Review #11 out of 22 for starting off 2022 Vamonos!!!!! I have taken a couple of classes at this campus over the years and I always love coming here because of how beautiful the campus is. Formerly Radio Shack headquarters (all you millennials who dont know, RS was like Best Buy), the whole building was split between Tarrant has now been aquired by TCC. Back then when RS was still in business they use to share the building, certain sections were RS employees and the rest TCC students/staff. The layout is a bit odd because its on a hill so there are parts where you take an elevator up and then walk down the hall and take the elevator down because not everything is connected. There is a lot of space everywhere you go and you can find cozy little corners to study or take a nap all over the place. If that's not your thing panther island is right outside with plenty of walking trails and during the summer they have paddle boats available for rent. Lots of sculptures and water fountains which look every more beautiful in the summer with the flowers blooming and the Texas heat. I play pokemon go and notice many stops and gyms to keep me entertained. I love this location because there is so much to do between classes, take a walk outside and you are at the trinity river or at a fancy restaurant downtown. This campus in my opinion has the best views of all the campuses, the best cafeteria by a landslide and the best parking situation. Students attending TR need a parking sticker to park here but it is free! All you have to do is go to the police kiosk and show them a copy of your schedule, fill out a sheet and your set to go. Because this parking garage is in downtown they are always strict on parking so FYI. I know a lot of the professors that teach at TCC also teach at other local universities so they are equality professors. You pay a fraction of the price here compared to big name schools. Financial aid is available on top of the already low cost of tuition here. TCC has many clubs and organizations students can join so please take advantage of them. read more

Since I'm out of work and can't seem to find a job, figured I'd take a few classes to help fill the time. Needed to run by the advising office and financial aid department to have a few questions answered. Keeping in mind most of the offices are manned by students, I try to keep my cool when dealing with them. However, this one "employee" really got under my skin. Blatantly contradricting something I knew for a fact I read on the school's website, she would not let the issue go. Thankfully someone else stepped in to help after noticing I was about to totally lose it. In the end, I wrapped up all I needed to accomplish on campus and headed on my way. I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in 2014 from this same campus. A lot has changed since then, but I'm looking forward to taking a few courses for grins and giggles. TCC is a great place for an inexpensive, yet quality, education. Go check it outt! read more

Amazing campus; beautiful and clean. Amazing location and always a breath of fresh air to walk around. Great trail right up to campus, and the trinity river! Canoe, bike , skate or walk your way to campus if you love close enough! Excellent, top of the line biology/science equipment and labs. Thoughtful and helpful professors. Can't wait to continue my education here. Wish it was a University! Definitely looks like one! read more

My first semester here after going to South campus, North East campus, and South East campus, I decided to try this one for a while. I started during the summer and it seemed nice. No food was available during my evening class times so I never was able to buy a snack on my way to class. Same with the NE and SE. The café closed by 2pm week days during the summer. During the regular semester, the café stays open longer than the cafeteria, till about 7 sometimes 8pm depending on the day. I often parked in the overflow parking behind the school on Henderson just to avoid down town traffic since the campus is across the street from the FTW jail. I didn't mind walking the trail to the school, but in winter and thunderstorms I did park in the garage since it's attached to the school. Parking permit required for this campus or they hassle you a bit. They don't prevent you from going to class and eventually let you through. The school services are way better at a less trafficked campus, because my experience with the library, writing center, councilors office, AND business center have all been poor. I will actually walk away from a person who is being unhelpful and come back a different time, to a different person. A good portion of the time they're more helpful and understanding, not always. NE campus staff is 10x more friendly and helpful. South campus is a hit and miss. They seem annoyed most of the time and wishing to be home and not there at south. SE I didn't experience more than 1 summer semester and didn't get the chance to utilize any service other than their library. Printing is starting to suck. They charge 10 cents a page if you buy their reloadable card, BUT you can only get a card for $5. If you use your credit/debit card, it's 20 cents a print. I remember NE writing center doing 10 free pages. I need to see if they are still doing that. I've been printing at work to avoid the fees. The gym has new equipment, but is small and has fewer machines than NE and SO. The view is the only thing this place is awesome at. Oh and tons of stops and good Pokémon if you're a Pokémon Go'er. read more

I've attended multiple campuses, this is my favorite. The most modern, seems like the best teachers, based on the few I've had. Definitely the best cafeteria, gym, and class rooms. The attached talks are nice. Beautiful river front view. The science class rooms are updated unlike the 1980's high school ones in the north west campus. Good parking considering it can get packed. But at least you're not guaranteed to have to walk outside like at other campuses. And it's not under constant "not" construction like north west. That one aggravates me, they never seen to change anything and block everything their not working on. Picnic bench with a pretty view...let's block that, walkway, block that too. No apparent reason, let's just do it. Trinity river is lie a whole different and much better college. And honestly feels more like a private university. read more

I do love this campus. It's beautiful inside an outside. It's really great, even just to stop in and look at all the great sculptures and pretty fountains outside. It's part of the radio shack offices, so you'll find professionals as well as students roaming around campus. There's a cafeteria inside - nothing to rave about. Coffee and espresso available too - espresso is gross btw! The seating for the cafeteria is enormous with lots of tables, seating, comfy couches (watch out for the kids showing too much PDA), and plugs for your laptop. There are study rooms too which I love if some quiet time is needed or if you need to do some partner projects. Vending machines are spread everywhere and little balcony areas to get some fresh air. The parking garage is nice too, but you'll need a parking pass to park. Lovely campus. Great instructors (although I do recommend doing research on them, I've just gotten lucky with good ones), and just a comfortable place to get your learn on! read more

I mean you get what you pay for. Might not get the complete college experience of your dreams but you can get quick credits for cheap, just make sure the classes you take actually transfer to any future university you may plan to attend. Overall, a clean campus but you can get lost fairly easily. Professors are a hit or miss, but for the most part I've yet to meet a trash one, for the most part as long as you communicate with them they'll work with you. Would definitely say workload for the most part is a lot easier to handle than an actual uni regardless of the semester you may take, so keep this in mind if you do plan to transfer bc you will experience a culture shock but it really shouldn't be that bad. Keep your head up & put in some actual effort and TCC can be an awesome choice no doubt! read more

This campus was just horrible. Linda Olsen was the most unprofessional person my family has met. She was so rude to my husband who served in the military and has mental health issues. She was rude to him and yelled at him and pretended to no hear his requests. I can't imagine when the only help we can seek for professional assistance results in people with power like Linda Olsen screaming at a man with disabilities. I will be in contact with the next echelon of power to correct this "T.C.C. encounter", if you all think my family will sit back and let you all mistreat people with disables who seek you for help, well then we have a whole next level issue needing addressing. I can't believe she Linda Olsen called my husband to tell him F-You... and didn't have the gall to assist him in his time of need, shame on you. read more

I like the contemporary feel of the Trinity campus. Experience the balcony seating for long study groups seven stories above the panther island Trinity river area. The professors were helpful and supportive whenever I requested assistance. Becoming involved my freshman year was a breeze with the club crawl last September at the campus. read more

It can be veryyyyyy confusing when you first come here but it is a beautiful campus and once you find your bearings you get used to the challenges. read more

The actual campus is beautiful. The only downfall is the staff. They don't really know what their doing most of the time.

The campus is really nice and has several amenities available to the students. I was pleasant surprise. But the on boarding process was has been strangely overwhelming. I seemed to have an easier time getting enrolled into two separate doctoral programs than this continuing education certification program. But three visits later. Its almost done.. I see the finish line. I hope the rest of my experience is only up hill. read more
