This target takes my money 2-3 times a week willingly. I abuse my bank by making online orders a dozen times a month. Ordering everything I need for my household and it's ready within hours, the items are brought to your car- you never have to step out the car. Like that's not enough I still manage to come on separate days of the week to find more things to spend my money on. Shampoo, clothes and oh the pharmacy is also convenient. Get all our families prescriptions sent here. Targets always fully stocked and got everything, one stop shop no wonder I can't stop spending here. read more

So here's what happened. I drove to Marshall's, didn't find anything, walked next door to Target, and found a bunch of stuff. When I tried to walk my cart full of things back to my car, which was parked in the same parking lot two businesses down at Marshall's, the most California thing that has ever happened to me in my life happened. The shopping cart wheels locked. The cart became impossible to push. I was now trapped in a high theft parking lot with a nonfunctioning cart full of groceries. To make matters worse, I hadn't bagged my items, because I figured I would just bring my reusable bags out to my car when I got home. Since I had too many items to carry, I could not have abandoned the cart without getting some of my items stolen. It took me a minute to figure out that I could either push the cart a few feet at a time by popping up the front wheels, or drag the cart from the front while lifting the front wheels. This was also tricky because if you lift it too much, the other two wheels will also lock. So, due to Target's policy (which was created to be cruel to homeless people), I was now forced to ghetto drag my cart full of purchased items. Like...wtf Target, you can't even set the limit to the same damn parking lot? This was humiliating and I'll be contacting corporate directly whether or not they respond to this review. read more

Had the worst experience here today. I received a gift card to purchase a turkey for Thanksgiving and I also wanted to buy some other items which I wanted to use my EBT snap benefits for. Everything was rang up and I proceeded to pay with my gift card first, and then the remaining balance I wanted to use my EBT snap benefits. As a result, the system froze up and they stated that I needed to pay with my snap benefits first and then my gift card. This was a total catastrophe, in their eyes, and they were unable to refund anything on my gift card or make the purchase work. They stated that I needed to just cancel the purchase and forgo my $40 gift card and just pay for everything with my EBT and snap benefits plus cash out of pocket. I stated this is not acceptable and was dumbfounded that this did not happen previously at another target nationwide, and that there had not already been some type of work-around for the situation. I said well I'm not gonna just forgo my $40 gift card and pay for everything out of pocket. Eventually after 15 or 20 minutes of standing in line and all of the customers behind me getting fed up and going to other lines, after three or four other managers coming to resolve the situation they resolved it. But it was absolutely embarrassing and uncalled for. If EBT or snap benefits needed to be rang up and used first then there should be a sign clearly stating saying so. Do not hold up the other customers up or make the customer divulge their payment method as a result of your business model not stating what payment method needs to be used first or second or third. The employee that stated that once a transaction is rang up and a gift card has been scanned that canceling that transaction would not put the funds back on the card was absolutely wrong and held up the entire process up. It shows a lack of employee training and that they lack what they need to know to do their job. I already choose not to shop at Target and will not do so in the future. The only reason I went here in the first place was because I got a gift card from someone else. I will not be back. read more

Target Team Members were pleasant & helpful but the overall appearance of the store was dirty and sloppy. I had made my purchase online and went to the customer service desk to pick up. Merchandise was lying all over the place, receptacles for waste and recycling were overflowing. One other thing I noticed was the large number of vehicles now on the south side of the parking lot. This was not happening until after the large apartment complex across the street from Target opened up. I will only be going to this Target as an option of last resort in the future. read more

Conveniently located on the corner of Kawana Springs Road and Santa Rosa Avenue in the same shopping strip as Sports Basement, Marshall's, Pet Smart and more (Trader Joes is in the same parking lot/complex). If you're looking for all of the big-box stores, they're here. I'm torn. 4 stars for a bright, clean, and well-stocked store with lots of options. 3 stars for limited check-out aisles and long lines on a busy Sunday. Assuming they were understaffed - it happens, just hope that's not the norm. They did have an employee staffing their very busy self-check line, so that was helpful. This store has a large home section of Studio McGee and Magnolia products (a more open and pleasing layout than in the Coddingtown Santa Rosa location), a grocery section, and all of the other typical sections. I shop the perimeter: home, toiletries, snacks. Found everything I needed including clothing and dish detergent, hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, toilet paper, Hippeas, and more. The prices are generally better than I find at my local Safeway so it's worth the visit to stock up on supplies. read more

The service of the Target was standard as in there was a lot of self checkouts and checkout lanes. I choose to use self checkout although either lane works. The selection was slightly outdated as the toys were from a couple months ago and the cds some were from years ago. Although considering the history of the mall the products probably had a difficult time being sold. Although considering safety I believe the area was very sketchy. The value I did get a nice movie for $10. Alongside some cosmetic and household items. read more

I was a customer at Target Store which was under two court injunctions for prices being higher than the price posted where the product was displayed. Even with the court ordered injunctions, in my attempt to purchase merchandise, one of the items was rung up more at the register than seen where the product existed. During this endeavor, I informed the cashier that I would bag my own groceries. Through the distraction, which took 20 minutes to resolve, the cashier bagged $83 worth of merchandise. Not knowing this, I left the store, and only after I arrived at home, 100 miles away, did I realize this and contacted the upfront manager. I was told the merchandise would be delivered, even though I requested that a credit be placed on my credit card. None of this occurred. I made ten attempts to resolve this, over the course of a year, with no response; including certified mail letters to corporate officers. I sued, and Target Stores retained Morrison and Forestor, a major law firm, to fight me in court. Target's defense was that payment on credit cards was not the same as cash or checks, and therefore did not have to refund my $83. However, the standardized jury instructions approved by the Judicial Council of California included one which represented that credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal payments were the same as cash and checks. But Target Stores wanted a jury trial anyway. Jury instructions were prepared, opening statements at trial were prepared, and the jury trial was to begin. Only with the assistance of the trial judge was this matter resolved just moments before the jury trial was to begin. Target spent a small fortune in paying its attorneys' fees, while I was just representing myself, without an attorney, and where I am not an attorney and have no legal training. If you make purchases at a Target Store, you are supporting this conduct. read more

