From the moment we walked in, he treated us with respect and didn't judge us at all based on how we looked, we came straight from work. which honestly meant a lot. He took his time explaining all our options clearly and even shared his personal experiences with some of the products, which helped us make better decisions. He was very kind, patient, and genuinely helpful the entire time. His energy was positive and welcoming, and we never felt pressured. Instead, we felt heard and comfortable asking questions. What really stood out is that he wasn't just helping customers... you could tell he truly supports his team too. He was checking in with employees, guiding them, and leading by example. It's clear he's the kind of manager who helps his team members and creates a positive environment for everyone. My boyfriend and I just moved to Orange County from the Bay Area. We needed to furnish an entire apartment as we got rid of all our furniture when we moved. We wanted to explore the area / mall and walked into Ashley Furniture to browse. We were immediately stopped by Zana and were told that it was company policy to follow around customers to help them browse. We thought this policy was invasive and didn't allow us to freely shop and consider our options. We also saw other people shopping freely without a chaperone so we felt targeted. She even told us that she thought we were teenagers when we revealed we are in our 30s with a child. She also kept talking about financing options if we didn't have the funds to purchase. We felt very awkward and ended up leaving without purchasing anything even though we need basically everything for our new apartment. Ashley Furniture should really reconsider this store policy (if it's true). Horrible products, horrible customer service, horrible after-sales support, and outright deception. I purchased a sofa from Ashley Furniture in March 2025 for over $4,000, expecting basic quality and honesty. Instead, I got a defective product and a company that refuses to stand behind what it sells. In less than a year, with a total usage of maybe 30 hours, the cushions have severely sunk. My wife and I are almost never at home, so this couch has seen virtually no use. There is absolutely no justification for this kind of failure. To make matters worse, I was sold an "extended warranty" with clear assurances that it would cover everything, including cushion issues. That turned out to be completely false. After two so-called "expert" inspections and more than six phone calls totaling hours of my time, they are now denying coverage and backtracking on what was promised. This is not just poor quality, it is blatant misrepresentation. I have two witnesses who were present when I was told the warranty would cover cushion failure, especially this early on. Now they are pretending otherwise. I will be taking this matter to small claims court. Avoid this company at all costs. I've been to this location twice, and both times the service was awful. The salesmen are extremely pushy and come off as rude. On my most recent visit, one of them crossed the line completely. While showing us a lounge chair, he made an insulting comment, and when we said no thank you and walked away, he said, "Are you okay? You don't look special, so what's wrong with you." Fast forward to today: the mattress has proven to be defective, and while preparing to replace it (I ultimately purchased a new Casper mattress during Black Friday), I realized the Tempur-Pedic warranty was still active. After being on hold for hours and sending photos no one has responded and been over a month sleeping on the floor with our newborn baby and toddler. Oh Ashley, you did your best. Eventually, I received my living room set. After four appointments, 19 calls, and taking a chill pill, everything worked out. The first appt excuse, we have the love seat and tables but forgot the couch and rug. The second appt excuse, the couch was damaged. The third appt excuse, they forgot to load the couch and rug. The fourth appt- finally arrived. (They called me 19 times to confirm the 3rd appt. And they still didn't show up) If you are unable to deliver, it would be nice to let the customer know. This way I'm not blocking out the window time to be home. After battling conversations with several people.... I finally spoke to someone that came through. I asked him "I have a yes or no question. Just tell me, is the couch is in stock? if not, I'd rather u tell me the truth than to give me an appt time I want to hear" - and three days later it was finally delivered. My boyfriend and I stopped by in hopes of finding something for our new apartment and when we got inside we started to look at a couch when this old man came up to us (which we expected at this store). He asked us if we were looking for anything since they had black Friday sales. We told him we weren't looking for anything in specific and kind of just wanted to look around first. His attitude immediately changed and told us if we wanted to look around we could've just looked online because "now is the time to buy not look". We became upset at his change of attitude and then he asked us if there was anything he could do for us after that. We told him not at the moment, since again, we wanted to look around first. He then basically kicked us out of the store and told us "then you guys have a good night" and nudged us towards the door. Afterwards my boyfriend and I left, in shock and upset at what had just happened. On top of that, he also mentioned to us that the shipping time of furniture pieces could be up to 8 weeks during the holidays. It's as if they don't want to sell furniture and hate their job. As well when I asked the sales rep when I was in the store to direct me to the softest mattress in the store was below $1000. He specifically showed me the two mattresses listed under alter Plush category. Both are sleep groove mattresses. I couldn't really tell in the store, because I only sat on them for a couple moments but based on what I saw online saying it's the softest bed in the store and the sales rep directing me to the mattress I figured I chose. I made the right choice. I am someone who NEEDS a very plush mattress!! The last mattress I bought from Ashley, was wonderful and ultra plush this one however, is a nightmare. When it was dropped off, I noticed it felt extremely hard so I waited about a week until it was fully out of the box and had time to properly expand. It was still hard so I called the store. They sent a mattress technician to my house on the 13th day that I had the mattress. Of course, I only had 12 days to return the mattress so this was not helpful, or remotely fair. I asked the technician why the bed was so hard and he didn't know why. so I did some research online about these particular mattresses. "NAPLAB" a VERY reputable mattress testing company did a full review and in depth testing on these specific Ashley Sleep Gruve Plus mattresses and confirmed what I thought all along. The mattresses are NOT remotely soft or plush (literally that's exactly what the nap lab results actually said verbatim). They rate the firmness at a level 6 out of 10- which is actually MORE firm than average! I have not slept one solid night on that bed - and I wake up extremely sore. I am very upset that I spent $1000 only to be misled. I never ever would have purchased that HARD mattress had it not said both online and in the store that it was "ultra plush". It's false advertising! I am a single mother who works TWO full-time jobs, and now I don't have a bed to sleep on! read more

