Came in looking for bags of whole bean coffee and purchased a few and one bag of ground coffee. The ground coffee was bourbon pecan for my wife and it was just average, not a lot of flavor. I ground some Space Cowboy Sightseer Coffee beans and brewed a cup....it tasted better, 4 stars. Picked up a bag from Dallmayr home Barista Coffee, haven't tried these yet. There is always a large variety of snacks at World Market that can't be easily found at your local grocery store or ethnic market, which makes this place special. There are aisles and aisles of snacks from Italy, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Hawaii, and much more. Not only do they have cookies, chips, noodles, chocolates, candy, syrups, baking mixes, dry pasta, tinned fish, oils, coffee, teas,and jams, World Market has a very nice selection of wine and beer. There's also a dedicated section to kitchen goods including cookware, utensils, glassware, and plates. If you're looking to find a gift, they have bath and body stuff, a small selection of clothing, pillows, some furniture and home decor, and seasonal items. I always have a fun time whenever I'm in store because I end up with something new and never knew I needed (or wanted, haha). With friendly employees that are willing to help whenever needed and some sweet deals that roll into my email, World Market is totally shop worthy. Occasionally, I find a few items that are expired and still on the shelf, so be cautious and look for dates. I started going to World Market in college and I never realized I had a location so close to home! The store was well stocked and cleanly maintained. One of the sales associates asked if I was looking for anything in particular which was so kind! Of course, I was absolutely just browsing around looking for random things to buy lol. World Market is such a fun place to just wander around. The variety of items is truly awesome. I ended up grabbing a few fall pieces that I'm really excited about displaying/using this season! The international foods are always so fun to look through. I always seem to discover something new. I'd highly recommend checking out World Market if you're in the market (hehe) for fun home decor, delicious foods, fragrant candles, or really so much more. World Market shopping on a Saturday is always fun. The location in Stafford Texas is close to Sugar Land which is why I like to shop here. On this Saturday the store was busy as people we're looking for lots of pretties for their homes. I went in looking for a coffee table and a pastry blender. I had several online coupons so I was able to save money which is what I enjoy doing when shopping. I was able to use a 20% coupon in store. And I was able to use a 10% off coupon for an online purchase!!! Shopping and saving money...yes! read more

Market down as a place that you can come for some alternative brands and worldly foods if you have the money for it. In general I think it's nice to have a different kind of grocery store, and I don't mind that it's a bit more expensive - but let's be honest it's a lot more expensive than a place like HEB. But then there are the downsides, cost is only one of them, and some of the imported items are way more overpriced than the same imported items at HEB, and then I have had the problem that one of the others had, which is that there are lots of expired items here and there, so I don't think they're checking the shelves properly. It's not an odd item. It's a consistent issue. At most World Markets even. read more

This is such a fun weird store. It's like part clothing store, furniture store, grocery store, total wine store, tourist traps and weird kitchen gadgets. It is the type of place that could compete with Target as far as how much money you'll spend. I save more money at Target then this place. I'm somehow always leaving with a bill over $70 and I'm never quiet sure how I pulled that off. As for clothing, it's not a huge section, just a stand here and there with random cute items and you can never know what to expect. I bought a dress out of season recently, that I'll be wear during the summer and some nice accessories to go with it. Then you pass the decoration/self care aisle filled with different items to meet your every needs. I've gotten two foot scrubs from them...because I couldn't choose between them. The decorations haven't met my needs yet, but man the other stuff can get you. Then as you keep walking and see maybe patio furniture an over sized lamp, you get to the grocery section from around the world. You don't know you need that stuff...but you need all that stuff. I found cooking lavender, plain British cookies, some weird and tasty Spanish style stuff, hot chocolate mixed with bourbon. Ah and then you hit the alcohol section. I keep getting this peach beer that's shaped like a champagne bottle from Germany, I believe. It's delish. Then the kitchen gadget/furniture aisle. Does your avocado need a rest? Do you need kitty shaped eggs? Do you need a tiny bowl for your tiny soup? What about gadgets to cut all types of fruits, vegetables, maybe even cutting your debt, since by then you've probably racked about $100 if you grabbed stuff from each section. You'll be traumatized at check out, but overall happy with your purchases. Great store. Just not a great store for shop-aholics. read more

Looking at lamps. Found someone to wait on me. They only have one lamp. They do not sell display model. So I would need to go to Katy store or Heights. Thought employee waked away to call other store. Yet she simply walked away without finishing waiting on me. Got her back. Located lamp in Katy and placed it on hold. While getting other lamp and shades for me she began waiting on someone else. So I finally completed sale with manager. Katy store better merchandised and employee and manager nicer. read more

So this is honestly my top 3 fav stores of all time! They have a members rewards program for when you sign up you get 15% off your next purchase! They always have cute Knick knacks and decently priced international foods and goods! From curtains to pillows to glassware to handcrafted tea pots from Nepal to incense to delicate jewelry from India- this place has it all. A variety of items that are fair in price! I am definitely little by little getting decor from here to decorate my space i to a chic Boho vibe. I really love this place. It is wonderful to explore this culturally diverse store during limited moments of travelling. Anything cultural and world related excites the heck out of me. Thank y'all for recently opening this store during such obscure times like this. World Market cost plus has always been a favorite store of mine. We had a location in Sugar Land a solid decade ago. It is where I would pick-up my favorite culinary related products. All things spices and dried goods. That location unfortunately closed down a long time ago. Fast forward in this present moment and we now have a location in Stafford. Just a skip away from Sugar Land. This location is not as large as the one near Galleria Post oak. Or it at least doesn't seem to carry as many items. I mean that location in Houston has been around for ages anyway. I am sure this location will surely catch up and given these obscure times. Still, with so much to see here, it makes fun for wandering around and picking up a few things. I have picked up candles, spices, halal gummy candies and chocolate to name a few. My favorite is the marzipan chocolate from Germany. I was able to spot a nice selection of various British and international teas. They have a great selection of mugs, bowls and beautiful pottery stuff. If you're into cultural stuff as I am.. you'll dig this store. It's my home away from home. Good service and warm ambiance. Always love the little jewelry and accessory section of WM; they have so many well-priced earrings (I'm talking studs for $4, dangle earrings for $8!) and I always get distracted by their home furniture (wicker is IN and I am OBSESSED), and, if I had my own apartment, I would decorate my house entirely with World Market furniture! I recently discovered these great vegetarian noodles there, and even though I buy them online now, WM introduces me to awesome stuff like that all the time! read more
