Didn't even ask me if everything was ok like how the other cashiers usually ask, she went straight to talking about my outfit and how I shouldn't be showing my body (I had leggings and a zip up sweater). Very rude of her and unprofessional I'm surprised she's a "manager". I go here often and I hope not to see her again. Made me very uncomfortable. Today I visited this location and at the checkout, I was trying to return items from an online order (eligible for in store return). Walking up to the checkout, the woman was really nice but instantly had a mood change when I said I had a return. One of the items I received in the mail is not what I ordered (I ordered jeans and got a cardigan sweater) but it's still sealed so I requested a return. She just stared at me lol...and the woman next to her mumbled I have to mail it in. I couldn't 100% hear and the woman assisting me still didn't speak so the woman next to her explained that since the items have to match, I can't return in store. I said that's fine, my other item is exactly what I ordered, but didn't fit so I am returning it. I handed over the bag that it came in (delivered last night) and the receipt. The woman then decided to speak and said "we need a receipt"...even though I have handed it to her. I said this is the receipt and she responded "yea that's what we need" and glared. Ok. lol. She glanced at the dress, glanced at me, glanced at the receipt and said the numbers don't match. The numbers do match. I said yes they do match and she said they don't without looking to check her error and at this point I don't feel like dealing with her vibe so I grabbed my items and repeatedly said thanksssss while she tried to tell me they do not match and as I left the store they laugh as if something was funny. If she was confused say that but as soon as I had said a return she didn't want to help. I don't appreciate causing a scene and being rude for nothing and I'll likely drive 15 miles out of my way than to deal with childlike behavior. read more

Let me preface this review by saying they get 5 stars and beyond because I've never seen such happier employees! I was greeted in nearly ever section of the store, the woman working in the dressing area opened the large dressing room for me because nobody was there. usually people just don't go out of their way and ask you if you want it I was in line and the woman from jewelry came up to me and said I can check you out over in jewelry. Okay that never happens at a TJ Maxx either. Usually you have to wait in a line 20 people deep. I'm never in this area and I was looking to bide some time. Of course you always go into a TJ Maxx with either no intent to buy or you have two things on your list and come out with ten! How does that happen?? If that is not you, then please give me your secret. I came to the store around Halloween time, I did not need anything Halloween but strange how I walked out with a Halloween item! What's awesome about TJ Maxx what is not only Do they have shoes, make up, bags, luggage, men's clothes, women's clothes, kids clothes, kids toys, work out gear, home goods - they are always GREAT for holiday season! It seems like every section of the store had something Halloween themed. If I lived in the area, this would be my go to store. It was just hot during this visit. I know they were trying their best by having those big black AC units in certain parts of the store but it was just hot. I was able to find a few things that I liked but it was crowded. Almost everywhere you turned someone else was up in your personal space. The checkout line was long and didn't have enough cashiers for the line. They allowed people to skip the lines and pretty much do whatever they wanted. Now this TJ Maxx isn't an exception to that, BUT their line goes fast as hell compared TJ every other TJ Maxx I've ever been to. Pretty good TJ Maxx down in Sugar Land that we went on a late night when we were on our way to Sharetea and in a hurry. It was kind of busy (like your mother's brothel), and they had some pretty good stuff but it wasn't her favourite location. Still always good to get discounted stuff. I agree with some of the Yelp feedback that this location is more for women shoppers. The men's and kids sections are quite minimal. This is one of the few TJ Maxx stores that has a brand name jewelry counter. I like to wander in the home goods section where I can find great quality olive oil. One time I even saw a new box set of All Clad cookware! The thrill is not knowing what kind of a deal you would find in these stores. read more

Stopped here while passing through on Route 6. I LOVE shopping/browsing at TJMAXX/Marshalls/Homegoods. I have been wanting a new pair of jeans and was able to snag a pair for $20. (And Jean shopping is usually the worst!) Cashier was friendly and engaging... not a robot. We'd definitely return. read more

