    Iced maple latte
    Amanda C.

Cute coffee-esq shop in the Squamish visitors Centre I believe it was? They had a nice line up of coffees, teas, some premade sandwiches and ice cream for later on in the day. I got their maple iced latte which was awesome. It was made by a lovely barista who clearly loved his job and was a professional coffee maker. My friends got an egg sandwich with provolone on it I want to say, on sourdough. They loved their sandwiches. They also had healthy muffins available as well as energy balls (made with oats, honey, flax seeds, etc.). This was a nice spot to map out your plan for the day to explore the awesome area of Squamish.

My friends and I popped in here really quick as we were leaving Squamish en route to Vancouver. It was the perfect spot to get a breakfast sandwich, coffee and enjoy the beautiful view! Parking is easy, as it's located inside an info center. I could see waits being a little long if it's crowded, but otherwise it's a lovely place to relax for a bit.

Cute coffee shop inside a travel info/shop tourist center. They have freshly made pastries, as well as a full serve coffee bar. They also sell full bags of coffee and espresso (including organic).

Looking for an alternative coffee stop en route to Whistler? Bypass the fast food chains and head to the Squamish Visitors Centre. Inside the visitors centre is a slick new coffee shop serving Moja beans and an assortment of baked goods and panini sandwiches. The seating area is bright with natural light and a panoramic view of the Stawamus Chief. The parking is easy, and the facility has impeccably maintained washrooms.

Great place to stop on your way to Whistler. I was completely surprised that this little Gem was here. I ordered a maple latte with almond milk and wow it was really great and warmed me up. The drink was not too sweet, was perfect. They also had a few different gluten free baked goods and that was shocking to me but I was so happy! I tried the date bar and it was very sweet but it well with my latte. They also had a bathroom here and a cute little gift shop. Lots of tourist info here too. Would highly recommend to stop here for a bathroom break on your drive up to Whistler.

Great views while you sip your coffee

Great view! Coffee is standard. The view is worth the stop. Take note the code shop closes early - 4:15pm daily

Starbuck's was Mr. B's favorite for coffee and we prefer the smaller independently owned coffee shops and Fox and Oak is a gem. Located in downtown Squamish, really on the outskirts of downtown. This tiny little spot has a long bar with seating and then a lovely patio. The staff at the register taking orders both times was so friendly, helpful and offered great recommendations. On our first visit it was a latte for Mr. B and a Chai Latte for me, both were creamy, filled with rich flavor without being bitter. We also shared a maple walnut donut. Oh it was so good. I can't say the last time I had a donut, but when in Canada, maple anything is always so good. The donut was light and had a lovely maple glaze on the top and then toasted walnuts. So good! On our second visit, we had the same drinks, the same Maple Walnut Donut and added a blueberry fritter. The fritter was crunchy on the outside, after the first bite we could see the layers of dough much like a croissant and in the middle were loads of fresh blueberries. Wow, fresh berries and not a sweet fake blueberry gel. It truly was scrumptious. Parking is on the street and can be tight, but both times we found parking even with a short walk. Which was good to walk off our donuts and pastries.

The menu has an Italian and Greek touch. They also have a full coffee menu, and I noticed the tea selection was especially impressive with quality brands. I got a green olive sandwich, which was an interesting combination of hummus, fig spread and fresh figs, olives, and arugula on a pita. I thought it worked surprisingly well! The overall flavour profile of the sandwich was savoury - the figs didn't stand out as sweet when combined with the other ingredients. I also got an iced tea (lapsang souchong - a tea that I really like but rarely see in tea shops) and what they called an "ugly but beautiful" cookie. I don't know what the type of cookie is actually called, but it seemed like a meringue-based biscotto with crunchy nuts inside. It was good - I liked the texture! I liked how they decorated the store, it had a homey vintage look. They were swamped when we visited but the staff was very pleasant nonetheless!

It was stacked with plenty of meat! I wish it had a bit more of the veg, but it was quite filling with all the meat. The brown sugar hojicha was pretty good. Even though it had a brown sugar syrup, it wasn't too sweet. Overall, it was a great snack and I'd probably stop by again (:
