Went for Sunday brunch around when they opened. We were a large group with a couple of toddlers. We ordered water for the table and for some reason some people got tap water and then they brought a bottle of Evian that wasn't ordered. We ordered our food quite quickly since we were on our way to the airport. When the initial food came 2 of the items were not correct and had to be sent back. The quinoa salad didn't have any quinoa and the house salad with added chicken didn't have the chicken. The salad and an order of French toast did not come out for at least 15 minutes after the other meals were delivered and most of the rest of the party were finished their meals. The waiter was hard to find even though there was no one else in the restaurant. When the food did eventually come out as ordered it was good but the overall experience was so bad as to not recommend. The best part of the experience was the view along the water of the tarpon fish and other fish that were visible from the restaurant. read more

Amazing experience from start to finish. Ambiance on the water is chill music is great. The fried snapper platter was phenomenal perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The lamb chops were absolutely out of this world. Chef Roy even sent out two desserts, and wow... the chocolate bacon bourbon cake and the apple walnut cake were both incredible. It was impossible to pick a favorite. The food alone would have made the night special, but the service truly took it to another level. Our two servers Joanna & Mitch were so sweet, courteous, and generous young ladies!, they made the evening so memorable. They surprised me with a cake and candle for my birthday without being asked, which was incredibly thoughtful. Chef Roy even came out to introduce himself and sang along with the celebration. Spoiler Alert- Do NOT come here if you want average food. The food here is phenomenal!!! Not only that, but the atmosphere is perfect for a small, on the ocean restaurant. We came to this cute town on a cruise. When we arrived a few of our party members decided to do a beach day, but my aunt and I wanted to take it easy. We walked down the pier and found this restaurant. We were greeted with amazing water/Mountain View's, fish right by your seat, and cute iguanas. After we ordered the burger and a side of fries we were blown away by how amazing it was- perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also decided to get a few drinks. We enjoyed this place immensely. First of all, an enormous iguana was just wandering around eating whatever people would toss to it which was thrilling. Very friendly iguana. Was on the islands for academic purposes and not vacation so we didn't explore the restaurants that much but definitely one of the better meals we had. 13 offers a beautiful deck overlooking the port from where you can watch boats come and go, see visiting iguanas, and watch huge tarpons hoping for food from the restaurant patrons. 13 also has a great menu with many yummy appetizers, salads, sandwiches and other entrees. We chose the grilled octopus with potato hash (Delicious!) and soup of the day, a creamy tomato basil served with crostini. The soup was also very tasty, but nothing beats grilled octopus for me. Our server, Mitch, was very friendly, and the service was fast and efficient. 13 also offers many specialty cocktails and a good beer and wine selection. I chose a Barberry, vodka with blackberries and sugar and soda water, and hubby had an Ultra. 13 provided a restful, beautiful spot for an excellent much needed snack after snorkeling. If I'm ever back in St Thomas, I'll sell out 13 again. read more

Ok so we walked all over town and we're recommended several other restaurants and they didn't look kosher! We kept walking and came to 1.3 Restaurant and highly recommend them. The service was great and their food was really good, tasty and presentable!! You sit right at the harbor looking at the yachts and fish below!! The Mango Margaritas were good and fresh. We had the steak sandwich which we really good and tasty and highly recommend the fried cauliflower with the bbq sauce which was more sweet than spicy!! Thank you for a great experience!!! read more

I was truly disappointed in the food, it was a brunch menu. This was my first visit since the relocation to Yacht Haven Grande. Their location is lovely. Parking was easy but the food was overpriced, overcooked and unappetizing! It was about 2:30 when we came to eat. I had the ham , eggs over medium with grits, and my girlfriend had the French toast. Because this was one of my favorite restaurant's when they were Northside, I do plan to return and try the dinner menu in hopes that it will be up to par or exceed my expectations. read more

