The first thing that happened off the bat was I said hi to the worker who by the way didn't have a name tag. She ignored me which I figured maybe she didn't hear me. Whatever it's fine, later she tells me about the tjmaxx card but I let her know I already have it but as I'm telling her she starts talking to her coworkers on the side with attitude because the machine next to her wasn't working & it kept calling customers up. Once she was done talking to them she mentions the card again and I told her "oh no thanks" she cuts me off and points at me and says "no not you" then points at my sister and says to her "you" that's when I started to feel very upset and dismissed. My sister caught onto it as well. One thing I also noticed is she saw she was out of receipt paper but didn't put any in until once she was done with my transaction so now that I checked the receipt to get her employee number it doesn't have it. Go figure. Once it was my sisters turn to pay her items the girl wasn't looking at us she was laughing with a worker three registers down and she knew my sister had a delicate ceramic item but was being rough with it then when my sister was done paying she handed her the receipt and was about to walk off but my sister asked her if she can please wrap the item. Now the girl wasn't looking clearly being rude she snatched the item and wrapped the item carelessly and handed it to my sister in a very aggressive way then walked away. I had to ask the store coordinator for the workers information and her name is Mason. She's African American female with a neck tattoo & was wearing a low cut grey spaghetti strap shirt with an open button flannel. Very slim figure. I had such a great time Halloween decor shopping with my sister and mom but after that interaction it left me very upset. read more

HomeGoods in general is a very awesome store to get all good quality home necessities without paying astronomical prices. You'll probably pay $15.00 for a frying pan that Amazon sells for $50.00. They have very cute seasonal items as well. They're usually together with TJ Maxx so you'll also find clothing for the whole family. The BEST thing about HomeGoods and TJ Maxx? Their $0.99 reusable bags! It is SO cute, SO handy to use for grocery shopping, and it changes every week. I intentionally go shopping without a bag just so I can purchase a new one. Don't ask me how many bags I have already... (80+) HomeGoods in Chino Hills is within the busy shopping centers. They're very busy, but don't let the long lines scare you when you enter the store - they are usually fully staffed on the weekends and the line goes fast. One thing that did scare me when I walked in today? The amount of people sitting on the couch display enjoying the free air conditioning. Overall, no complaints here. I adore HomeGoods! read more

Homegoods as a whole has a lot of good stuff. The selection is modern, and the sale items are unique and fun. They also have an excellent clothes section, although I don't use it often. The issue with this location is the lack of workers in the checkout. The line has been long every time I have been here. read more

I could pack a lunch box and stay in Homegoods all day, dear. For every time I get in, I can't get out. Ton of goods, cuties, surprises, I wish I have more eyes. I found a purple rug which I have been looking for it for months, It's wool and it's only $99, I couldn't believe the rug was there looking at me, I was standing there and laughing for minutes. I told my husband but he couldn't understand my happiness, The good thing is, I don't care Keep shopping and hunting I have always getting something new in Homegoods. So I've been a patron of this TJ Maxx for years now. My wife and I usually stop by to check out what's new (they get deliveries every week, so there's always something new to see) after getting the $15 foot massage in the same mall (scroll down for my review on that place). They keep a neat store, and have a great selection of men's clothing ... honestly, I'm never paying more that $20 for a pair of jeans ever again! I LOVE going through the home goods section, because it makes me laugh out loud. So much so, that I started a Tumblr page of all the wacky crap I've found there. Always excited when A HomeGoods is located next or in the TJ Maxx I'm going to. Usually I have no idea there is a HomeGoods and am pleasantly surprised. Just like in Chino. The store is older for sure, but still has a big selection. Service is fine, there is plenty of parking out front. Though I didn't find anything this time, I would still come back every time I am in the area. You never know what you will find, I have gotten some great décor items and furniture at a very fair price (clearance) always worth keeping your eyes open. read more

This Home Goods is in combination with a TJ Maxx, so the selection here is less than at stand alone Home Goods stores. I would rather go to a Home Goods store alone than one that in is combo with another store. However, still you can find some good items here. I could easily spend hours here because the items always change. I wish I knew when they get new items so I can go check it out. You do have to really shop however, because not every items you find is a great bargain. You do have to make sure to do some research and not just buy whatever item looks interesting. However, if you are looking to decorate your home with not typical mass produced more unique items, this would be a good place to start. Do check items that you buy well. I've seen some stuff marked for super cheap, but they are broken or missing most parts!! This store also seems like a mess sometimes, simply because the workers do not care to keep it clean. I should had taken a picture, but the rug aisle was a disaster!! I went looking for rugs and pretty much 1/3 of the rugs were laying on the floor in the entire aisle. A worker came to place a rug back from somewhere, maybe a returned item? She placed that ONE rug back on the shelf and left all the other rugs still laying there all over the floor. A store that is a mess is not attractive to customers. I will still come here to try to look for more items as I'm still decorating my home and in need of many items... but I will also try to find another Home Goods store that is bigger, cleaner, and is a Home Goods only store. read more

