Hi there, I just wanna write a review because my teacher requires that for the assignment. However, I came there one time to buy some things, but I the price was not as the same as the label. Someone changed the goods on the shelf, so I thought that was its price. When I paid for my stuff, the price was different, almost doubled. If I wanted to return, I would have to go to the customer service. It might take me for a long time. I couldn't return at the counter. I just love how you always find what you need and if you can't find it they help you find it a different location and if not they will order it online. My daughters and I went to this location, with my oldest daughter's ESA service dog. Each employee we passed either glared at us, or was extremely rude to us. The dog is still in training, so yes, he did barked a couple of times, but we quickly got him under control and reminded him that he was working. One particular gentleman approached my daughter, with an attitude that she was way below him asked if he was in fact a service dog, to which she answered him and showed the dog's credentials. He walked off in a huff. The employees here needs to realize that service dogs are to help their owners in whatever needs they are trained for, and their are many needs that require service dogs. The owner of the dog is as much a customer as someone that comes in without an animal. But we have never been treated with such disrespect while with the dog. read more

The store is ususally empty and so clean and quiet. Very nice! It's still new and most people on the area prefer to shop across the street at WalMart which is perfectly fine with me ( I dislike that place). The only complaint I have is they tend to have 1 checker open at all times. But they are quick to open another if they line gets long. I'm a huge fan of Target and I'm so glad that they have opened one so close to home. I love being able to go in there and quickly grab whatever it is that I need and go. The employees have always been helpful and this location is always neat considering the fact that it's in Pomona. I can say that cause I live here! Anyhow, I love that they always have what I'm looking for and the convenience of it being so close to home. This is a review for the pharmacy. My doctor prescribed me a medication and I took it in right away. It took 3 weeks to get it filled and when I picked it up, it was the wrong dosage. It took another week after that to get the proper dose. Then I reordered online and a month later I finally find out that it came in but they sent it back. Yeah, a phone call to pick it up would have been appreciated. Needless to say, in 3 months of needing this med, I've only been able to take it for 1 month. They are very lucky that this was not a cardiac med or anti-epileptic. Needless to say, that was my first, and will be my last, experience with a target pharmacy. read more

Please, don't get me wrong. I love my Target in Diamond Bar especially the Pharmacy Department. I've written a review previously about them. This has to do with the newer Target in Pomona. Again, I really do love Target and this one is just more to love, HOWEVER, this one has an optical department. As much as I love the Pharmacy at D.B. Target, I have come to detest the optical department at Pomona Target. Let me make my case. A few weeks ago I found out that the newer Target had an optical department. To me and everyone else in the western world, that would mean they have an optometrist. They do. Expecting to go to a wedding soon in Oklahoma and having recently broken my Rx Sunglasses, I went to Target to check out the prices and to definitely get an eyeglass prescription. After finding the prices there were just as high as the rest, I had the eye exam done for a prescription to use for Rx Sunglasses purchase on line. The usual Optometrist was not in that day but a young man whose name I can't read on the prescription in front of me...Benjamin? something, was told that I needed a lens prescription to purchase some Rx Sunglasses on line. I told him they would be bifocal or progressive depending on what I picked out. He repeated that back to me during our conversation. Everything went smoothly as far as I could tell, having done this three or four times in the past. He gave me the prescription, I looked at it and, noticing some blank space blocks, asked him if this was everything I needed. I was assured it was and if their were any problems to have them call him. I paid the young man $65.00. I went on line to Glasses USA, picked out two different Rx Sunglass frames which I was able to do for the price of ONE pair at Target Optical or anywhere else I've dealt with to date. I filled in the numbers exactly as was given on my prescription, It was quite easy really and paid for their second fastest shipping to get them here in time for my trip. A week later, I get a call from Glasses USA. The prescription given did not have the "ADD" column filled in as needed for progressive lenses. I said, "You haven't even STARTED on them yet and you're just NOW calling me? Moving on, I read him the numbers on my prescription again and verified that the prescription couldn't be used without the final numbers. I gave him the number of Target Optical and he agreed to call them ASAP and said he would send the glasses Express Mail at their cost. Another few days go by and Target calls to tell me that they got a call from Glasses USA and I have to come in and do it all over again. I was incensed! They should have called me IMMEDIATELY after getting the call from Glasses USA, they chose not to. I go in the following Monday, having already checked on line for the Pomona Target Optical hours...Mon thru Fri 10AM to 8PM. Check! The optical department is open but there is no optometrist on Mondays. I come back late Tuesday, WELL before 8PM, the optometrist left at 5:30 or 6PM. I asked for my check back. Finally, the meat of the matter. My conversation Tuesday evening and my phone conversation today with the optical department manager Laural Dellapenna or something like that, was the absolute worst. I was always put on the defensive, like this is all my fault. The phone conversation with her was like one would imagine a bill collector and a person teetering on bankruptcy. The explanation I received about the advertised hours being blatently misleading was, "The law prohibits us from discussing anything about the optometrist as they are not employed by Target". She went on to say her hours are posted on her door. I asked her how the general public is supposed to know this, that the hours posted on line for Target's optical department has nothing to do with when you can get your eyes examined. She repeated the hours are posted on her door. She was also insistant that she couldn't give me a refund as the prescription was perfectly fine. No matter my argument that it WASN'T perfectly fine as I could not purchase Rx Sunglasses with them due to MISSING data. "You probably didn't tell the optometrist you were getting bifocal lenses", was her reply. I reminded her that I EXPRESSLY told the young man what I wanted and what the prescription was needed to purchase. "Well people can make mistakes", replied the manager. Yes they can Ms. Laural and that's when you are entitled to a refund so you can take your business elsewhere. Now I have to wait until tomorrow, yet another day, to talk to the optometrist, IF THERE IS ONE, and make sure I'm getting my money back. Yes, it would be easier for me to go in and have the regular optometrist fill in the numbers needed but after having to suffer through arguing with the manager of that department and being made to feel that this is all my fault, TWICE, I don't think so... read more

The cleanest and well stocked Target I have been into so far! The associates are very nice and welcoming. I have been shopping there now like four times a weak, beats Walmart two blocks away. No long lines and great prices. The cosmetic area is well stocked and straightened. Walmarts is so messy and everything out of place. And the majority of their clientele are gang members and ghetto families who don't watch their kids running around. read more

I went in to pick up a few things on my lunch hour. The only two available lines were really long even though there were at least six employees wandering around through the store. The cashier had to go to another register and borrow a phone to figure out the change for a $23.97 sale when the woman gave her $25. Seriously? She had to leave the line again when a manager wouldn't come up to help with a coupon. After finally finishing my transaction, I went to the service desk and asked to speak to a manager. The manager kept asking the customer service rep why she had to come up there. I won't be going to this Target again. read more

I always love target because it's a better shopping experience. This target in particular I went to because of its location to my new house. I have to say it was my worst shopping experience by far. I do all my shopping at target because I have always preferred the items to other stores. The cashier was very rude. She didn't offer to bag our items and when we asked for bags she said go ahead and bag it yourself. Mind you there were several customers in line behind us staring in disbelief of the utter disrespect. She was raising her voice seemed very irritated. We gave her no reason to act this way. I was very polite even after her rudeness as I watched my poor husband bag the items. I am disabled and if I would've have been there by myself I would've just walked out. I spent my hard earned money here to be treated like crap. I spent hundreds of dollars for new stuff for my house just to leave feeling like I was disrespected. I will never return due to this treatment. Target please do something. No one should ever have to experience that.