What a delicious restaurant in St. Thomas right on the water! Had Sunday brunch and enjoyed our food while dining on the deck. I had the salmon salad and it was cooked medium upon request. The grilled vegetables and the sauce on it was absolutely delicious. Husband had the sausage gravy with biscuits and a side of hash brown casserole and both were great. Such a mess! At first we were told about a special and that they were out of hush puppies. One of us ordered the special and the other ordered a fish sandwich which came with hush puppies and one side. So we asked for a side salad to replace the hush puppies that were to come with the fish sandwich. She said there would be an upcharge. The seafood dip appetizer smelled like the cheese was bad so we asked the waitress to ask the cook what cheese was on top. Some cheeses just naturally smell bad. We never got that answer. Then she said there was no special so we both ordered the fish sandwich which comes with homemade tartar sauce. The fish had no flavor so we asked for more tartar sauce. She said they were out of tartar sauce. (If it's "homemade", then make some more!) Then our bill was incorrect. We travel to St. Thomas 2-3 times a year. Not sure what happened to this once good restaurant. First, ordered two apps: calamari and seafood dip. The cook must have used the bottom of the bag of calamari pieces and dumped them into the fryer. No rings or tentacles, just little pieces with more batter than meat. Sent back. The dip came with four crostini chips. Not enough. We ordered some more and they charged us eight dollars for some extra crostini chips. Seriously? Then came my entrée of Cedar Plank Salmon. When asked, I ordered it medium. It came raw inside. I had to send it back. When I got the second one back, which came back well after my dinner partner already finished his meal, it came back raw again. Had enough. Won't be going back. There are plenty of other good options on the island. read more

We were seated in an almost completely empty restaurant at 6:30. We didn't order drinks or aps. I ordered the rib eye and my companion ordered a salad with grilled chicken. We didn't mind the 45 minute wait to get our food even though we were starving. We hadn't eaten since breakfast. When my steak arrived it was literally well done throughout! Even in the middle. Things happen but I've never had this happen to me before. The waiter took it back to the kitchen but he gave me major attitude when I questioned him. He said they could have my steak in five minutes. I simply said really? Thinking maybe I would be better off with a salad. He said, " ma'am the kitchen said five minutes. They're trying their best." Visited 13 again last night. Started with a ceasar salad, followed by a 3 lb. lobster which I split with my wife. The chef was very accomodating after initally being told they did not have the lobster soecial as they were down to their last few lobsters and were also offering a surf and turf special for the evening. We finish with a piece of chocolate cheese cake which was outstanding. It was a beautiful evening by the marina. Again highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I will forever dream about this meal. We'd been on the island for four days already and hadn't been fully satisfied by a meal. All the food we'd had was good, but not great. However, locals from every part of the island said we HAD to try 13. I was skeptical because it was just "American" food but DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PLACE. It was seriously perfect, delicious/to die for from start to finish. Add that to the beautiful view from the restaurant and super kind owner, waiter and chef! To start we shared the mussels and the pear salad. You know how you can have mussels and the mussels themselves are good but the broth is just meh? Well this broth we wanted to take home to drink it was PERFECT. Mussels were cooked beautifully, too and it didn't even matter the bread wasn't fancy (nothing to write home about) because it soaked up the broth so good. But as incredible as those were I cannot say enough good thing about the friggin pear salad. If I could eat something every day, I would have this salad. I've never had such amazing blue cheese in my life and I don't even normally like cheese. The arugula and spinach were so fresh, the vinaigrette I can't even describe but also delightful and the pears were unreal. I don't even have words, y'all this salad is foodgasmic. I personally had to scallops and it wasn't enough because my tastebuds wanted more!!! The squash purée was slightly sweet with the cranberry on top, plus salty roasted vegetables and perfectly cooked scallops, ugh omg my mouth is watering thinking about it. As for the cinnamon roll bread pudding (which may not be available it was a special), basically take a churro in the form of bread pudding and make it UNREAL. Homemade ice cream too. Crunchy on the outside, sweet and soft on the inside. So yeah all that to say, if you're visiting the Virgin Islands and you don't go here... you did vacation wrong (or you don't like food). read more

