So great, we came here two times during our week here. The drinks are soo good. The owner both times came out to check on us and make sure we are ok, his grandma's recipes are also used in some plates, which is soo sweet. The food is fresh, full of flavor, just soo delicious! Also the huge Tarpons' swimming in front of the restaurant are insane too, they are really cool to look at.

Fantastic food (loved the fish & chips and shrimp po' boy) and cold drinks with a splendid view of the harbor. The team here is so friendly and welcoming, and really great with children dining (if you're a member of the clean plate club, you get to go out back and feed the fish with one of the managers). There are fans for breeze, and the tables are shaded on the patio. Highly recommended for a pre-ferry lunch!

Red snapper and mahi mahi tacos

Initially came just for the lobster! After learning that they had no lobster I was very disappointed but we still decided to dine in. I'm glad I didn't let me run away as I had the red snapper instead and it was probably the best red snapper I've ever had 5/5. It was huge, flavorful and so juicy and fried perfectly. We also had the fish tacos which were also delicious. The batter was light and didn't over power the fish 5/5. The service was also great! Grab some bug spray and head to this place!

I hate to give up a secret but this place has the best home made key lime and coconut cream pies on the island.

The atmosphere outside was very pleasant, the food was tasty, fresh seafood what a treat! The service was very efficient, recommend making a reservation for dinner. We did not have one and they were able to fit us in but few tables we available.

Staff is the friendliest we've met on the island. Had them cook our mahi mahi that we caught fishing. Recommended by our fishing captain that day and he was not not wrong. Fish tacos were delicious then my main course was a curry coconut sauced mahi mahi with rice and sautéed peppers & onion. Fish just melted in my mouth. Great atmosphere, view of the marina, can also feed giant tarpon swimming by the marina dock.

My husband & I came to Tarpons Table from a recommendation of a local bartender. We had breakfast and were happy with the food & overall service. My husband had the egg, toast & bacon plate with coffee & I had their French toast.

Wow, sooo good! Our car service driver from the airport suggested this place to us and she was spot on. We arrived about 6:30, plenty of tables available and we ate out by the edge of the deck overlooking the dock/boats. The service was awesome, friendly, knew the menu well and made helpful suggestions (not just generic suggestions). We ordered Shrimp Remoulade & Guacamole to start, Grilled Swordfish w/Crab, and the daily special mahi mahi tacos. As a bonus, while we were there, they got everyone's attention for a "show". Every day when the fishing boats come in and the restaurant cleans and preps the daily catch, they feed the scraps to the Tarpon. They let patrons of the restaurant do the feeding. It was so cool. Definitely going back!!

    Beautiful setting/view at Tarpon's Table.

Beware of the Automatic Gratuity…read more We stopped at Hook'd USVI during our visit to St. Thomas. The location is great, the marina views are nice, and the food was okay. We ordered the Fish Tacos, Jerk Smashed Burger, and a Frozen Rum Runner. What future customers need to know is that Hook'd automatically added a 20% gratuity to our bill, even though we were not a large party. Then, at the bottom of the receipt, they included another tip guide suggesting 18%, 20%, and 22% tips. In my opinion, this is misleading. Many people are used to adding a tip when they receive the receipt and may not notice that a 20% gratuity has already been added. It's easy to accidentally tip twice. I have absolutely no issue rewarding good service, but restaurants should be upfront and transparent when gratuity is automatically included. Customers shouldn't have to carefully inspect the bill to avoid paying an extra 20% on top of an already-added 20%. The food was decent, the atmosphere was pleasant, but the billing practice left a bad impression. Before you sign your check, review it carefully and make sure you know exactly what has already been added. Bottom line: Decent food, nice location, but check your receipt closely. The automatic 20% gratuity and additional tip suggestions can easily lead to double tipping if you're not paying attention. I've attached a photo of the receipt so customers can see exactly what I'm referring to.

However, the prices are half of the restaurant and are more of a simple meal than the restaurant. Lexie was our server and, honestly, one of the best and more memorable servers I can remember having in a long time. She was professional and yet down to earth and conversational. We threw her questions, and she was honest about her recommendations. PLUS, she was right in her opinion! So, we ordered three items off the menu with the Ahi Nachos, Grilled Mahi Sandwich, and Mudpie being the items suggested. All three were great, and the nachos were a highlight until the HUGE Mudpie stole the show. Cold coffee ice cream with Oreo crust and chocolate drizzle hit the spot watching the sunset. At the end of the day, The Patio is spacious with a full bar and sits right on the beach. It can get warm, and when the sun went down, the bugs came out; however, it didn't take away from our meal and our incredible service from Lexie.
