When you need a break from bbq! A bunch of us were in town for a dive meet at the COM aquatic center and were craving something lighter for dinner. We found this place and loved it! First of all, about 20 of us walked in at once and they handled the crowd beautifully. You order at the counter and our food was out within minutes. The PHO with brisket was delicious and everyone liked their tea drinks (though one person found the Boba chewy even though the tea was delicious). The pineapple green tea was a hit! About half the group got cold noodle dishes and half Pho. Kids and adults were happy and the staff couldn't have been better! We had several people in the group who found this a very authentic Pho experience. What a great find! I will be back for more milk tea soon! read more

The food was wonderful, and among the best Banh Mi sandwiches I have ever had anywhere. The boba was great as well. Service was acceptable. We came here for the boba but of course stayed for some pho. Upon walking in, we were quickly seated and given us our menus. The pho comes in two different sizes and the price difference between the two is about $2. We ordered a chicken pho, the beef pho, and a chicken fried rice. The tv was playing so there was something to look at while we ate. It was pretty busy so the inside was loud and chaotic. All the tables had paper on top which I'm assuming is for easy cleanup. All the extra condiments were already at our table. Chili paste, siracha, soy sauce, and spoons to name a few. Our chili paste was crusty and the lid was missing. So it was dry. Our sever forgot a few things but he was kind when we reminded him. He also checked up on us several times. My chicken pho was really good but I only counted about three pieces of chicken. The beef pho was too sweet for my liking.. The chicken fried rice is $12 and I felt like the portion was too small. It was reallly good though. We paid about $40 for two pho's and a chicken fried rice. The boba was great and I paid $11 for two. I went for my usual taro vanilla milk tea with regular boba and my friend had a honeydew one with the chewy boba. Had been craving pho and this hit the spot. Would visit again. read more

Food is fantastic! Our favorite place for pho in Midland/Odessa area. However, business hours are quite disappointing. The one MAJOR draw back is the inconsistency of closing hours. They are always closing early, so you can't ever count on them being open. If you aren't going in the middle of the day, I wouldn't go. Always plan for them to close 1-2hrs before their listed business closing hours. But best place in town when they are open. read more

The spring rolls are the best ... very good. Boba tea is delish.... yes moving from San Francisco the expectation for boba is high and boba here is pretty good. Pho and Bun Bo Hue here are good.... The food here is Americanized to cater the majority and missing key ingredients that would be in certain dishes. While their pho dat biet is different from traditional dac biet, I miss the tendon and tripe that is usually in there. Same goes for the bun bo hue, theres no cha lua (Vietnamese ham) and pig's feet. The broth of the pho (beef and chicken) and bun bo hue is good. Bun bo hue broth is not authentic but they make it spicy enough hit the craving. They are stingy on the meat and garnish (bean sprouts) portions. The boba is great. I also love that this place gives 4 egg rolls instead of 2 that you usually get at Vietnamese restaurants. I'm just glad there's more Vietnamese restaurants popping up compared to none 2-3 years ago. read more

I really liked this place. I've been in this area for about a month and a half. In California food is rampant but I struggle here. This place was okay based on my standards that I am used to so I went back for pho a few times. Yesterday I worked late and needed some comfort food. I asked the guy to give me bo bun Hue which is different from pho broth. I got pho extra spicy!! To write this review I had to talk to my sister who is Vietnamese and she verified that they are two different broths. The lady insisted it was the same broth!! I am assuming this place is getting so popular that quantity is better than quality. Her name is Van! She is not very friendly. She wanted me take the food back from last night which She had me bring in to prove I didn't eat it! She said I should put it in the microwave?? Lady is crazy!!! I think I can safely say, after trying every Vietnamese place in Midland, that this is the best one. It's not the most authentic one but it does taste the best. There are other ones (I won't name) that certainly do things more traditionally but I had major issues with all of them. Sometimes being authentic doesn't make up for spoiled ingredients or lazy cooking. Besides the inconsistently cooked shrimp, both it and the pho had good solid flavors. I would avoid the BBH. Another yelper said it tasted different, I would argue it tastes like the pho broth + some added chili sate sauce (very little if any shrimp paste) which does not equal BBH. Otherwise, accoutrements were fresh and they had most of what you would want from a Vietnamese and from an American standpoint (ketchup and fried chicken) maybe for the little kids who haven't developed their palettes yet haha. read more

First time coming here, friendly modern looking mom and pop feel, which I love. I ordered the chicken fried rice as well as a Thai milk tea with Bobba. Friendly staff. The portion of fried rice is enough for a meal, possibly 1.5 meals (I eat large amounts of food though, so might be 2 meals for some people), however still seems a bit pricy for what you're buying. For the price of the chicken fried rice I wish they had more chicken, or more of a fried rice with chicken on top. I just moved to Midland recently and my wife loves Boba tea. I wasn't a big fan on Boba tea until I tried it which was really great so we came to this place and I have to tell you was one of the best experiences I had. The customer Service is on top of everything, the food was quick, and the Boba was amazing! But I wanted to see if there was other Boba places that were better so I went to Odessa to three Boba spots and I have to say they were good but they weren't great like this one. I love disposal place because every time you buy Boba they give you a card and they check off one box and once you get to 10 checks then you get a free Boba. So I do consider this bubble place the best in Midland and Odessa. I did go to kung fu tea or kung fu Boba I believe it's one of those names but I tried that Boba and customer service sucked and they took forever on my order and I just didn't taste sweet and it didn't have any flavor.
