The Starbucks in this target is horrible. I ordered a drink there yesterday and waited 20 mins for my order yes 20. I ordered an iced latte with an extra shot like I do at all starbucks. There were 2 employees but only one making the drinks and he was new and didn't know what he was doing. When my drink was finally done I asked him if it had 4 shots because I added a shot and he said no its 3 shots I didn't have time to wait for him to make another one so I just wasted the extra dollar on no extra shot ohh well....the employees here need to be trained better in customer service read more

They've recently remodeled and are trying to make it seem like a clothing store aimed at people in their late teens/early twenties (think H&M or Forever 21). Annoying, repetitive music is blaring everywhere you go, and the new design of the store seems cold and uninviting. As far as the market area of the store goes, I do have to say they've really stepped up their game just recently on the vegan options (earlier review said the paled in comparison to other locations, but luckily no more!), but I'm really surprised this location doesn't offer beer and wine. I like a one stop shop, and this Target unfortunately is not it! read more

All agree with the reviews EXCEPT ONE. Target restrooms in both Ventura locations and other location including Oxnard and Camarillo are nasty. Problem is there is no air circulations. They really need to invest in ventilations for the restrooms and keep the temperature inside a bit colder. And more cleaning schedules and air fresheners. I was one of the crazy people last night at Target. I got one of the TV's and was looking around when Jess J asked if he could help me. He was so nice he helped me got one of the Xbox games my grandson wanted. He asked if I wanted the "Red" card he helped me try to get it and gave me the discount 5% at check out With all the people in the store it was nice to be treated so kindly. Not much in the way of vegan food options like some of the other target stores. Most of the staff in friendly. At times the cashiers seem to be bothered by your purchase and talk about wanting to go home. Don't ask those same checkers for a bag - you would think it's the end of the world. read more

2 stars only for location. Shelf's are never stocked and they don't even have the most basic items. Went there for yogurt(didn't have), turkey sausage (didn't have), and hydrocortisone cream (you guessed it, didn't have that either). Workers are doing nothing but walking around. It is a clean and well maintained store. The employees are professional and courteous throughout most of the store with a minor exception in the electronics department. The best people are in the customer service area. I have had issues with products and did not have a receipt but they still helped me out. The checkout workers are also quick and most of the time they are friendly. There's also some great deals here and many different items; from food to toys, to electronics. read more

I bought a jacket during the last rains we had and the person who helped one the floor was very nice and helpful but the lady who checked me out seemed liked she didn't know what she was doing. The Cashier needed to be trained more to see where to scan the jacket. read more

Had a small accident a couple months ago. Our stroller tipped over with our baby in it and my girlfriend was absolutely terrified and beat up over it. I wish I could remember the gentleman's name but he was a shorter but very built security guard...maybe alex or alan idk...but he came over and talked to us and was absolutely amazing with calming both of us down. Our daughter was only 4 months old and is my gf's first so she was really scared. He looked at her and said she looked totally fine and told us stories of how he may have dropped his kids a time or 2 haha. It was awesome having him there. Great Employee!!! read more

Why Target why? Do you not care about customer service or training your employees properly? I take my 19 year old sister to target she is getting make up for herself as it was recently her pay day, she spends about $50 on make up, and shampoo, there is only one cashier a rather large older man, he begins to scan my sisters make up, but as he scans it he tosses into the bag, tosses, make up, we hear it slam into the bag, after the 2nd item my sister yells no! And then he gets her expensive compact and slam! I am a manly man as they come but even I know that make up especially in a compact breaks and cracks, so I yell NO! And then he grabs my sisters shampoos and slams it on top of the make up, now we were pretty ticked, but shouldn't target train their employees because had he broken the make up it would become useless? That's targets lost profit that's higher mark ups in prices, that is something I am not ok with that I don't know why target is if ultimately it's a loss for everyone. read more

Customer Service is not good!! We bought a Xbox and it was broken we took it back the next day they will not except it as the serial # do not match ! I took this to the Corp level and they still will not return or refund a faulty product they sold. Cashiers are very friendly! People who stock... Not so much. I practically had to chase down an employee to help me with an item. We made eye contact several times and I politely said, "excuse me" but he chose to help someone else. There is another stocking employee who uses foul language and is very loud. The experience I had purchasing my cell phone at the Kiosk at the Target on Mills Rd was beyond any expectation. My good friend recommended that I go to see Albert when I started having SEVERE problems with the customer service departments at Verizon Wireless. I was a long standing VZW customer with several accounts and they were totally incapable of meeting my requests. Albert was very knowledgeable with the various providers and phones and helped make an educated choice in a very brief amount of time. In less than an hour we had chosen a phone, canceled my contract with VZW, transferred my number and all the information onto my new phone. Albert even followed up with me the following day to make sure that I was happy with my new purchase. This is absolutely the best experience I've had purchasing a wireless device and I am very grateful for the professionalism, effeciency and customer service skills.
