 1 actual pharmacist ratio. All for that $10 giftcard coupon. Now I'm not sure if that free bottle of Cheer was worth it for all this hassle. I guess maybe if my clothes stay colorful and bright I can laugh about this. Remind me next time Target I will only bring you prescriptions with monosyllabic words. Shish. read more

This target is pretty decent, though it's not as big as some of the other ones I've been to and has less options in the deli area, which is sad because I actually like some of Target's freshly prepared stuff. This one also has minimal produce options, especially organic options. A lot of the staff that I have seen here have been either really great and accommodating or just unprofessional. For example: I worked with some sort of supervisor about a return and he was really not knowledgeable about Target's procedures and wasn't really helpful. However, a few of the check-out cashiers are great and very nice/helpful with whatever you need. In the end, the amount of nice, knowledgeable, professionals outweighs the amount of potentially fire-able people. read more

This is a great Target. Lots of nice employees and always greet you with a smile. Even the Starbucks people do so. VERY clean inside and out! Would recommend instead of the Wal-Mart on the other side of the plaza. The only bad is it's right next to the light rail station. This by far is my favorite Target. They are very easy on the refunds and exchanges, the store is usually very clean for the most part. The staff is helpful and not as overbearing or suspicious that your going to steal lol. I'd gladly keep paying a bit more to shop at Target than deal with the alternatives. read more

I am a big fan of the Target snack bar. I always get the pizza hut sticks combo. However, I am not a fan of employees chit- chatting in the back while there are no napkins & dirty tables. This Target is where I normally shop. The problem with the homeless and/or non-customers is out of control. Today I had to actually use the restroom. One of two stalls was out of service and the homeless guy that left the working stall left it broke. I tried using the family restroom but it was locked. And of course there is no help offered by the staff. After 5 minutes of waiting and knocking, two non-customers a male and a female walk out. They sure weren't changing a baby's diaper more like trying to make a baby. Now I get why there is signs in other professional establishments to note that bathrooms are for paying customers only. How ridiculous of a place like Target to allow your regular customers to be inconvenienced and your place occupied and trashed by non-customers. It sucks. If you can't meet the basic needs of your customers and your as big as Target... you've lost control of your store. Don't you all have security? A store manager was working on portable racks just outside the restrooms. She sure didn't stop those customers and didn't offer any solution. read more

I have to say I love coming to this target its very welcoming and very friendly I have to say. You can tell Target employees go through proper training when dealing with their customers. they greet you when arriving and leaving their stores. I understand their merchandise are probably more expensive than Wal-Mart but their merchandise are in better quality and their atmosphere is very calm not so crowded like other places. What I have to add, the main reason I enjoy coming here is that their checkout lanes are not a mile long, their staff really work hard to get you on your way. read more

I love shopping at this Target! I buy everything that I need here including my groceries. Most recently, I ordered cupcakes for my child's birthday party from this location. They completed my order 100% correct and guests commented on how delicious and fresh they were. This locations is always clean and stocked. The store is easy to walk through and organized in a way that makes finding products simple. The employees are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The checkout lines are always short. As a bonus, this Target has everything! Groceries, fresh bakery, clothing, toys, electronics, a pharmacy, photo processing, Starbucks, and a snack bar (with Pizza Hut)...this location is #1. read more

Went to look for a Christmas tree since it's holiday season. The tree selection was not as comprehensive as what they have online. But I like to just wander around Target aimlessly to look for things to buy. Of course, I end up with a ton of items I didn't intend to buy in the first place. This location is nice and clean so I do prefer to browse here over Walmart any day! The cashiers are fairly expedient and friendly. Haven't filled any prescription here or print any photos so don't know what those departments are like. read more