I have been a long-time customer of this store, but my recent experience has left me deeply disappointed. Since the departure of the previous manager, the quality of service has significantly declined. The new manager mentioned to us that the former manager was let go due to "offering $50 discounts". We visited the store intending to purchase a dining table and chairs for ten people. Despite being ready to make a substantial purchase, the manager refused to offer any discounts--even on delivery charges. Feeling undervalued as customers, we decided to take our business elsewhere. At Living Spaces, we received exceptional service, including a $1,000 discount on an $8K multiple furniture purchase and 0% financing for 18 months. We found a great deal on a China cabinet in their clearance section and also bought two love seats and a sofa in addition to the table and chairs. Interestingly, the manager from the Ashley's called the next day, stating that "Corporate just emailed us and we have big discounts to offer you." A day late and a dollar short! I would advise others to consider alternative furniture stores that are more willing to accommodate customers with competitive discounts and 0% financing, especially in the current economic climate. I realize that not everybody likes to bargain, but most furniture stores will give you an unadvertised discount (on top of the published discounts) if you nicely push. Bargaining is obviously against policy now at Ashley's and they're going to lose out big time. read more

DO NOT make any purchases here. Faye was kind, but the rest of the experience has been a complete nightmare. I purchased a sofa, coffee table, end tables, rug, and swivel chair for my business. I canceled the rug the next day, but they did not process the refund until I called not only once, but twice to follow up. When the sofa and tables were delivered, one of the legs of the coffee table was skewed to one side despite attempting to readjust. Poor manufacturing and quality assurance. Then the real nightmare began. Swivel chair was on back order and was scheduled to be delivered 2 weeks after the purchase. When it wasn't delivered, I called and they informed that it will be delivered 3 days after. When it still wasn't delivered, I called again and they informed that it wasn't even scheduled for delivery to begin with. Ugh! I had to wait another week for delivery. For all the inconveniences and time wasted on having to make multiple calls, I asked for delivery fee to be credited and they informed that half of the fee ($65) will be credited. I still did not receive the credit after a week so I called again and they indicated that they will ask the billing department to follow up. I did not hear back after another week so I called, yet, again and they indicated that the purchase order has been closed so they can't process the credit. I almost lost it at that point. They assured that $130 Ashley gift card will be mailed to my home. It's been 2 weeks and still nothing. This has been the most frustrating experience in my life and I felt compelled to share so I can help save you the headache. read more

My husband and I went shopping here for a new bed, as well as to research a rocking chair for our nursery, and had one of the worst shopping experiences I have ever had. We were helped by Mr. Noel Wu, who was a very nice person but struggled to complete the transaction because he was very forgetful. Throughout our time shopping, we mentioned several times that we had an existing Ashley credit line through Synchrony that we wanted to use. Mr. Wu looked up my husband's information multiple times, which we understood also included the credit line. After deciding on moving forward with a bed, Mr. Wu collected my husband's information and ran his credit without us knowing, which resulted in a hard credit pull and a new credit line with Concora that we did not want or authorize. Both the manager and Mr. Wu insisted that it was only a soft credit pull, which was a lie as confirmed by the hard pull on my credit report the following day. When we asked why this happened, Mr. Wu stated that the "system" choses the creditor for the account. How does the "system" make a choice that overrides the customer's?The floor manager even pretended we had never said anything about our existing account, which was also a lie. We were assured several times that the account would be reversed and closed, but that was not only never done, but my husband was told the next day "what is done is done" when he followed up as to why he was getting more emails from Concora about this new account. Furthermore, the process of making the purchase was excruciating. We were in the store for hours as they tried to process the transactions and correct the constant mistakes that were being made. They tried to give us a lesser promotion (12 months no interest instead of 60 months) which we only caught because we asked due to the credit account issue that had already occurred. Then they had to split the order into two parts to correct this. They then put an address on the order that we had 4 years ago (not even in the same county as we are in now) without confirming with us or asking first, which created a further ordeal trying to get the address corrected. My husband had to speak to his credit card company several times because the transactions they kept running looked suspicious. Since the account and order was under my husband's name only, I finally left the store to shop elsewhere in the mall because it was getting too frustrating for me. In total it took us around 4 hours from the time we walked in to the time we left, which is ridiculous. In addition, my husband had to return the following day on his lunch break to sign paperwork for one of the order portions because they "forgot" to have him sign it. I can be very forgiving about many things, (like the high pressure upselling, which I hate and usually leave due to, and also happened from the floor manager) but the combination of fraud and lying around the unauthorized credit application really put this one over the top for me. At first we thought this was just incompetence, but the fact that they are still refusing to make it right by working with Concora to close the unauthorized account and reverse the impact on my husband's credit report speaks to intentional deception, which may be due to the likely staff and manger incentives for opening new credit accounts. Given our experience with this location, I would stay far away from it! I wish we had left without buying anything and just made the purchases online after we got home. It would have saved us literal hours dealing with incompetent and deceptive representatives and avoided a fraudulently opened credit line. read more