I was at Spectrum shopping center and thought I would stop at TJMaxx Home Goods to see if they had a certain item that is a collectible for many. My daughter collects it and I know this store carries it, so I thought I would see if they had a couple of pieces. When I arrived there was already a line of a few people. The doors opened and I noticed a woman run towards the table with this collection and scoop up every single piece. Apparently there is a group of people who shop here regularly, and get here extra early so they can run in when the doors open, and grab it all up. I can see where people are here to buy it also, but the manner in which it was done was so selfish, and greedy! Just grabbing every single piece and almost blocking the table so no one else can get a look. I heard some people talking and they said it happens every time they come. I guess there really is nothing the store can do, or wants to do about it as they're not really doing anything wrong, just shopping. I just felt like it was Black Friday with all the greedy grabbing and blocking of people. This left a bad taste and I doubt I'll be back here. I really couldn't even enjoy my shopping after this. I like to get to the stores early to avoid crowds, but I don't like the Black Friday type greedy attitudes. It's a shame because it's a nice large store and I was looking forward to buying a few things. read more

At this location, bargain shopping comes with poor customer service. Don't shop here because the customer has no protections. I purchased a jacket and tried to return it 2days later with tags still attached along with original receipt. Because a TJ MAXX employee attached the wrong tag, Gabe R(some sort of supervisor) would not allow return or exchange. I guess all the codes/recript have no real value. Confused? So am I! No common sense and poor customer service. I would be more accepting if tags were not attached, but this was clearly an in house mistake. I didn't even know about HomeGoods until I saw one of the celebrity interior designers from HDTV shopping here. And the goods and deals that she got from there are amazing!!! Although you can find awesome decor for your home at discount prices - I came here to find supplies for my wedding. This place is great for DIY brides. They got baskets, trays, vases, candles, frames, an assortment of shapes an sizes of apothecary jars (candy buffets), planters, tables, furniture, and a whole lot more to create your dream wedding!!! This HomeGoods is inside the back of T.J. Maxx, so you may be able to find some good threads too. But because of that, their selection may not be as great as other HomeGoods that stand alone. read more

I LOVE HOME GOODS! This Place has awesome furniture, kitchen ware, linens, and anything else you can think of for your home at great discounted prices. Located inside TJMaxx you can find all the furniture and decorative pieces for your house in the back of the store, and kitchen ware on the right hand side of the store if your facing the back. The employee's here are very nice and helpful and they do a great job at keeping the store clean. This is my one stop shop for decor and kitchen for my apartment. read more

Yes, the prices are much higher than the others but you find less damaged goods and better brands. No big surprise here people, everything is current and on trend. I remember when home goods used to stand alone as a home decor store, so imagine my surprise when it coupled with T.J. Maxx. Savings all around! My first time finds included, a le creuset salt crock, Thomas the tank engine train set, illy coffee, cotton tank, and jewelry tree all for just under thirty dollars. The train set alone I've seen for retail at $40. I like to think I scored big. I love a good deal! I also saw a 10 quart le creuset Dutch oven on clearance (scratched enamel) for just under $100. Take in to consideration their enamel guarantee and for anyone smart enough to get it- scored too. The last thing I need is lugging home another heavy Dutch oven and my husband telling me to take it right back. So readers, get on that! If it's still there. I will definitely be back since we've been on the look out for area rugs and bathroom storage furniture. This will quickly become my go to place for better quality and current home decor pieces. I'm not sure about these HG and TJ hybrid stores. When I am shopping for décor, that last thing I want to think about is shopping for clothes. With merging the two stores, you are taking away room for more and better quality inventory. If you have to make them a hybrid, than build both and remove the jointing wall between them. This Chino location is SO unorganized in the HG section and everything is BROKE! I know HG is known to take in damaged goods that company's can't sell BUT I have never seen items SOOO damaged... This HG's takes the cake. The HG in Diamond is beautiful - great inventory. The HG in Downey is beautiful, great inventory... What the heck is going on with Chino?? Please buy out another location within the Spectrum and turn it into the HG we all know and love. read more

The wife comes here often and I go with her. You can get some pretty good deals on household items. They also sell clothes but I've never looked and compared their clothing prices. I assume that they are also pretty cheap. The lines can get pretty long even during hours you don't expect, but the place does a decent job about getting more cashiers when the line builds up.