What's not to love at Target ! So many cute options and up-to-date designs but you have to hurry because things go pretty fast. If you see something that really speaks to you and it's the color you like grab it, as well as household outdoor and picnic where you know they have affordable Summer shorts cute tops and lots of dresses and accessory's. It's so great that they are now catering to a wider size range so the plus size ladies are able to find what they need as well. This particular store is usually very clean staff are very nice and helpful and they keep the shelves stocked. read more

I come to this Target about 3-5 a month. I love how it's always clean and stocked. Theres always someone at the door to welcome you in, And many employees nearby to assist you or answer any questions. I went in last night and was looking for sunscreen, I asked an employee for help, he not only mentioned the aisle it was in, he walked over with me. I didn't expect that but I thought wow how nice that is. Great customer service. We briefly chatted about this lovely weather and how he looks forward to going to the river on his days off. Self check out spots were closed today. The only reason I come to this target was for the self checkout I don't like to interact with cashiers when leaving I like to get In and get out and having someone else check out my items is frustrating and time consuming. They also started doing 10 items or less and I do all my shopping here i liked to scan and go . Had an extremely unpleasant experience today. Wish they open self check out boxes again they made life so much easier to a tedious chore that isn't pleasant to start with. read more

I went to Target to purchase a new single serve coffee maker. The store price was higher than the online price. At checkout, the cashier called the front desk and the gal came over to scan the bar code of the coffee maker. She said indeed the online price was less and they would honor that price. The cleanliness in this Target is rather embarrassing. Upon entering, you are greeted with debris and sticky floors. Not a pleasant first impression. Looking through this location, the shelves are not well stocked nor are they organized. It's a disaster zone. It often looks like a hurricane ripped through there. Just dont even look at the clearance section in clothes. It's a pile of unorganized clutter. This store could really use some TLC. I wouldn't eat or go to the Starbucks frankly due to the presentation of the environment. Also, check items before purchase. Three times now, I've opened the boxes to make sure contents are in there and disappointingly, the contents are partly missing or missing all together. This review is for the Target Santa Rosa, South. This store has gone so far downhill, it's unbelievable. It's unfortunate because it's closest to my neighborhood. But I think we'll need to find a new place for household items. Every time I go there it's worse and worse. I realize they can't change their clientele, but it's frequented by drug addicts inside/outside the store. The store has an incredibly low stock of all normally used household items (think: meat, cheese, deli meat, bread, milk, toilet paper, shampoo, bath soap, etc.) and the store is ALWAYS a mess. (See photos) It really shouldn't look like Black Friday every single day (except they probably have more stock on Black Friday! ) There is at least one employee who always wears the same filthy, dirty outfit and smells badly, too! The garbages out front by the doors are ALWAYS smelly and overflowing onto the ground. I am not sure when they ever get emptied. I don't know if this store is terribly managed, or if it's caused by financial cuts from higher-ups, but other Target stores in the area (Santa Rosa, North and Rohnert Park) are not nearly as bad, but you guys have GOT to do something. This place is a complete dump with very low inventory. If you need to go to a store for household items, I hate to say it, but make the drive to Walmart. Big parking lot, easy to find location. Big, clean store. Well lit and well stocked. I was having trouble finding what I wanted, and asked an employee for help, but he didn't seem certain about where to look either. He helped us look, didn't find the item either and then sort of gave up and vaguely stopped helping. I told him it was fine and I would just try another store. Overall good selection if they have what you want (we were looking for a plastic cereal storage container but ended up buying one next door at Marshalls because we couldn't find anything like it at Target. I went here to get a Starbucks and it was very messy water every where just one person Amelia I think was here name she was very kind good person. Went shopping and carts everywhere with supplies on them unmanned too, couldn't find a person in the whole store but Crystal and Omar with a couple other people in the front but I can't remember their name. I love Target. Living in San Francisco, I don't get to a real Target much. And the City Targets just aren't the same. When my work event finished up early last Saturday, November 14th, I thought it was the perfect time to get some errands done. I mainly stopped by to grab the usual toiletries and beauty supplies. Some products were a little harder to find since the layout didn't seem consistent with a normal Target, but I eventually found everything I was looking for. Plus I got a $5 gift card towards my next purchase due to a special on some toiletries. Score! Glad I was able to stop by Target while I was in the suburbs. Bragging about how they have all of them but one or how cool it is they get to go through the cases before they even hit the pegs. I love this Target as it is not too far of a drive from my place and my dad's old place. It is my parent's main pharmacy so I am here quite a bit picking up prescriptions all the time. I know the layout and I make my usual rounds to pick up medicine, shampoos, household goods, snacks and drinks, and end up in the entertainment section then off to self checkout. They always have everything I need whether it be small things you don't think of until you need it such as eye drops or pill cases. Great location & large parking lot. read more

I LOVE target! I know, it's not the best as far as the help is concerned, but I find that the paper goods, party goods, candles, potpourri, baskets,and other household chochkies are great, and well priced. The pet supplies are also very cute, and well stocked. The costume jewelery, accessories, bags, socks, belts and even the womens clothes are very cute these days! It is also the BEST place to go to buy baby shower gifts! They have so many great baby things from clothes and blankets, to high chairs to strollers!
