Can I give negative stars? The business owner here is never here during business hours. There is a sign on the door, but if she's never going to be there then just change the hours! My friend got a very expensive piece of furniture here and it's been the worst purchase ever. If you plan on buying here, make sure that you don't want quality products. We have purchased furniture from this store twice. All their furniture is made in the USA so you do not need to worry about quality. Our most recent visit was a couple weeks prior to our moving date. Marlene allowed us to make a small deposit to reserve a dresser and two nightstands that we intended on purchasing but were not yet able to make a final decision on. We stopped by a week later to make the full payment. Their prices are more than fair, especially for the quality of product. My husband and I drove 30 minutes to this store since their website showed the dining table we wanted. We arrived during business hours and the door was propped open but the lights were off. There was a sign to call a number and they can be there in 10 minutes. We called twice and no one answered both times. I'm not sure why they keep the doors open with zero employees inside. They should just close the door and lock it if they're not going to have anyone work during business hours. read more

The shop owner, Marlene, was super friendly and outgoing. She offered me some cold water, as it was a blazing hot the day that I went in. She helped me to pick out a bed frame to go with the other pieces. The furniture quality is phenomenal. The pieces were all made in America. It is SO well made (made here in the US) was priced well, so daughter bought it. The quality is outstanding, she and her fiancé love it and uses it everyday. Just got a new love seat from the store (about one hour ago, I love the piece so much that I have to share right aw). After researching online and visiting some local stores for several weeks, I finally found the style I'm looking for. Although there is no sample on display, Carol and Marlene helped us to order it from the factory. The love seat looks exactly the same as what I saw on the catalog. We walked in and were instantly bombarded with lots of questions and comments about anything we looked at. The lady was very pushy. We ended up liking a dresser and a bed frame. She then tried forcing us to get a mattress from then and got upset and rude when we did not buy the mattress. We pay for our items and are insured that we will receive a call the day of or day before delivery of the items. The next week as we are about to leave they knock on our door and tell us that our items are here for delivery. Note this is a bed frame and a dresser we were waiting for the call to clear the room so we could still sleep in the bed and not just on a Mattress on the floor and we still needed to order a mattress from sams which we did not get a chance to do because they did not call us for the delivery!!! What would have happened if we weren't there? Very disappointed that we did not receive a call as promised multiple times. We were in desperate need of a new sofa. I looked with my husband and child at a few places and realized that my husband is going to be very picky in what he wants. Forget ordering something online because my husband wouldn't be able to test it out before hand. We were very specific in what we needed. We needed a sofa that was between 90"-125" so it could fit our small 1930's house, but bigger than our old 78" sofa. It needed to have firm cushions for back support. We wanted it to have three cushions, so that my child would have their own cushion and wasn't stuck in the seam of the sofa. We also wanted it to have a stylish mcm look and be comfortable. Thankfully I found Marlyn and Orange County Rustic Furniture. Marlyn was able to help us design the perfect sofa for all of our needs. She is seriously an angel and a joy to work with. First off, he asks what's my price range and he tells me to increase my range or I will get fake material that will fall apart "within 3 months tops". Then he makes a condescending remark saying "typical Americans spend this much..." and asks if my wife and I did any research (which we did). He wasn't happy when I said yes. I wanted a couch. Knew my range and wanted to hover near $500 for the couch. May be a low ball, but I've only been married 3 weeks. Went to Ashley Furniture and they gave great customer service and knocked down a $800 couch to $500 to price match. Gabriel was awesome. Went in thinking they couldn't possibly have a sofa to meet all my specific standards. How could they? It's pretty small for a furniture showroom. Turns out they can comfortably fit a lot of pieces in that space and you can custom order just about ANYTHING for no extra charge! I loved 80% of the floor models off the bat, so it was a very difficult choice. Walked in a skeptic; left an hour later with a stunning gray leather sectional (plus 5-yr warranty) AND a cloud-like queen mattress that I couldn't pass up on sale! We visited here after eating out at the Rasoi Curry Point Indian restaurant. The furniture was unique and well made. The furniture sells itself, therefore the sales people should chill and let the customers browse in peace. The sales woman followed us around and made a comment about everything we touched or looked at. When sales men or women try to force a sale, I feel uncomfortable, and my reaction is to leave the store. Nothing is in the box, and they are all scratched. They claim that the scratches are because their furniture are rustic. We purchased 4 wooden chairs from OC Rustic. I called to return the chairs because we found the same chairs in boxes and without scratches for $60 cheaper per chair. That would have been $240 savings for us. Went into Furniture A La Carte today due to a sale going on. I had always want to stop by when passing my favorite bakery but never did. Anyway Karol was very pleasant in allowing my daughter and I to look around without over shadowing us and answered all our questions. I was happy to learn that I could pick the fabric type and color of the sectional. I went in to get a sofa and ended up getting my sofa, the dinning set that I was looking for, and a wonderful buffet hutch to match. Everything ended up being at a very reasonable price.
