Lunch specials from $11-13, with with a choice of soup or soda; and rice. We usually get their Double cooked pork belly (spicy enough for me) and Farmhouse Pork with Long chili (mild spicy was milder than "1 chili pepper"). A lot of tables, usually not very busy when I've gone. Service was ok. Restrooms available.

While the ambiance could use an update the food is BOMB. It was pretty empty so the service was relatively quick. Cant wait to go back ! I had the double cooked style pork. Chefs kiss !! So good my boyfriend had the orange chicken which sauce was really good. I would def stop by if you're debating on trying it! They also received a michelin star in the past which is dope!

I was in the neighborhood and decided to try this restaurant, which used to be on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list. Since I was dining solo, I just ordered their infamous soup dumplings. I had mixed feelings about their soup dumplings. The dough was thicker than the ones I had at Shanghai Zhen Gong Fu, and even Nan Xiang Long Bao or Kung Fu Xiao Long Bao. The flavors were well balanced, but there was not enough soup as I was accustomed to at the three places mentioned above. Service was rushed, and the staff was too eager to take my order. The ambiance of the place has a local vibe and appearance of being in the neighborhood for so many years. I may return to try their Szechuan dishes such as the cucumber salad and cumin lamb.

don't recommend this place at all. all the dishes were super salty and unsophisticated in flavor. the mapo tofu was laughable. the restaurant is super small, bathroom needs lots of work and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages, and all the chairs are metal and uncomfortable. they don't have any tables for parties over 6. the hallway in the back to the bathroom is really small, dark, and jank. what's the worst part is that one of the staff came to complain about a 10% tip, nickel and diming our party even though the food was lousy and the service was average at best. the lunch special looks good if you get one thing but i would not come back again. it's worth making the trip out a stones throw nearby to flushing for any medicore restauarant. would be better than our meal here.

I have never noticed this Chinese restaurant on Austin street until recently. So I swing by for lunch on a summer Thursday afternoon. Have to say it's a nice place to sit down and have a nice meal. For appetizers; I had the vegetable rolls that were super yummy. And for the main entree I had some delicious chicken lomein. Overall the food was super delicious and was served quickly. My lunch was delightful. The services were quick and pleasant. They had a lunch special as well. Overall the prices were affordable. I noticed a lot of folks did take out as well. I definitely see myself eating here more frequently.

Great for take out and dinning in. Better than your average Chinese spot. Crispy beef never disappoints! I'm not well versed in Chinese food but I would say this is closer to authentic than other places in the area.

We ordered delivery through GrubHub and it was delivered on time but the portions were small and no rice came with it. Flavor of the fish dish was good and the lamb was alright as well. The Lo mein barely had any beef. Not sure I want to order from here again.

Flat containers even for simmered fish and tofu in chilis

Food is decent... photos on yelp all showed that the slow cooked fish and tofu with chilis come in a bigger container than what our delivery order came with... it also came in almost no chili oil... so pretty confused because this dish typically comes with much chili oil. It came in a small flat white container that everything else came in. A bit disappointed since that is our favorite dish, and the reason why I placed an order to begin with. We ordered 5 things: shrimp fried noodles, the garlic sauce chicken, fish and tofu in chili, pork belly in cabbage, and cold cucumber appetizer for a total of $100. ;Shanghai Zhen Gong Fu has similar menu items, and is definitely a better choice to order delivery from within the area, in my opinion, quality/taste/portion wise)

Decided to try more menu items recently for lunch. Got the Wok seared Chicken and broccoli and Black Bean chicken, both with white rice. Both came with a soup of choice. I had to get the Hot n Sour Soup, one, I'm a soup head, two, its SPY-C! Speaking of SPY-C, the Black Bean Chicken dish was very fiery spice wise and still very tasty! Wasn't sure what to expect as this was my 1st time trying it..but glad that I did. My taste buds thanked me! The Chicken n' broccoli was also good. Portions were great as well. I'm definitely a fan!

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.

I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.

We went a second time because our first experience was so good that we wanted to try their other dishes, and now after the second time, we can't wait to return for a third. We definitely need to return with a bigger group the next time we go so that we can try more of their dishes! Our second time there, we had the "Night Market Chow Fun" and the "Chongqing Braised Beef." Both were excellent! Probably my favorite Chow fun now and the Chongqing braised beef was so tender and had all the szechuan tingly spices that open up your taste buds and sensories. We LOVED both dishes. It had the 3 chili pepper sign and the server warned us that it was very spicy, and IT WAS -- in all the good ways. May not be for the faint, though, so be careful. Not sure if they can adjust the spiciness. The restaurant is a few blocks from the main street of Steinway so it'll take a bit of searching. Going inside, the area is rather abstract. Service was lukewarm, I got my order in but the two workers inside weren't too receptive and the menu itself is kinda barebones with most of their food being a bit more than I would like to pay for so I just settled on one order of Singapore Mei Fun. After waiting 10 minutes for my food to arrive, the Singapore noodles which are usually spicy were kinda salty but it was nothing a bit of duck sauce wouldn't fix. The dandan noodles my friend ordered were maybe my favorite, they were the perfect level of spicy and so flavorful without being overwhelming. I'd go back just for my own plate of those.
