Accompanied by "sassy sauce" our fries and onion rings were dipped in this delightful yet spicy accoutrement! My turkey melt was delicious- carved turkey- not slimy cold cuts, cheese and banana peppers were a perfect and delectable combination on lightly toasted bread- simply marvelous! For desert- and they are all lovingly homemade, I had a mixed berry pie with ice cream and my friend had a slice of Dutch apple pie! Both equally and fabulously delicious! They were immediately yelled at and told they could not sit there unless they ordered from the dinner menu. My father politely explained that we were ordering sandwiches and that his daughter had just flown in. The owner said it didn't matter--if we weren't ordering off the dinner menu, we had to leave. As a result, we were forced to eat in our car in the middle of winter. Great food does not excuse disrespectful, unkind treatment--especially toward elderly customers. The lack of compassion was shocking, and I will not return.
