Wow, this place is great! I drive by all the time being oblivious at how wonderful this place…read morereally is. My rents were in town and we had bought a treadmill from someone in Meridian. I told my dad we probably needed a ramp and a dolly because the owner said it was heavy. I called Tate's to make sure we didn't need to reserve the items because I wasn't sure exactly how the process worked. I highly suggest calling ahead to make sure they have what you need. The downtown location had what we needed so that call saved us from driving from one location to the next. Once we arrive, we are welcomed by help and assistance. Denver was awesome at answering our questions and getting us what we needed. In no time we were on the road with our ramp and dolly. Two hours later we returned after a successful treadmill move, (the rental was a life and back saver and it didn't bust our wallet) only to decide I wanted to rent an aerator for my lawn. The guys at the yard switched the rental items up, taught me how to use the funny machine and again, we were on our way! Again, after an hour, another successful rental (and about ten pounds lighter, that aerator doesn't mess around hahahah) we brought the rental back to Tate's. Let me just say, everyone that helped us was extremely helpful and friendly. My dad sang Tate's praises all day long saying that he just couldn't believe how wonderful and friendly every one was. I quote my father, "that place was awesome!" So when push comes to shove or just when you need probably just about anything, pop in here and these guys will help get you situated. I love that they have multiple hour rentals so if you only need something for 2 hours, you only pay for two hours. (That is their base rental hour.) Go! Go! Go! Now I am trying to think of chores to do that would involve me renting from Tate's!

Unfortunately today I had to rent from a different location and had the displeasure of meeting one of the most unprofessional rude employees I have ever encountered at the Fairview location. When I arrived to the store I thought I was in the correct location. Come to find out I was at the wrong location. This employee informed me that I was at the wrong location in the most rude way. I asked where the correct tates was located that I needed to be at and he said "I don't know, just google it". I told him "well there are multiple other locations" he just sat there and glared at me. He took extra effort to make me feel stupid for being at the wrong location. He was extremely condescending, was almost literally yelling at me, and scowling his eyebrows. I'm not sure why he's so angery but either way I don't feel that any of your personal stuff should show at work when you're in the customer service world. And if you see the guy with shoulder length dirty blonde hair with glasses I suggest you avoid him. Thank you Tates rents for having 99% awesome staff. This guy does not reflect who you guys are and I feel he is an anchor to your company. He is holding you guys back from perfection. After reading some of the other comments other people have had bad experiences due to the shoulder length dirty blonde hair guy. I suggest the owner Haley put him on an action plan until he fixes his attitude, or he will surely lose the company valued customers. I pray the owner takes this very seriously because I know I left this location feeling degraded and I worry about the next costumers he's going to be helping. They may not be as calm as I am.