Nice little spot that I stumbled upon on a Facebook post. When we got there we had to wait a few minutes because apparently they want you to have reservations. I responded to the post of the Executive Chef or General Manager inquiring about reservations beforehand and he stated none is needed. They had bottomless mimosas for $20. The waitress was slow at refilling because we had to remind her at least twice. The restaurant was nice and clean and practiced social distancing with the tables. The food wasn't bad nor good, it was good enough for what was served; the hot chicken was not hot at all! Would I recommend this place? Yes. It's not a bad place but it's not some place tourists would usually dine at just because of where it's located. read more

This place is a hidden gem. Looks like a pizza place from the sign but inside there is so much more. The view alone is worth a visit for a Glass of Stag Chardonnay and a Grilled Octopus appetizer(early). They do have pizza but with Chef Tully Wilson in the kitchen the food attains a Southern and Island cuisine fusion. Home cooking that you'd expect from Atlanta with all the fresh notes the island has to offer. They open at four but because of COVID you very much want to make a reservation as they fill quickly. My one complaint - all red wine is served chilled, apparently due to a lack of shelf space in this 'new' location for 13. I can not say enough about Chef Tully. He and his staff went over and above my expectations for our Wedding dinner in St. Thomas. From the delicious Appetizers, the cocktails (he squeezes the lemon juice himself for the Lemon drops) and our exquisite meal. The Mahi Mahi-Mahi, the Chicken in a cream Merlot sauce and the vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself is an entire Vibe...the ambiance inside and the view had my guest in awe. Early evening or late night the view alone is breath-taking. The bartenders are friendly and kept the drinks flowing and were very attentive to my guest. Chef Tully takes pride in his craft and you can taste it in every bite. We have eaten at 13 before and figured to try it for brunch. We showed up 15 minutes early for our reservation to an empty restaurant. We were offer a seat in the corner where we had asked to one by the window. After asking they moved us up closer to the window. Ordered the bottomless drinks and found they were very slow to refill ( if you don't want to sell them take it off your menu) Order my breakfast with HAM and the waiter thought he could remember what I wanted. Got bacon with my meal but it took so long I didn't send it back. We had heard mixed reviews by the pool where we were staying but I think the nays have it. We came to this restaurant because it had 4.5 reviews. We ordered our drinks from Rusty and he returned several minutes later to let us know that the shipment of raspberries didn't come in today so my husbands drink couldn't be made. Ok. That was fine, he ordered something else. We then ordered dinner, 2 entrees and a salad to split between us. We assumed the salad would come out ahead of the entrees, ordered our wine for dinner. Again, Rusty returned to let us know the wine my husband wanted with dinner was not available. Ok , no problem again. At this point I just wanted food. Finally! Rusty appeared with our entrees and salad, all together. Then our server basically disappeared. My husbands steak was cold, the flavor was there, but it would have been excellent if it was hot. Rusty did check on us once. Then came back one last time to ask if we needed anything else and dropped the check. We felt very rushed, like we were more of an irritation being there (we were the only customers in the building). He never cleared any of our plates, asked if we wanted anything else which I found awkward while he held our check in his hand. The food was excellent, even though the steak was cold. But customer service is zero. When you have only one table in a restaurant and 3 servers I would expect more than this. I too was in the service industry and would NEVER drop a check without making sure my customers were completely finished, dessert? But mostly I would definitely clear the plates and then come back with the check. We felt as if Rusty just wanted us gone. We left him a 15% tip, far less than what we usually leave. My partner and i were visiting St. Thomas two weeks ago on a vaca and we were there for 16 days and got in right when it closed down for tourism. So we had all the time to pretty much eating out every single day and taste all the kitchens on the island. Let me tell you that after sampling the restaurants all over the island 13 is the hottest one of the best tasting southern fusion spots in town!!!!! I won't even attempt to recommend one or two or anything specific because EVERYTHING TASTES SOOOOOOOO DMAN GOOD. what's really amazing about this phenomenal chef Tully is that he puts his heart and souls into his cooking as an executive award winning chef and runs his kitchens so perfectly like a Rolex watch!!!! The place is spotless, brand new and the staff are just beyond kind and helpful. I recommend you eat EVERYTHING on the menu. Trust me.