TJ Maxx isn't new, in fact, this store at this location has been around for very long. In the past, it used to be a store that my parents will frequent. Now, it's a department store that is around the same level as its other brands (Marshall's, HomeGoods). Things are in the same general section, but not extremely well organized or catalogued. My wife comes here to bargain shop, sometimes she will find those hard to find items on a bargain (clothes, shoes). For the family, we sometimes come here on weekends after lunch and just browse through the store for sometimes hard to find food items, accessories, gadgets, and a few children's books for our 2 year old. Today was one of those days where we finished lunch and decide to stroll through the store for some bargain items. We managed to find something each of us are looking for. Would have been an OK day except for what happened next. My wife, after we spent about a hour or so, finally decided to get in queue to check out, I pushed our sleeping toddler in her stroller by the front entrance/exit of the store and sat down at the bench there to wait for my wife. I was looking at my cell phone when all of a sudden, a loud noise followed by a jolt in the bench surprised me. I turned around, to find a store employee pushing a flat cart loaded with 3 pieces of bar stools had pushed the cart right into where we were sitting. No, he did not push the cart into me nor the stroller. That's when he said: "Oh Sh*t! I must've scared the Sh*t outta you huh!?" Yes, I was surprised and almost jumped out of the bench. I just stared at him in nonbelief, contributed by the fact that, there was cursing in the presence of children, there was no apology, and finally, he just finished pushing his cart to the front of the store (I suppose some customer was waiting for those) and went to be the back of the store. This guy must've really love his job. I was fuming.... Not wanting to explode right on the spot, I quietly got up and pushed my still sleeping kid (thank goodness) out of the store for some fresh air, only to be greeted by a few cigarette smokers perched outside. I pushed the stroller away from the store, and called my wife to meet me at our car. Probably won't come back to this location, at least for some time. read more

This store is for women shoppers. There is a tiny section for men mixed with kids. I feel alone in this store. Other than that, I love the merchandise quality and selections at this TJ Maxx. Oh. My other pet peeve at this store is in the men's bathroom - there was no urinals. Shoot. Did I just walk into a wrong bathroom? But a Man icon was on the door. Let's be honest here. This store, much like most department stores imo, is catered for women. If you're a guy like me, there's only a small men's section on the left mixed in with a kids section which ironically is bigger. But that's not why I come either, clothes aren't necessarily my thing....yet. I only come for the electronics which, though not as extensive as other electronic stores, I can still get some things here for a good bargain. Although every now and then I go towards the beauty section (no judging people!) if I want something like a bath Bomb and such. This store is good being in a suburban area, but I'm sure there are bigger and better TJmaxxes out there to look for. Merchandise is good, store condition is fine, but service needs major improvement. Bought some shoes last week and noticed they were worn at bottom. Went to return and the cashier said they could not accept but I told her they were like that when I bought them. She went to check on something then started helping another customer! Didn't even say anything to me. Came back and said she called the manager. Manager finally showed and said they don't sell shoes that are worn. Apparently they do and I just didn't notice until afterwards. He insisted and I insisted. He finally gave my refund but kept saying "we would not sell shoes like that." Then talk to your employees and stop accusing the customer of lying! So rude. read more

I went here with my mom and I'll admit there were some decent prices on frying pans, but other than that I didn't have a reference point for most of the products. We thought this TJ Maxx had a great selection and was organizedl. From the opening display, it had my wife and I going opposite directions. My wife saw the large array of handbags and purses, and I saw the old Atari arcade game console on the let. We went in either directions just coming in! Great marketing on the part of the TJ Maxx employees. I would agree that their handbag and purse selection is pretty good. They have everything from Michael Kors, CK, and Nine West - handbags, totes, purses, clutches, you name it. We found a good deal on a Nine West tote. There are also plenty of products for men, including blue tooth speakers, turntables, drones, and other forms of electronics. Here's a hint - come here if you are looking for kids books or pretend play toys, especially Melissa and Doug. You can get some great sets for discounted prices. read more

I don't like this location as much as some of the other larger ones in Houston, but this one is close so it is the one I stop by most often.
