Kelly was great! He knows Vegas history and downtown backwards and forwards. We loved the historical pictures he showed along the way so we could see the changes that have happened. He hooked us up with great eating ideas and a fresh look at Downtown. We HIGHLY recommend this walking tour! Add the Pawn Shop to your ticket, great things to learn on the way there.

I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! We booked the tour as part of a Christmas trip to Vegas, and it ended up being one of my favorite things of the entire trip. Kelly is a phenomenal guide who is highly knowledgeable and entertaining. The history of Las Vegas and the small details he includes are not to be missed, especially if you're a history buff, which I am. The stops at the historic casinos, the photos of "Old Vegas", and the stories of how downtown has made a comeback are well worth your time. His restaurant recommendations are an added bonus! (See picture) The final stop at the Container Park and the highlights of the downtown revitalization are also a great tie in to the old glory days of Fremont Street and Glitter Gulch. Best two hours you'll spend downtown!

Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas historical tour. Kelly Fairchild does an awesome job of guiding this easy-going tour. The revitalization of Downtown and Fremont Street Corridor is spectacular. Kudos to Tony Hsieh ( who died last month) for having the foresight and passion to do something that will benefit so many. I will definitely spend more time here! Terrific!

I called the 800 number. No answer and no voice-mail available. I then emailed the vendor, all while still waiting out on the strip, and later received a text only asking if I wanted to rebook. Still no response from vendor on whether the tour ever happened (and left early?) or not at all. On a related note. The reviews on the website are fake. They are dated in the future for a tour that hasn't even gone out yet! (I had plenty of time to look at the website, mostly looking for a contact number, while waiting for the tour alone on the Strip.) Postscript. I received a call from the tour vendor the next day saying the guide "had an emergency" and couldn't make it. And the other two groups had cancelled. I was left waiting out on a curbside on the Las Vegas strip with no call text or email saying the tour was not going to happen. Again, the vendor asked if I wanted to rebook. After wasting an evening, plus uber fare getting to and from the the tour location, there is no way I'd give this vendor another opportunity. Better to spend your money in the casinos. At least you have a slim chance on a return on your investment.

A place that throughout the years has seen its share of theft, murder and even nuclear testing as entertainment for tourists back in the day. Can you imagine? Beyond the glitz and flashing lights of Vegas, there are morbid tales. And what better way to hear about it than on a ghost walking tour of the strip with Vegas Ghosts? Tours last about 1 hour ($21 per person), with an option to do an extended version with 1 hour of extra spooky tales (and just $5 extra per person). The meeting location is right on the strip by the Fashion Show Mall, making it super convenient. Our guide Cody did a great job keeping this upbeat (for a ghost tour). But why is Las Vegas haunted? Well, you'll have to take the tour to get the full story. In short, death and murder has always been associated with Vegas, going back to the land grab from Las Vegas Paiute Tribe then later with the mobsters who weren't exactly afraid to 'pop off' anyone who didn't pay up. Nearly every hotel on the strip has a ghost story to tell. Though you'll likely never hear much about it in the news since it's not exactly the image of Vegas. There is big money in Vegas, and nearly every hotel has some sordid tale. This is the story of Vegas you won't see in the news. Legendary celebrities like Liberace, Tupac and Bugsy Seigel, as well as ordinary individuals simply in the wrong place at the wrong time, are a part of the city's infamy, their spirits linger on and curse the dice in Sin City. One thing is for certain. We won't think of our time in Vegas ever the same way again, especially while staying at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, one of our favorites on the strip. Let's just say, it's seen its share of deaths with numerous falls (intentional or not) from its hundreds of balconies. Creepy! Advanced reservations for Vegas Ghosts are highly recommended and can be booked directly from their website.

He was super knowledgeable, funny, welcoming, and explained everything so well. You could tell he had great relationships with all of the restaurants, and I really liked that he also shared the history of MGM Grand along the way. The quality of the food was amazing, and by the end we were SO full. The best surprise was at the end when Kevin took us to a hidden speakeasy where we had incredible affogato espresso martinis. We never would have found it on our own, and it was the perfect way to end the night. I would absolutely do this tour again. Thank you Lip Smacking Foodie Tours for hosting us!

All the spots were amazing. I felt like I was in my 20s again visiting the cool bars we used to hang out in!! We have already suggested several people go on this tour. The arts district was super fun too. I'd do this again if the price points stays the same. This is fun for visitors, but locals too! If you have any physical limitations, there are a few difficult parts. There is one long walk. Half mile? There is 1 spot that has several stairs. There was some road construction with uneven parts that you have to be able to navigate through.

There was also a stop at Seligman where the inspiration for Disney Pixar Cars came about. The Grand Canyon itself is breathtaking.
