Got my eyebrows microbladed back in August and did a touch up late September. I absolutely love my new brows. Julie did such an amazing job. I had overplucked thin ends and tried my best to fill them in but who am I kidding, it would take me forever and I feel like they still weren't good. I went in nervous since I didn't know what to expect and Julie calmed me down. She went over what I wanted(something natural that matched my face), she drew my design until it was near perfect(one of my arches is higher than the other). The whole process was around 2 hours long. The touch up was quicker, about an hour. She gives you the after care instructions and provides you with ointment and what to expect(from dark, to flaking, to the true color)and checks up on you to see the progress. Will definitely be coming back for my touch ups. Julie exceeded my expectations and I absolutely love my brows. I don't use powder or anything to fill them in and they look natural. Found Julie on Instagram and immediately was in awe of her beautiful brow work. I hated having to draw my brows in every day and most of the time they didn't turn out as good as I hoped. I've never really had an issue with drawing in my sparse eyebrows everyday, but now that I have them microbladed, they are more perfect than I could ever draw. I just can't help myself and look at the perfect eyebrows in the mirror and wiggle them around - it gives me immense joy. Julie is super sweet and has a calming, nurturing vibe. Very detail-oriented - she took time meticulously measuring out my eyebrows and making sure everything was aligned with my facial ratios; in her own craft, there is definitely an artistic element to this. She asked me my personal preferences and confirmed at every step that I was satisfied. She also thoroughly and confidently answered all my questions and helped placate my concerns. After 30 mins of numbing cream and sketching out eyebrows, Julie determined how dark I wanted my brows. She considered my original hair color vs my balayage color - I told her I'd like to be close to my root color. Although the scratching noise of the microblading was offputting, I was thankful for the numbing cream because it was painless. With the soothing classical music Julie was playing and her calming nature, I dozed on and off throughout the process. I believe she did 3 layers/sets of microblading. I'm loving the soft, feathery strokes and have received compliments on how natural and full they look (this is 2 days post). I can at least still do the shape i want from there when I do a full face of makeup, otherwise the shape she gave works well for my everyday work week look. This is a very very late review! I went to Julie around January. She is very nice and attentive! She always asked if I was ok and if there was any pain. This was my first time and it was a great experience! It wasn't painful, a tad bit in the beginning before she applied the cream but tolerable. I love how she is very affordable yet provides really great work. My eyebrows look very natural and I get many compliments! I used to take 30 min to do my eyebrows in the morning because I have a hard time shaping them but she perfected my arch and it looks so natural like I wanted!
