I came to pick up an order since another Target was out of stock for that item. There's only one line for both order pick up and returns. There was a cart blocking the pick up counter. Service is slow here compared to the Fullerton store. I hope after the remodel they pick up the speed. Most likely I'll never know since Fullerton and the Marketplace are my go to stores. read more

Today I went to target for a curbside pick up and had a horrible experience with a woman brining out my order. Unfortunately I did not get her name but I picked up at about 8:35am. When I got there she very rudely told me next time to say I'm on my way before getting to the store. I responded just telling her oh I did and she got hostile and was arguing with me that I didn't and they had cameras that saw that I didn't. I was so caught off guard by this because I knew what I did so I'm not sure if there was a glitch on the app or what but I can not believe she was that rude and Argumentative with a customer. If you hate your job so much just leave and find something better suited for you. Target should be ashamed to have someone working like this. I never complain especially about retail worker because I know what they deal with but this experience really rubbed me wrong. read more

I usually love Target, but I would not recommend this location. The things I needed were in stock, but the problem came at checkout. Le Target! I found what I was looking for online. The location is on the corner of Grand Avenue and 17th across from Walgreens. You can enter the store either from 17th Street on the south side or on Grand. This is definitely not one of my favorite target locations. The setup is pretty much like every other target but it doesn't seem as organized or clean. Target can't control the clientele and, apparently, that's the problem with this place. Excellent customer service here and it is worthy of recognition. This is especially true because they are so nice here even when they have to pick up after the customers. Great Customer Service! Lately every time I come after work there are 2 long lines of customers waiting. There is only one check out lane with an employee and all the rest are closed. Then there is a long line for self checkout. I understand youre short on employees but utilize the ones you do have and put them at the checkstands specially at rush hour. The customer comes first. They won't let one of you buy formula. They'll say only one person can & we can share. Even if it's separate transactions, different payment methods & different babies. The service here is the worse, whenever I go there are hardly any cashiers and a huge line for self checkout. I am currently sick so my brother just went to pick up my order(never did I see an id had to be presented) I put his name under my order as well but they asked for his id. I want to love this Target because it is the closest one to my apartment, but they left out over $100 worth of items from my Drive Up order and want me to come back to the store with a list of everything that is missing so I can stand there & wait for them to re-pull the items. This completely defeats the purpose of the supposedly quick and easy Drive Up service. this is one of the best targets that I have been to. The quality of the air inside this target is better than many others. but one of my negatives is the chip aisle has a bad Selection of chips because the chips are never in stock and all the good chips are always out. they have a good seasonal section as it is always in stock and always early coming, but their paints in the arts and craft section are over priced. The bathrooms are quite smelly but they are clean. and the back of the toy section is always messy but it adds character. Save yourself the trouble from coming to this stores pharmacy. Very lazy and incompetent and inconsiderate people who like to waste your time. I came to pick up my grandmother medication that ran out but somehow they never seem to have the medication on hand. Grant they send me text messages saying the medication is ready. They gave me the run around for about a week and have me picking up medication every other day. Then they tell you they will have the medication ready one day but never do. Then they tell me that another cvs has the medication and to call myself and see if it's possible to transfer the medication myself when that should be there job. I don't think I've wasted so much of my time dealing with people who don't seem like they want to help. The biggest headache I've ever deal with a pharmacy. It's very refreshing to see an employee with such great customer service. The man in front of me was checking out and kept on trying to run his credit card but it would not go through. The customer looked rather embarrassed, but the employee was so patient and he just said "let's try it again". They tried everything; tapping the credit card, swiping the credit card, inserting the credit card, using the app on his phone.... The customer looked back at me and I just smiled but you could tell it looked like he was ready to give up. The Target employee said "well, let's just go ahead and try it one more time". Boom, it went through. I don't know why but just explaining this right now, makes me smile from ear-to-ear. My first thought was it smells like pee followed up why are we even here? Don't get me wrong. I love Target. The one up the street is waaaaay better but alas, she wanted me to meet her here because it was close to the Petsmart and blah blah blah. It was super late at night which brought out the Walmart crowd. We needed a toy for a two year old kid and the toy selection was limited so we just grabbed whatever we thought would be best which turned out to be some sort of sprinkler attachment fairy tale princess thing. Whatever. Who cares? Inside, it's sort of a mess. And yes, the pee smell was strong. It continued to stay that way. Like a group of kids had wandered in and peed everywhere or who knows? I wanted to leave. The store needed a thorough cleaning. Upon checkout, the clerk, for some reason, couldn't figure how to use the coupon we had. She then called a manager holding up the line, the only line open, since they were closing soon which then created chaos and said manager had to open more lines. Ugh. Turns out - you need to create a Target account to use a coupon and then get a mystery code for your coupon. Are you serious? So we had to do that, then use the coupon, and then leave. Wow! I just a couple pay with a $100 dollar bill that did not pass when it was ran through the bill verifying machine. Instead of rejecting the bill the cashier went to like 3 or 4 different closed registers until one of them accepted the bill. It's good to know that if anyone ever pays me with counterfeit money I don't have to be worried about being screwed. This is a sub-par Target, located on 17th St. and Grand. I don't like coming here for 2 reasons: 1. I do not feel "safe" coming here. I am not sure if its the clientele, the neighborhood, the way the business is located behind a tire store, or how the parking lot is pushed back away from the street. I just don't get a good vibe here. 2. The place is a mess, and there's merchandise strewed everywhere. Its not kept up nicely, and reminds me more of a Big Lots than a Target. So why did I come to this location instead of the W17th Street one or the one on Bristol?? The Pharmacy. My doctor found some test results that needed to be addressed immediately, and said I needed to switch medications. It was a Friday, and I wasn't planning on going to my regular Target pharmacy in Fullerton. I wanted to go to the one near Santa Ana college but apparently that location does not have a pharmacy. My prescription was filled promptly. Since it was my first time at THAT location, the pharmacist insisted on speaking to me about the drug. His consultation was a joke. He basically read what was on the label: Take this drug every 12 hours. Not fond of this location, even if it does have a Starbucks inside. Perhaps the saving grace is their pharmacy closes at 9:00, versus than the Fullerton one which closes at 7 pm. read more

This Target went from trashy to classy in a few months. They have a full blown grocery store here now. It's not HUGE... but it's got good prices. 18 pack of eggs for $1.87! They even have Target brand steaks! I've been shopping at this Target for years, and I've never seen it look so nice. Looks like I'll be shopping at this location from now on. read more
