Items for sale were all reasonably priced and there were around 160 vendors. It took awhile to decide what I wanted/needed to buy. Finally bought 3 stained glass flowers ($5 ea) to put in my planters and a pretty necklace ($18). I wanted another necklace but it had no price and there was no answer from the artist after the cashier tried to get a hold of them which is a shame because they lost a sale). I was visiting from another state but I hope I get another chance to go back.

I've passed by this place multiple times, have joked with friends about how a friend of mine shares the 'Kissel' name (no relation). Never really thought to stop in until recently, when another friend of mine paid a visit and told me I just HAD to come and shop here for a bit. Boy, she really hit the nail on the head encouraging me to come here. Soon as I had a chance to be further out this way, I made a point to go in. The interior is very much like an antique shop might be, though keep in mind you won't find used antiques here - these are all really fine quality decor items, and locally made items. There's stuff EVERYWHERE, hanging on the walls, resting on furniture and shelves, even displayed nicely on the floor. In the back room, the walls are covered with different kinds of yarn. There's also some really nice seating back there, and I half wish it were a cafe as well because I'd be there weekly in a heartbeat! I was greeted immediately when I entered, and encouraged to check out all the Christmas decor they had available at a really good discount. Honestly I have enough Christmas clutter so I didn't indulge, but I managed to find a really cute fruit bowl with a cow on it for my kitchen (my kitchen is very much farm animal themed, so I was ecstatic). It's located on East Robinson road closer to Twin City Highway. The parking lot is very small, so parking is limited, but you can park on the street right in front on the same side as the shop. From the outside, it looks like a very small antique shop, but once you get inside, you'll see a number of rooms to check out. Currently, there are a lot of Fall themed home decor items as well as vintage Christmas houseware and decor - two of my favorite holidays! I ended up purchasing some healing crystals for myself and as a gift for someone, burlap nesting boxes that open to keep things inside, long stemmed artificial sunflowers and my first lucky bamboo plant. They offered cookies, doughnuts and apple cider for free today and the guestbook at the register was also a very nice touch! The owner and staff were super friendly and I can't wait to check out the store again in the near future. 'The Old Greenhouse' is named due to it actually being a greenhouse before it became a flower shop, to now an antique shop, which are the same owners of 'The Old Chapel' a few minutes down the rowwhich apparently features hundreds of vendors with antiques.

There's lots of shades to choose from, again organized by color. The prices for the items we looked at seemed fair. The store was very clean and well organized, making shopping a breeze. My husband then asked her if theres a military discount to which she wasnt not thrilled about so I said YES, Its 10% off bc we have used it at that location before. He went show his military ID but of course he accidentally left it in his cammies. (His fault-he shouldve had it with him) however the cashier still shouldve applied the 10% to honor the veteran discount anyways. He has photos of his id & clear proof of his service. Wasnt good enough. So I said actually we wont be purchasing this then- my husband was kind enough to take back both heavy chair boxes to the section so that the cashier didnt have to carry them. We were completely unsatisfied with our interaction. Its not about the $20 we wouldve saved it was about the cashier's unfriendlyness & clear annoyance to be bothered by us late at night toward close. She should've made it right even if it meant calling a manager. Ive worked retail for years- id never question if someone was a vet or deny them their 10% if they forgot their card out of respect. People don't l typically lie about being a US service member over a few bucks. And really, the 15% shouldve been honored considering I never left the store and the transaction couldve been 1... I didnt realize he wanted to buy more items especially close to $200. I'm sure that it would have been even cheaper after the holiday. I spent a lot of time in the housewares sections. Reusable straws. Frying pans. Tongs. Silicone cookie cutters. Pretty much everything was there. The quality is decent for what you are paying for. I liked some of the quirky items like Yummy Can Bacon where you can cook bacon strips in your microwave. I also liked an LED soap dispenser to make washing your hands more enjoyable. You can save a lot on food. Cereal was cheap with brands like General Mills. I saw a lot of canned items, such as soup and peas. There was a spill in an aisle. A female staffer was sweeping a powdered detergent mess. It did smell nice as I walked by it. Staff are everywhere, but they left shoppers alone. Nice! The book section was cool. Phone accessories were next to it. It was cool seeing wireless chargers and phone mounts for your car. I will always have a soft spot for steering wheel covers at Ollie's. I got one at an Ollie's in Nashville and still use it. It was nice seeing a variety of them at this store.
