Mark and Ryan both helped me with my new sofa selection. I had lots of concerns and I've had trouble in the past with making a good decision. I really wanted to pick a sofa that I could see already made rather than a custom order. They had a nice selection at very reasonable prices. There sofas are made in Los Angeles. My husband and I must have spent about an hour sitting on the sectional we liked and spoke with Mark all about the manufacturing and our options. We were able to get the floor model at a big savings. The best part was it was delivered the very next day! Their delivery man, Al took our old sofa out to our garage and brought the new one in. Very professional. I recommend this company! We bought a sofa here for $2,000 and within 2 months, the fabric started to pill. Clearly poor quality for a high price. Really frustrating!

We brought my mother in to purchase dining room chairs. Our original salesperson, not MARK (notice the CAPITALIZATION), helped us with helpful professionalism. We returned to purchase more furniture. She was interested in a pair of reclining sofas. This time MARK (the capitalization is my way of calling him an expletive) helped us. He is perhaps the rudest individual I've ever met. Despite this, my mother purchased two sofas. It took an exorbitant amount of time to be delivered. They also sold us on a worthless insurance policy that covered " just about anything" you could think of. A short while later, a seam on the left arm on one sofa began to come apart. We called and spoke to MARK who was no help at all. I called and spoke to the owner (at least he identified himself as that) who called me a liar saying we never brought it to MARK'S attention. Pure bull! They did eventually tell us the process to file a claim with the insurance company. That was months ago! Still no progress. We recontacted MARK, the rudest person alive, and he said for us to pay a repair place and try to get the insurance company to reimburse. Again, such bull! This place is a joke! Don't waste your money. MARK is the least honest person, the rudest, and the worst representative a company could have represent them. It appears the owner supports this kind it's behavior since 1. MARK despite other poor reviews on Yelp about MARK) is still employed there and 2. the opener called me a liar when I brought up what has occurred. Please shop somewhere else! We live in Ventura and enjoy supporting local businesses but this place does not appreciate there customers at all. My wife and father went in to buy a couch the other day and were approached with nothing but hostility. From them being yelled at to move there car from a handicap parking spot despite having a placard and then receiving little to no help when we were willing to spend thousands of dollars on a couch. After my parents got the worst experience with Bob's Discount Furniture in Oxnard, My parents and I stopped WSW expecting nothing at all. To be honest I was hesitant on going here but, my mom kept pushing about going taking a look. To my surprise, this place have a lot of selections! They are great qualities and affordable prices. The staff here are professional and friendly. Ryan helped us with our purchase couch and 2 end tables. They were able accommodate us with same day delivery since we were 10 min away from the store. Ryan and his crew were able get the furniture delivered in a timely manner. They were very professional in store as well on delivery service. We are definitely happy all around. I am so disappointed with the sofa set that I purchased here a few years ago. They have NOT held up well at all. I was promised that their furniture is grade A quality. This is so not true!! These people are hustlers with a racket going on. I paid for an upgrade to a better grade of foam for the sofa cushions and did not receive that. In fact, I was frauded by these jokers. I also paid extra to have the foundation of the 4 pieces built higher than the original display. I did not receive this upgrade either. The cushions are now as saggy as can be and even more egregious is that the fabric is very badly pilled. I am very sorry that I chose this furniture warehouse to build my sofas and will never give them a piece of my business again. read more

I was referred to WDW Furniture by a friend who was very happy with her purchase there. I found the store well layed out and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking for a leather sectional and the options presented to me were quite expansive! The price for what I selected was VERY reasonable. I shopped at several chain stores and was not able to find the options and price to match WDW. I received my new sectional today. The delivery guys were reliable, prompt, professional and accomodating. My sectional is perfect! I love the look and feel of it as well as the high-quality. Wow! I was referred to them by a friend who had just gotten a bedroom set and sofa delivered. I saw their virtual tour on their website and was inspired to go check it out in person with the awesome things I saw! Getting there, it was a cool vibe and that small business level of attentive service despite how super busy they were. I had shopped around including to Ethan Allen around the corner looking for quality and I found it here instead, with a better price! They had a huge selection of innovative designs that really gave my place personal style. There was a big selection on the floor and going through the books for what I was looking for it became an even bigger! I checked out their outlet center and it had tons of great buys! The sectional sofa I purchased from this store began to fray at the seams within a couple of years of purchase. Although the store initially repaired the damage, it frayed at the seams again a couple years later. At this time, I was told to send photos to Mark at the store. He replied a few weeks later telling me that the fabric was not warrantied, that the manufacturer did not make the fabric anymore, and that I was stuck with frayed couch cushions. He implied that we had done something to cause the damage. We are a family of three adults, no children, no grandchildren, no dogs. We have never used any products on the sofa besides water to clean the occasional spot. The damage was due to poor construction and poor materials. There are many alternatives to this store in this town. I purchased a sofa from one over 15 years ago that is still looking good - no frayed cushions. My sister in law purchased a couch from Mark and recommended him. We purchased a couch and love seat for $2000. After a month we noticed the fabric on the seat cushions were shifting. The back cushions were beginning to look out of shape. After speaking to Mark he agreed to return them to the manufacturer and have them re-stuffed. This remedy did not work. All the cushions began looking out of shape with the material shifting again. It's apparent that we purchased an inferior product. From the reception given by Mark cool and unapologetic it's obvious that he will not stand behind his product. I'm done with him and Wholesale Design. Although he claims his products are far superior than Pottery Barn and Ethan Allen my experience does NOT support that claim. read more

