Much more extensive than TJ Minimum. A great place to Maxx out your credit card. And people often do. Pretty good TJ Maxx down in Sugar Land that we went on a late night when we were on our way to Sharetea and in a hurry. It was kind of busy (like your mother's brothel), and they had some pretty good stuff but it wasn't her favourite location. Still always good to get discounted stuff. It's similar to Marshalls and Ross. But nothing like Chandler or Joey.

Standard TJ Maxx. Variety of stuff that I look through trying to find good deals or clothes that fit.

Tj max is very similar to Marshall's. Sometimes you find good deals, and sometimes you don't find anything. It really depends on what time you come in the year.

Tj Maxx sells just about anything, this DIY Chicken Coop kit says so.

TJ Maxx isn't new, in fact, this store at this location has been around for very long. In the past, it used to be a store that my parents will frequent. Now, it's a department store that is around the same level as its other brands (Marshall's, HomeGoods). Things are in the same general section, but not extremely well organized or catalogued. My wife comes here to bargain shop, sometimes she will find those hard to find items on a bargain (clothes, shoes). For the family, we sometimes come here on weekends after lunch and just browse through the store for sometimes hard to find food items, accessories, gadgets, and a few children's books for our 2 year old. Today was one of those days where we finished lunch and decide to stroll through the store for some bargain items. We managed to find something each of us are looking for. Would have been an OK day except for what happened next. My wife, after we spent about a hour or so, finally decided to get in queue to check out, I pushed our sleeping toddler in her stroller by the front entrance/exit of the store and sat down at the bench there to wait for my wife. I was looking at my cell phone when all of a sudden, a loud noise followed by a jolt in the bench surprised me. I turned around, to find a store employee pushing a flat cart loaded with 3 pieces of bar stools had pushed the cart right into where we were sitting. No, he did not push the cart into me nor the stroller. That's when he said: "Oh Sh*t! I must've scared the Sh*t outta you huh!?" Yes, I was surprised and almost jumped out of the bench. I just stared at him in nonbelief, contributed by the fact that, there was cursing in the presence of children, there was no apology, and finally, he just finished pushing his cart to the front of the store (I suppose some customer was waiting for those) and went to be the back of the store. This guy must've really love his job. I was fuming.... Not wanting to explode right on the spot, I quietly got up and pushed my still sleeping kid (thank goodness) out of the store for some fresh air, only to be greeted by a few cigarette smokers perched outside. I pushed the stroller away from the store, and called my wife to meet me at our car. Probably won't come back to this location, at least for some time.

I consider the "boys" section to be under the "kids" section.

Let's be honest here. This store, much like most department stores imo, is catered for women. If you're a guy like me, there's only a small men's section on the left mixed in with a kids section which ironically is bigger. But that's not why I come either, clothes aren't necessarily my thing....yet. I only come for the electronics which, though not as extensive as other electronic stores, I can still get some things here for a good bargain. Although every now and then I go towards the beauty section (no judging people!) if I want something like a bath Bomb and such. This store is good being in a suburban area, but I'm sure there are bigger and better TJmaxxes out there to look for. But as long as my moms and my cousin love this place I will still be here (i usually end up the driver anyway)

We're not big fans of the store, but the employees at this particular location in the Sugarland mall are pretty friendly. We come here now and again while walking through the whole Mall which we do often, but we haven't really spent much money here. This is because even though Barbie likes quite a few of the things she finds in here, there is a religious theme, puts us off, and there is also the factor of thigh-high pricing. I mean the high pricing, but thigh highs are pretty expensive too. We would know.

My daughter found a few things she liked here, but after checking the tags, she had to put a few things back. We saw several things that we recently purchased at Francesca's at lower prices. The staff was sort of hit or miss. There was an associate on the floor who seemed a little bothered with us, and never offered any assistance. Luckily the cashier was helpful. She was clearly a motivated salesperson. She came from behind the counter to explain the layout of the store and to make sure we were all good. Bottom line is that we spent more than we planned to, so bravo to that cashier. She's got a bright future in sales.

Clothing is arranged by colors and that makes it easy when you're looking for a specific color of item. Colors range from neutral to pastel to bright. The styles are chic with a fun edge. The dresses range from maxis to above knee length. Tops and jackets are versatile and pair well with denims or dress pants. There are accessories sold that liven up and bring an outfit together. I like the colorful and lightweight scarves that are eye catching without being gaudy. The only problem I encountered was not finding small sizes in some of the clothing I wanted. Unfortunately, they were out of stock. Smaller sizes aren't stocked in bigger quantity like size medium and up. I did find several nice items but would have been able to purchase more had there been more small sizes available. I also wish pants were available in small/tall because the ones I liked were a bit short. The employee who helped me was very personable and nice. She was very helpful as well as a pleasure to talk to. She checked on me regularly but in a way that was not pesky or pushy. I appreciated her great service. Returns are available in exchange or store merchandise credit only so do make sure you are satisfied before you buy if you are the type who prefers to be credited for returns in form of payment rendered. You can sign up and register with the store and a record of your purchases will be kept in case you forget or lose your receipt. I like this store a lot and plan on shopping here again. I suppose I'll just have to check back often before the smaller sizes sell out. Hopefully, they will stock more smalls and maybe talls in the future.
