This place is great. Their tapas are excellent, made to order and the Seafood paella very good (after I had almost 10 variations of it in Barcelona and Valencia) I can say that I have set the bar prett-tay high for it. They make it upon order so be ready to wait (I could see it cooking from our table which was right next to the opened kitchen door.
The grilled peppers blew my mind. I haven't had any tapas like this one so i say it was pretty unique. Very much like the shishito peppers, but non spicy and with a bitter kick at the end. The sea salt on it was just right. I could've had the whole thing for myself. GET IT! (needless to say, you need the fiber in this tapas world)
The patatas bravas were slightly crunchy outside and starchy inside, very good, hot, excellent sauces on them.
The best drinks, Alhambra Reserva (green bottle one, around 3.50euros) is one of my favorites, next to Alhambra Negra (didn't have it) and their Agua de Valencia is as fresh as it gets, the strongest one so far and the tastiest. The copa (cup) runs at 7euros, the Jar at 15euros, just get the jar if 3 or more are drinking.
Grilled calamari in salsa verde, outstanding. I gotta say, all the calamari from the Mediterranean are so soft, a newborn's gums could bite into them. Our theory is that the laziness of the Spanish is contagious. The calamari get their siestas, get fat and soft, and caught too easily. They end up making us humans so so happy. I say go get your power nap alright.
There were no tapas that were disliked. So good we came back twice.
Again, prices are ok, on the higher side but due to the location. But its one of those places where it's here to trap you, but it happens to be really good too.
Twice we came, they're "credit card machine was down" due to the bad wifi. Sure, I'm gonna pretend it really wasn't working. Have CASH at all times. read more