While I liked the selection of furniture, it was waaaaaaaaaaaay too warm in the showroom to want to take my time browsing. Granted, it's Ventura, and it isn't supposed to be all that warm.......but guess what, with the high pressure system around, it was darn hot, and to have the doors wide open, NO A/C going, and not even any fans, well, they lost me quickly. I just don't like doing ANYthing in warm/hot weather conditions. That being said, I did walk through the showroom quickly. I saw some interesting potentials for dining room chairs (the item I'm looking for), and what was really unique was that the wood tones of the chairs and tables often came in a variety of colors...... I've heard of fabrics changing color, but never the wood tones. I kinda liked that. Unfortunately, the chairs they had on display weren't quite right for me. I need a straight walnut color, and I either found mahogany, cherry wood or variations on those....... but not walnut. If I found walnut, it wasn't in the style of chair that I wanted. He started to show me books with dining room chairs and tables, but (a) it was just too hot to care, and (b) I can't sit on the chair to test its comfort level. WDW kept showing up on my Facebook newsfeed. I was loving all the couches that they were showing so we decided to go check it out. The place was huge and offered a verity of furniture. We ended up finding an entertainment center along with a supper comfy sectional couch! The prices were amazing compared to other furniture stores in Ventura. The sales department was amazing and friendly and not pushy at all. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back for more! read more

In 2012 we went to this place to order a sectional sofa for our beach house. The salesman, Mark, showed us a vinyl couch he said would be easy to clean and work great with wet bathing suites. The vinyl cloth was really thin and looked cheap and when I mentioned that to him he said "Don't worry for $99 I can sell you Ultra Shield.It's an insurance policy for the couch. No matter what happens to the material they replace it for you. It seemed like a good idea so we bought it. After awhile we started noticing the surface started peeling off.I called Ultra Shield who informed me their warranty does not cover vinyl and that Wholesale Design Warehouse should not have sold it to us. I called Mark and he said on the phone that he was aware of the problems with the vinyl from that company who made it and they had since gone out of business. He did say if we come in he could help us out with a great deal on a replacement. So when we arrived we discussed the situation and Mark now said the only thing he could do was a free Ultra Shield. You mean you will give us the piece of crap Ultra Shield that doesn't cover anything again? I said what responsibility are you willing to take? He was fully aware that Ultra Shield doesn't cover vinyl but said he know nothing of it. He said they would not discount one buck off any couch for us. He would only give us the useless insurance. He needed his full profit on his sofa. Wow! What a scam this place is! Do not ever shop here! read more

I found the sales representatives to be corrupt and dishonest. My husband and I spent two years trying to find the perfect bedroom set. We went to this place and told the sales reps exactly what we were looking for. He found something that we liked in a catelog and promised that it met all of our requirements. We had it delivered and my husband signed for it, while I was at work. The furniture was NOT what they had promised! There were no smooth metal glides. The finish was very low, poor quality. It had chips and dings in it. The color wasn't even right! I tried to return or exchange the furniture and they refused to let us because my husband had signed for it. These guys will tell you whatever you want to hear in order to make a sale. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! read more

Recently my husband and I purchased a couch for our family room from Wholesale Design Warehouse. It was a hard decision between two styles finally picked one but wanted the softer cushions from the other couch. No problem we were told and it would be ordered with the softer cushions. After 3 weeks new couch arrived, looked great, very pleased until we sat on it and the cushions were the firm ones. Called the Warehouse and told Mark (our Salesperson) who said he would check it out and get back to me, never did get back to me. My husband visited the store and saw Mark and asked him about the cushions. Upon checking the invoice nothing had been written down at the time of sale so too bad for us we were told (not quite those words) but that's how it is. Very disappointed, not a cheap purchase and we are still looking to purchase a sectional for another room but we know where we won't be going. read more
