Rude to begin with. Scheduled an appointment for Friday only to be scolded that I didn't show up…read morethe day before. They only accept appointments for Friday & Saturday. Right there on their website, and the owner, Damon already was acting "put out" that I wasn't there on Thursday, even though I called on a Wednesday for a Friday appointment. After looking over my interested vehicle I was serious about, Damon noticed I was using a magnet to check out the metal in known problem areas and stood up and said do not use a magnet.... and then said "trust me there's no bondo on any of our cars". I was already making mental notes of problems with the car, like the passenger door flopped down when you opened it. Leaf Springs were excessively noisy, seats were weak in the seating position, made noises when seating yourself, the back seat back made all kinds of noise when leaning back, lots of paint runs and orange peel on the paint.... hell the driver headlight wasn't working...... mind you, a $50K price tag on this ride. A few minutes later he walked over and started telling me he didn't like me being meticulous; ....... and that if I was going to be I could go look at their $100K+ cars cuz it looks like you want a perfect car? I said excuse me, but I certainly don't want to purchase a car if it ends up being a piece of s*%t. Then he said, I don't like you. I brushed that off and asked what the best price the owner would take at which he said it depends on what you offer. I made a comment that the best the car had going for it was the drive train and then he said "get the f*#k out" and escorted me out and locked the doors. I said my last comment like that because I was tired of his attitude. I'm really surprised in myself that I tolerated his crap that long. But his attitude was the worst from get go one. I was never at any point disrespectful, loud or otherwise rude to him to justify his attitude towards me. And this is the Owner! OF A CONSIGNMENT SHOP!!!! Whoever owned the vehicle I was interested in just lost out! So..... seller beware... Your buyers should have any right to clearly inspect a vehicle they're considering spending significant money for. Not to be kicked out because of it. Read their "about us" on their website, it's a joke..... talking about how he disliked how customers were treated, etc.... and basically that he would never do that....... pshhhhhh, bunch of hog wash. Rude dude! Clearly doesn't live up to his own published standards. Only giving 2 stars because you did have nice consignment vehicles inside your building, but your customer service skills need serious revisions.

I had new tires put on my vehicle and Ford will not reprogram the ODB2 setting for tire circumference. This is Ford policy, they refuse to calibrate Odometers. I understand the policy what I do not understand is why the person I was talking to felt it incumbent on himself to treat me with utter disrespect. I was asked, "why would you want to put out of spec tires on your vehicle?" in response to my question, "why would Ford not want me to have an accurate speed?" Two things: (1) This year and model came with different wheel and tire size options so the statement that my tires are "out of spec" is an assumption. (2) It's my truck and I did it because I wanted to. Why do Ford dealers in the Sullivan area lift new trucks, put aggressive tire and wheel packages on them and sell them new - they are Ford, I'm not Ford. People who talk to me this way lose my business. I am no longer a Schicker customer and I know my next heavy duty truck (which I'm actually shopping for right now) is NOT going to be a Ford. Recommendation to the dealer - treat your customers as if you want them to come back to your dealership.

I really enjoyed that she had Oktoberfest for her customers which included hotdogs, brats, cucumber, salad, potato salad, and so much more Oh, and I can't forget nothing Bundt cakes that she had as well and made sure all the staff got one before customers because she wanted them to feel appreciated It goes above and beyond and really cares about their staff. I brought in my 750i due to issues with a sensor. That repair plus three preventative maintenance…read moreservices totaled $ 1500. When I was checking out, I handed the gal my credit card, she processed the transaction and I left. Before leaving, I texted my son, as there was a T-shirt in the boutique I thought he would want. I left the dealership and several minutes later he texted back that he did want one. I drove back to the dealership and there was a different gal at the payment desk. While she was processing my purchase I was standing at the counter and there was a plastic frame holding a piece of paper. I turned it around facing the boutique and read that there was a 2% charge for credit card purchases. I totally get the reason for Autohaus to charge that, however I was not informed by the first cashier and if I had been, I would have simply given the gal my debit card and avoided the almost $ 30.00 charge. I spoke with Chris (Service Manager) and he said he would 'look into it" and get back to me. I have not heard from him, and it's been 2 weeks. I actually saw Peggy W (Business Manager) at a car show last Sunday. I explained the scenario to her, and she was very unempathetic, and dismissive with me. She immediately went into a rhetoric of "Oh well, I'll have to remind them again to mention that". She had the opportunity right then to "make it right" by offering to do something but instead started picking up brochures telling me that I had automatically been enrolled in a customer loyalty program. Bottom line- I would like that 2% ($ 28.50) credited back to my credit card. Once again, it would have not been an issue to use my debit card and I certainly would have if I was aware of the fee. I purchased my vehicle from Autohaus and have gone there exclusively for all maintenance and repairs. With how rude Peggy W. was and how unwilling they are to make this right, I'll most likely be looking for another dealership.
