I was looking for a new Chinese food restaurant and this place was recommended. Ordered the General Tso's Chicken with pork fried rice and fried dumplings. We also ordered fried shrimp for my daughter, which she loved. They were very crispy. Everything tasted great. The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because it took an hour for our food to be delivered. If you're hungry make sure you order take out way in advance. This used to be a solid old school Chinese spot , but something has changed , not sure if they are under new management or what it is .. but it's not good . As mentioned in another review the beef and mushrooms were so salty it was inedible, the dimsum ( shrimp dumplings ) were dry, cold and flavorless , cold sesame noodles had no sauce or flavor , this is my brother's go to Chinese spot and he said all his food was not the same as it used to be and he did not enjoy it. Surprisingly enough the Szechuan wontons , which have sucked from every other place I've ordered from before, were outstanding , the sauce was sweet, a little sour, garlicky and most importantly spicy AF , if they did everything else as well as they did these they would really have something but as it stands now I will be crossing this place off my delivery list..although I might need those wontons again at some point read more

This place is just up the block from me so my kids just go there by foot! It is a favorite of mine and the neighborhood. The delivery guy is always running in and out whenever I'm there. Taste of China have a good selection of typical Chinese dishes and they have the usual lunch specials. The place is kept very clean and service is fast. The lady behind the counter always get my order correct but the guy is the opposite. The owner and worker are from the same family and have been here forever. Whenever I crave Chinese food this is definitely the go to place! My favorite menu items are the crab ragoons, chicken wings with French fries, and sesame chicken! The crab ragoons are crispy and it comes with a sweet and sour sauce that's just a perfect pair. The chicken wings and French fries crisp to perfection (love it with some duck sauce or ketchup).
