Now on to what we're here for. First, this gem is easy to find and sits in a very good location on Fry Rd. If you put the address in your phone correctly then you will not miss it. It's right in front of Frozen Custards which results in plenty of parking and outdoor seating if needed (I opted to dine in my car). I decided on the Chicken Philly because I no longer eat red meat or pork. I added a small fry to see what this special fry seasoning was about. Man, let me tell you - this is it! The sandwich was delicious. It's good size, not quite a foot long and the fries were great. The fry seasoning is unique and good as hell, compliments the homemade potatoes well. Might I add, the amoroso roll that they use for the sandwich melts in your mouth until the last bite. Listen here, the sandwich and fries were so good that I convinced myself that I would be hungry later after watching college football so I ordered some chicken tenders and fries. Please note that the tenders aren't as big like a Raising Canes's but these tenders were actually seasoned unlike a Raising Cane's so you will have to give something to get something. These were good too but the Chicken Philly is King! On top of the food being great, the customer service is on point. The chicken Philly was great, the chicken was really seasoned, maybe just a bit too seasoned. It had mushrooms, my only real complaint is the mushrooms were canned. I visited Tastee Buddies because my dad really wanted a cheesesteak and I thought of Tastee Buddies immediately from the FB pages. It was only a 35 minute drive from us so not bad just hoped it was good. We were greeted quickly when we approached the truck and placed our order for two cheesesteaks, one chicken and one ribeye, cheese sticks, chicken strips, and a large fry. Now I'm aware they mentioned combos would no longer include fries, but I didn't think that applied to the chicken strips/wings as well. $8 for the small 6 strips more like nuggets I received was a bit steep, but we just ordered another fry and kept it pushing will know for next time not to order that. Really want to try the wings but 8 drummettes for $10 with no fries is also pushing it for me. Now these cheesesteaks... They are the truth! My dad who doesn't get any veggies even loved his, tastes similar to the one I had when I visited Philly. Just need more cheese next time, but the fries are great will probably ask for them to be extra crispy they fresh potatoes so I'd like an extra crunch. $12 bucks for a cheesesteak and small fries you can't beat it. Will probably only have the "lil philly" next time, but can't wait to go back! read more
