My friend and I decided to do a food tour. We booked and to our luck it was just our party. The meet up location, Starbucks in Cosmo. We met with the lovely Ayesha, from Taste Buzz Food Tours. She gave us a detailed itinerary of what our food Tour would entail. My friend and I were super excited. I won't ruin it with the places we went to. I will say they were all very unique, and what a better way to know some history and background of the restaurant as well as Las Vegas. Ayesha was very pleasant and made our tour such a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. As we made our way around to Las Vegas she was greeted by staff and workers. My girlfriends and I went in a food tour in Las Vegas of Freemonte downtown and absolutely loved it! Our tour guide was Jimbo was amazing, comical and knowledgeable. He gave us a full tour of Freemonte, the casinos and the art district. He took us to a few local spots that is known to serve delicious food. We had America (barbecue), Asian cuisine (Thai), Balsamic and oil tasting, cocktails and sandwiches and pie for dessert. We were able to learn some interesting facts about a few local spots, bars and restaurants. The food was amazing and we were all full towards the end of our tour. Also, our tour guide was also able to take some great photographs throughout our tour. Overall experience was amazing and would definitely recommend to anyone that visits Las Vegas. We were looking for something a little different to do. Since shows aren't really a thing yet, someone in our group suggested we do a food tour. Did someone say food? We're all in. We met our tour guide, Kathy, for our evening tour on the Strip - center fountain at the Bellagio. There were six in our group, plus two others. We did all our introductions...took a group photo and off we went. The tour mixed food with a little Vegas history. Honestly, our stops were at areas I don't think any one of us would have given a thought to. No...they weren't sketchy, quite the opposite. We started light and worked our way up a great finish. In between, I think we all found a new appreciation for the vegetable the worst reputation...the lowly brussel sprout. That little sprout was the hit of the tour. You can stand tall little ball! You want wild life? We had wild life...Who knew there was a garden area at the Flamingo w/ actual flamingos, fish and other various water fowl. Probably most of you, but none in our group. This hidden gem was a beautiful little area with benches and places to relax away from the chaotic scene on the other side of those double doors. Did I mention Kathy was an outstanding guide? She was top notch. There is a bit of walking, so be ready for that. All that walking will help burn some calories (or get some of that appetite back) between stops. I think I'd be in for another round next visit. This was loved by everyone in our group. read more

Very fun adventure! We got some historical stories about the casinos & hotels we visited along with various foods and drinks including ice cream & cookies! We got our steps in as well as finding these hidden gems like Spirits & Spice where you can taste local liquors plus the delicious spiced olive oils with balsamic vinaigrette in different combinations! We had a blast! We recently moved to town so we chose the Arts District Tour in hopes of being clued in to what we had heard was the new hood where the cool kids hang out. Not only was the food was plentiful and stellar but we got so much more insight to the area than we ever would have if we'd bumbled about on our own and really went off the beaten of where we would ever have thought to go. My husband and I took a 3 day weekend trip to Vegas for our 15 yr Anniversary. We have been to Vegas plenty of times and actually met there. I'm a self proclaimed "foodie" and was excited to do our first food tour in downtown Vegas! We wanted to do something different away from the strip. It was a Monday afternoon and we ended up having a private tour! Shaun Marcus was awesome! He took us around downtown Vegas (Container Park, Fremont Experience, California Hotel, Golden Nugget etc) and had the yummiest food along the way! Even though some restaurants were closed (Covid and also being a Monday), he still made the best of the tour! Shaun is very personable and knows his food and Vegas history well. My husband and I are nerds and we love historical facts. Shaun is a plethora of knowledge! You mix food and history without the big groups (thanks Covid) and we were in the perfect place!!! We already decided we will definitely book another food tour with Shaun on our next trip during the summer and stay in the Circa Hotel! And for those who are second guessing if the food is enough; YES!!! Food is plenty! If 3 hours seem long, it actually isn't. Time goes by fast! I only regret not taking notes of all the recommendations Shaun had for us the next visit. I also forgot to take pictures of the food except dessert! One of the best food tours my wife & I have ever been on. We took the LV Strip tour. Lots of local history thrown in. Many thanks to our tour guide Sandy! A varied and tasty array of dishes covering Mexican, pan-Asian, Italian. Plenty of sweets: Honolulu Cookies, choice of gelato or hot choc. Surprise hit: roasted Brussels sprouts -- do try them! My favorite: Spirits & Spice for small batch craft liquors, liqueurs, oils & vinegars. We got to sit at 3 locations which by itself was a treat. (Most food tours don't offer much seating.) First off... it was really cool how everyone in town knew him and showed him love on the streets of downtown. Super cool personality and very enthusiastic through the entire tour! He toured us through the secret places and small businesses in the district. We are well. For larger appetite it may have been a little light. Me and my friend were both full. This was my second time going on a food tour. It lasted approximately 2.5 hours. The start location was easy to find and I love that they provide name tags. I chose the downtown tour. My tour guide April was very nice and accommodating. Another thing id like to mention is that my tour was originally scheduled for Thursday evening. Unfortunately, my flight ended up getting delayed twice and I was unable to make it. I called Taste Buzz and they were super helpful and understanding. What a wonderful food tour. I accidentally booked the evening tour, and they happily accommodated me to change to the daytime strip tour. Do this on the first day of your trip because you will definitely want to come back to some of the spots later. I loved the secret little restaurants that April showed us....we saw and ate things we would have NEVER noticed or thought to try on our own. After the tour ended, we spent the rest of our evening revisiting some locations April pointed out and trying off-the-menu cocktails we'd never have known about on our own. This tour was amazing! Our tour guide Kathy was very friendly, professional, upbeat, pleasant and easy to love. She was very thorough while providing the tour and always went the extra mile to make us feel good. My husband doesn't eat corn on the cob and while we were sampling at another restaurant she ran over and when we arrived to the Mexican restaurant they had a serving of Mexican street corn carved off into a bowl for my husband. The tour began at the container park off Fremont street and ended not too far away about 2 blocks from the golden nugget hotel. We visited 6 different places and the tastes were good sizes. We had pizza, jerky, popcorn, hotdogs, milkshake, meatballs, Hawaiian Mooshibi and saw very cool sites and learned a lot about downtown. I would definitely recommend this tour. read more

My first time back to Vegas since the pandemic and I wanted to check out the Arts District food scene.  Decided to make an afternoon out of it and booked the Taste Buzz Arts District Food Tour. The price was $99 per person which, frankly, is what you are paying for a decent meal on the strip these days.  For the price of admission, you get tastings at four super cool local restaurants plus a three hour walking tour around the art galleries and vintage shops of the arts district. Our guide, April, was awesome.  She gave us a rundown on the neighborhood and shepherded us through all the local points of interests.  The tour was well structured - a good balance between eating, drinking, walking, and sight-seeing.  The food selection was impeccable.  The restaurants outshined many of the more expensive fancy strip restaurants we visited.  In addition, April gave us a load of recommendations on all the local foodie spots. As for the neighborhood - Wow!  Hipster bars, artisanal coffee shops, art galleries, street murals, and vintage memorabilia galore!  Quite the change from ten years ago when you just as likely to be mugged as to find a good meal. One word of caution - it was hot and you will be walking outdoors.  April provided us with umbrellas and a spray bottle.  But, if you are going in the middle of the summer like us, dress accordingly and come hydrated. Regardless, if you are looking for a break from the madness of the strip (which is crazy busy and understaffed right now), I highly recommend this tour! read more

This is an excellent experience for tourists or locals to explore the strip and try new styles of food! This was my very first time doing a food tour in Las Vegas or anywhere for that matter. Our guide April was a consummate professional and knew tons of facts I previously did not know about the strip. All of the guests co-mingled and we enjoyed a few stops along the strip together. The best walking food tour in Las Vegas! My friend and I are locals, but never really explored the different foods on the Strip. We decided to go with Taste Buzz Food Tours after hearing great feedback from friends. Our tour group was pretty small (4 total) but I loved it since we all bonded over our love for food! Kathryn was our tour guide and she was wonderful! She took us all around the Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Grand Bazaar, the Flamingo, and High Roller. She had fascinating insights on all the little places we went, and had backstories on the different restaurants as well. I loved learning more about the Chefs' background and reasoning behind opening their restaurant. The food was delicious, and everywhere we went the people were great and welcoming to our little tour group.
